“We found this location by chance shortly after it rebranded and have been going back consistently ever since. The service is unmatched and authentic - everyone is so personable and kind. We’ve never had a less than stellar experience. We’ve celebrated birthdays, Valentine’s Day, brunches, and even just drinks - all exquisite. I’ve been to several Brazilian steakhouses in the DFW area and this place surpasses them all by far. We highly recommend them!”

Fresh salads, delicious bread, large portions in a romantic, as well as family friendly environment. BYOB, plenty of parking, fast service and very reasonable prices. We recently hosted our daughter’s engagement party at Cafe Italia, with 22 adults and 4 children attending. Everything was perfect! Albert, Arturo, Patty and team were wonderful! “The food and service were perfect! We enjoyed a cheese plate, some wine, and the prime rib dinner special. I wouldn't have changed anything. The prime rib was very tender and delicious, and the salad, baked potato and warm bread were all excellent. The cheese plate had a great variety of items. The key lime pie was also very good. Our server Alex anticipated everything we needed and did a fantastic job. The only negative was that the woman at the table next to us didn't know about using her "inside voice" in a restaurant, but that wasn't the restaurant's fault. She left as we were being served our entree, so it all worked out. Wonderful dinner and very nice evening!”

“A nice spot to go try, espeically for a golf venue. Went here on a business meeting and I was met by a great staff. The view was very pleasing, the greenery and outside patio. Had the pork belly burn ends as an appetizer, it was very delicious. Menu can be a bit for some customers, but its worth the experience. The staff were all smiles, friendly and rather gorgeous as well. I was waited by a Ms. Madison, shout out to her and her hospitality. Theres was a small rush and big group and she was able to respectfully come check on us ever so often.”

“Our entire visit was STELLAR. We wanted to treat our daughter to an experience at a fancy restaurant for her birthday. We chose Old Hickory Steakhouse after a dear friend recommended it to us. The entire experience was EXACTLY what she wanted and we definitely plan to come back! Debbie provided EXCEPTIONAL service and was extremely knowledgeable about the dishes and helped me navigate selecting a meal that I could safely eat (I have many food sensitivities). She was very accommodating since we had never been to a restaurant of this caliber. She made the experience very special for my daughter's birthday!
Our high compliments to the chef as well because the food was EXCELLENT. I do not know what brand of gluten-free bread they use but it tastes like normal bread and was wonderful! My husband and daughter had the filet mignon and they were cooked perfectly! We also enjoyed the ceasar style grilled broccolini, yukon gold mashed potatoes, Old Hickory vegetable medley, and of course our daughter tried the Billionaires baked potato! Dessert was absolutely divine as well! Thank you so much for such a memorable visit!”

The place was also clean, which made it more comfortable to eat there. Overall, this Whataburger had great food and service, and I’d definitely come back.”

“I recently ate here while visiting from out of town! It was the best meal I’ve had in years! The rolls were fresh and melted in my mouth! The meatloaf was amazing, able to taste every ingredient! The broccoli was steamed and perfect for my taste! The dessert was ice cream with blackberry cobbler! It was divine!!! My only bad thing was I would have enjoyed having a spoon instead! There was one waiter taking care of the front part of the restaurant that was on point the entire evening! He was very engaging with all of his patrons and kept everything clean! I can’t wait to find a location close to my home!”

We elected to sit at a booth and I was very happy they sat us at a half moon booth with tons of room. Our food server, Sarah, was amazing from the start. Filled with enthusiasm and knowledge. She didn’t miss a beat and quickly picked up on what we liked. The perfect amount of attention and care. The manager was pretty entertaining himself. “Generous servings, the vegetables were all very fresh tasting and the chicken looked to me as only white meat which I prefer. The Tom Kha was the best we've had so far!! It was full of vegetables and we chose chicken for our protein. Even the broth alone was so so good! It comes with rice so definitely a filling meal unlike other places that I've tried. The Drunken Noodles had a perfect amount of thai basil which is always a winner! My fiance got it with chicken and shrimp level 2 spice. Everything is made without spice but you can pick a level 1-5 or just get the chili oil on the side and add more to your liking. I got the Pad Woon Sen level 1 spice with chicken and it was perfect for me.”

We purchased two 12 oz drip coffee with a cranberry/orange scone. My wife thought that the coffee was a bit strong for her, but I liked the coffee just as it was, straight out of the pot. The trio that was working behind the counter were, Edson, Nixon, and Ms. Scott and all three were very kind, friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. Would I visit this place again, you betcha and would also recommend it to others no doubt it that. Anytime, they offer law enforcement, military and/or veterans' discount I count that as a plus, plus and will more than likely not only recommend it but will surly return yet again. Not to mention that the trio behind the counter, Edson, Nixon, and Ms. Scott where very genuine and friendly and super courteous. They make a great team. “My husband and I tried Lolo’s for the first time on Sunday. We learned that when going to Lolo‘s, you want to put yourself on the waiting list on the app before walking in, we waited two hours to be seated although the music was great and food was mighty tasty. Definitely comfort food. I highly recommend chicken and fish mashed potatoes and collard greens were off the chain Not to mention the cornbread. I have to say the food was definitely worth the wait! They said i would have to switch to an almond milk latte and they could add the hazelnut and banana flavors to it. It was good! Highly recommend. I forgot to speak up and ask how much expresso was in it before they made it. I was told 2.5 shots. I didn't want to send it back to be remade. I don't know why but I didn't end up with a headache from this but the other day I got 1 single expresso shot from 7 brews and had an immediate headache after drinking about half. I can't make sense of the different reaction.”
