“Food was pretty good, service was very slow for only 2 tables and waited about 30 minutes, prices are insane because for 3 meals it was $50 not including a tip so that's kinda expensive. The average per dish was about 11-12 dollars. I think that Bluebonnet's food is better and costs less. The hash browns were also very mushy.“
“Tried this place for the first time recently. I was craving a Philly and this place came highly recommended. I had passed it for years but never stopped in. I'm glad I did. The cheese steak was soooo good. The fries are meh, but the prices are unbeatable!! Especially these days when everything is so dang expensive! I would recommend ordering ahead, otherwise you will wait a while for your order because they have so many call in orders to get to.“
“The service was not super fast and I am venturing a guess because I am not a guy which is fine; I get how the money ebbs and flows here and I do not blame the girls at all. Nature of the beast. It was decently packed by the bar area. Only had like 2 drinks. They were not very strong but thats ok because the food definitely made up for it. I would definitely come back here.“
“It's a bare bones beer and taco bar. Nothing fancy right on 7th St. It's fun for what it is. The food is good. They serve Margaritas in a plastic cup from a machine I believe ( skipped that observation somehow). The margaritas are icy and frozen and strong. Delicious on a 108⁰ day but not cuisine material otherwise. A single can of beer is $6.50! I should have brought my cooler. They have a classic red velvet cake with caramel sauce that should come with an insulin shot but people- this is a cake worth trying and it's enough for 2!All in all I didn't get to really explore their menu like usual. I went there as a meet up for after party beers. This place is not budget- friendly but you'll enjoy the no fuss atmosphere. The patio is fun EXCEPT it's right on 7th and there will be kids racing cars and bikes, honking, crossing light blinking noises and pedestrians- some are sketchy. Police had to remove a poor soul that but the manager wasn't rude to him and that was a good thing. You gotta go here at least once to experience what going to an easy going, no Frills, gathering place can be. You can walk to other local places too that are right next door. Bring your friend that has bad manners, and always wears cargo shorts and an ugly shirt bc he will fit right in!Tell me what you think.Parking: This was a Wednesday night folks and parking was STUPID. Double parked unoccupied cars and parking lot uneven with broken cement and gravel. There is additional parking in the lots next door behind other bars. Unattended and free for all style. Later parking proved better, after 9 but again, this was a Wednesday. Weekends must be ridiculous.“
“Our favorite restaurant in all of Texas. Exceptional service. Delicious food and unique menu options. Manager came to our table to invite us to be on the VIP list and shared upcoming special events. Waiter was spot on with timing and recommendations. Texas bruschetta is always a favorite appetizer. She-Crab soup was so good we asked for the recipe which the sous chef willing provided and broke down portion for us. Will return again and again.“
“Kenzie C. was a great server. It was the best service we have ever had at a twin peaks. Her along with the rest of the team made sure our meal was hot and fresh. She was very prompt and we never had to ask for anything. Our drinks were never empty. Her timing was spot on.“
“The place is great. Great vibes, great drinks and exactly what you want in a table top gaming atmosphere.Nathan was a great server, always getting back to us quickly. My only issue was the parking, maybe because I got there when it was already busy. Will definitely be coming back again.“
“The food is great. Really really great. The service is impeccable. (Shout out to Letty and Robert) You should go, and spend money, and tip well. These people are killing it. This should continue to be a treasured Ft. Worth Institution. Please take my money, and maybe please put the crawfish etouffee back on the menu?“
“I have wanted to eat at this restaurant since learning of it from an Anthony Bourdain show (think it was “No reservations”- but can’t find the episode). It was low key- and my visit was more about sharing an experience with family and homage to an admirable fellow human. The three stars are not a negative reflection of this experience for atmosphere- but a homage to Bourdain - on how he might paint a picture of a low key establishment featuring a dark and western themed corner of the west- sprinkled with a savory dust. The rabbit /rattlesnake sliders - are a “must taste” experience. My oldest son had the elk sliders (appetizers), and finally learned that chewing thoroughly (instead of wolfing) was much more enjoyable (despite taking three orders to fill him).My steak was perfect. No steak has ever been better than my own, but the prime rib being seared was definitely my preference on how the dish was served - and the seasoning used- was unique in that it brought forth and accommodated the essence of the beef.Whether a fan of Bourdain or not- everyone should have a LD experience - and accommodates any other activities might explore at the stockyards.“
“Very good food, service and always consistent on locations throughout TX and OK I've been to. This location went over the top on customizing my meal to my individual preferences. I had an awesome waitress and sorry I forgot her name or I'd post another paragraph on how fantastic she was!“
“Food was great. We got the BBQ jumbo wings, and the Buffalo chicken burger. My daughter had Mac and cheese with fries. Maria was an excellent server. She is amazing with kiddos and makes sure you get exactly what you want to eat. She has tons of recommendations and doesn’t leave you hanging. Will definitely be back.“
“If you want to give support to the aspiring chefs ( current culinary arts students) who prepare gourmet & beautifully plated cuisine! Christian based program who trains tuition free culinary arts students. You pay by donating any amount you want and it feeds all people of all socioeconomic classes. Kind staff & all the employees from hostess, table clearers, dishwashers, & wait staff volunteer. This was a special experience. I had curry carrot soup, pan seared salmon with artichokes & asparagus with caramelized carrot cake. The restaurant also helps with prayer & if you have an emergency circumstance they have programs that may be able to help. I highly recommend investing your time as well as your donations because it truly does help so many people!“
“My BFF goes there every Saturday morning. She introduced to the place. It's not fancy & it shouldn't be the TajMah hall. But it's Breakfast & Lunch. The got different size tables for different size groups. Booths, small square to big round table to fit up to 8 people. The waitress staff are friendly. If you end up going there regularly, they'll remember your regular order. It's a nice friendly place. And you don't feel like you got to hurry up & gobble your food down especially on a Saturday or a Sunday. Love this place. It's about 45mins from my ?Parking: Parking in front & sides of buildingKid-friendliness: You can put kids on chair or in booth. Don't know if highchair for little munchkins. But I wud call to make sure 1stWheelchair accessibility: All 1 level. No stairs. Tables are not close together. Have been in there with my walker and didn't have a problem. Lots of space“
“Moxies sets the bar high for neighboring restaurants and is a great example of what what makes dining in special- great food, mood setting atmosphere and service that is attentive/friendly/cares/presents well. I love that the staff are all very professionally dressed (there is definitely a specific attire aesthetic which I think is achieved tastefully). Moxies has a pretty large space and turn tables quickly even when busy, which is often. I've walked in and been told the wait is 30 minutes and get seated a lot sooner. Worth the wait either way. Their menu isn't too robust which is nice because you end up finding your favorites. Two things that I love and crave often - the sushi cones and the seared ahi ginger salad. Both are a textural experience full of punchy and delicious Asian flavors. Just yum!“
“Great food, service, great local town cafe. Very busy on the weekends but we are able to get in and out very quickly. Ordered The Scrambler, it was delicious anecdotes plenty of food for a great price. Definitely would recommend for people to go and have some great homemade breakfast.“
“My server summer was absolutely amazing. She was so quick to come by and help out party out. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and able to provide us with recommendation to maximize our budget. Would 10/10 recommend having her serve you!“
“A little too popular for its own good at times, but there's no denying why. It's exterior is a little unassuming in a generic multi-use building off of the highway (drove by it for years and never gave it much thought), but a walk inside and you'll definitely pick up what many locals already knew; this bar/restaurant means business. The dark wood finish and gold/brass give it a nice old-school fancy charm, as do the spiffy uniforms of the bartenders and wait staff. Thankfully the outfits aren't the only great thing about the staff, as almost everyone that spoke to us was very warm, friendly, and polite. We did have some trouble with our reservation, but that is most likely due to the biggest flaw of the place...its popularity.Walking into Mac's at 7pm on a Friday looks like Fat Tuesday at Razoo's...way more packed than you could have possibly imagined. Despite reservations, we were seated about 10 minutes late due to them simply not having a table for us. However, once we got the table, things went right back to great. Our server was quick on the drink orders, got us salad right away, and even gave us some time to enjoy it before getting entree orders (pro tip, if you think you might want the salad...GET the salad). I went with the grilled shrimp, and it they really mean "grilled". The barbeque smoked flavor coming off of these was superb, and the flavor was even better. My wife can't get enough of the crawfish etouffee, it's her fave dish. If you're in the area, you'd be crazy not to try it...just plan for a bit of a wait.“
“We’ve been coming here for about four years and we love it every time! The people here are really friendly and the food is really good! If you come here for breakfast get the home fries! Some of the best I’ve ever had! And I’mnot a salsa type guy but the salsa here is absolutely amazing! Also the prices are pretty good here too! We won’t stop coming here! Love it every time!“
“A fam favorite - food is fabulous- love the mexicrunch salad and pimento with saltines app! Your peach tea is sooo good. Visited twice in a week and your friendly staff so attentive. Thank you for being consistent with everything! We will be back!?“
“Today, April 23, my friend invited me to dinner a little late and our best option was Dennys since it is open 24 hours and when I arrived I found Ericka, the manager of that place for so many years, I was so happy to see her again and the The welcome he gave me since he knows my entire family for so many years that we have been customers of the same establishment where we were talking, my dinner arrived very quickly, the truth is it was a great evening for the good customer service ?? ? I have been to other locations but I'll stick with this location in particular. Thank you for everything ??“
“I rarely give 5 stars for all three categories, but I really feel I must for Towne Grill. The food was fantastic and I think the meatloaf there is the BEST I have ever had...grilled on the outside and soft on the inside with a lovely muchroom gravy. The steak salad is also very good...amazing actually. FInally, the kids mac and cheese, fried, and the deviled eggs were all delicious too. The place is very comfortable, clean and well laid out. Glad we had our anniversary dinner there!Kid-friendliness: Great kids food!“
“I needed to order a cake for someone with a VERY strict diet. DeVivo Bros. was the only place that would consider taking this vegan and dairy free cake order. They were up front with me and told me this is a first-time order but he did his research and was willing to give it a try. This cake not only turned out beautiful but was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! THANK YOU SO MUCH!“
“Loved the event! Wish we could have had more people attend, but the service and venue was so much fun and will be back!!Dietary restrictions: They have options for whatever substitutes you need.Parking: If you can't grab an open spot in front of the building there is street parking close by.“
“Service was amazing. Food is always great but ask for Naylynn! She was our server during our business lunch! She’s the best. If she recommends a dish, GO FOR IT! Everything she recommended was great! Had a great time! Thank Naylynn for making our afternoon better“
“Met a girlfriend here for lunch and we had a ball. The place is really clean, the food is so yummy (even with my restricted diet), and the decor is fab! Make sure you grab the cucumber water from their patioVegetarian options: You get to pick you protein on most things so it's easy to get exactly what you want! And everything is clearly marked if it vegetarian or veganDietary restrictions: They also clearly make their gluten free options which are numerous INCLUDING DESSERT“
“UPDATE: Things sure have gotten better. We're back to being regular customers again............... After 10 plus years, we don't eat here anymore. Our to go orders are always wrong, the service is slow, the food isn't as good as it used to be. Sad, we'll be looking for somewhere else to go.“
“Kailey T. was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal! She took such care of our food allergies, making sure to note them on the order and reviewing our food with us personally. She accommodated the many requests of our family of five with grace and ease. She was absolutely amazing to have as a server! We will definitely be back again!“
“We love BJ’s in general as a family. The food and beverages are consistently great ?Tonight’s experience was exceptionally amazing! Our bartender, Daniel, gave us samples of beers to try catered to our individual preferences and was so accommodating regarding changing the TV’s. He is an exceptionally knowledgeable salesman and so friendly. If I owned a bar I would want him working for me.Vegetarian options: We are not a vegan, but there are plenty of items for a regular vegetarian.“
“"Campfire Grill in Watauga is a hidden gem for breakfast lovers! From the moment you step in, the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel right at home. The breakfast menu offers a wide variety of delicious options, from classic favorites to unique twists. Not only is the food top-notch, but the prices are incredibly reasonable, making it a fantastic value for the quality you receive. Whether you're craving fluffy pancakes, hearty omelets, or crispy bacon, Campfire Grill delivers every time. Don't miss out on this local treasure for a satisfying and affordable breakfast experience!"“
“Great seafood. Excellent service. Drink recommendations based on our preferences we're on point. Good oysters. Tartare was great. Crab cake was all crab and so Delicious. Capellini Nero is squid ink pasta with lobster; it was so good and there was so much food we were stuffed. Diver scallops on potato cakes were the best I've ever had!“
“Slow service... Kind of takes forever for everything. It was our first time here and the entrance is confusing. Also the valet doesn't tell you to validate your parking and neither did our waiter. There was only 3 other tables aside from ours but everything was slow. They bring out Champagne complimentary but we don't drink. Still nice though. I don't think we'll be back, our favorite and usual is capital grille but we were trying to give somewhere else a shot. They also need a dessert menu it's terrible they have to recite even dessert and my the second one you've already forgot what they had. Some of us are visual. Definitely not good business in they sense“
“Today was gorgeous on the patio, Reagan did a wonderful job taking care of me. I was having a much needed me day and she elevated it by indulging me in friendly conversations. I've been here before but Today was special, wine and medi dip does a gal right!! If you want great service and the best overall experience ask for Reagan!! Thank you Press Cafe and to the amazing Ms. Reagan!! Definitely coming back for happy hour ???? ?? ????✌️? Cheers!!!“
“The best for those beautiful patio days, and even on a cold or cool day, they make sure you’re comfortable. Food is always so good and the service is amazing. Love the live music they usually have on weekends. Definitely a place you can easily become a regular.“
“I went here two times. The first time I got the farmhouse hash and plain pancakes. They were both amazing! The second time I went, I got the Florentine eggs Benedict and pancakes. The pancakes were really good. However the Benedict that was served with cold, untoasted ciabatta, the eggs were way too runny, and the potatoes were cold and not cooked all the way through. Our server was very understanding and had the dish remade. Although we requested the eggs to be medium-well, they were the same as the previous dish we were served. The server had the dish comped which we appreciated since we could not eat the dish.I do wish there were less pork options associated with various dishes.I will be back here again simply because of the friendly and respectful service.“
“Higher class dining with a Western Cowtown motif & nice bar. Valet parking downtown & a parking garage nearby. Recommended for a date night or special meal.Parking: Use Valet, the best garage is on the wrong end of a one way street under construction.“
“From the service to quality everything was 5 stars. I came in early before they opened and even the lady at the counter was nice and welcomed me to sit down while the kitchen get ready. It’s located inside a convent store but I don’t think I would want them to be in a restaurant. It’s authentic!!!!“
“We dined here for the first time before a concert at Dickie's arena and thought it was one of the very best meals we have ever had. The hospitality was on point from the moment we arrived. The restaurant is cozy and inviting. Because we knew we were going to indulge in dessert, we didn't order starters, but fully enjoyed the complimentary basket of fresh-baked muffins and bread. I decided on the carne asada with enchiladas for dinner and my husband couldn't resist ordering the chicken fried steak. Bring your appetite, because the portion sizes are huge! The food is absolutely delicious! Ordering from the dessert tray wasn't easy because everything looked amazing and our server's descriptions made our mouth's water. I ordered the West Texas pecan pie and my husband had the banana pudding. Both were out of this world! Definitely save room for dessert. You won't be disappointed!“
“We've been to Doc B's many times and the food and service have always been impeccable. It's a special place. It's expensive but the quality makes the splurge worth it. We went again on 4/23 and the service was mediocre at best. We had been seated for 30 minutes and still didn't have as much as a water. We eventually asked someone if our waiter was still alive. Br***ly our waiter really phoned it in, at least there were other support staff to bring food, full water glasses etc. It's still a wonderful place, hopefully yesterday was an anomaly.“
“Great food, affordable price, good service. The chips are the thicker ones, great for dipping or loading up nachos but I usually prefer the thin style. Definitely not a deal breaker. I would recommend it if you are in the area! Wife had enchiladas and I had fajita nachos.“
“Easy 5 stars here. There was zero wait. We had 5 adults and 3 kids and on Saturday night they got us right in. Please note they were busy too.I had the kabob with rice and my wife had a burger and we shared a baked potato. That is the best baked potato I’ve ever eaten! The atmosphere is wonderful. So many things to look at. My favorite part was the bucket of toy soldiers and a sign that said to take one and put it somewhere and when you see it pray for our military and service members. If you are ever in the area stop by! It is worth your time and money.“
“Little pub food for us to have at a place new to us…. and so close by. She had the Philly Cheesesteak with truffle fries and I had the Fish and Chips. Nice place, great food and super friendly staff. Don't let the price I listed per person throw you off - wife and I had a couple of rounds along with the good food.“
“I had the best time here!! It over exceeded my expectations!! The manager is incredible, the staff are all so kind. The vibe from start to finish was on point. The inside is small, but so nice, modern, and romantic. The patio is breathtaking at sunset, the food and drinks were delicious as well. 10/10. Will forever be coming back!! ???? the live music on the weekends is fantastic!! Can’t wait to come back.“
“Met some friends for lunch. 1st time at this location but have eaten at First Watch several times. Great for breakfast and lunch. Portions are big enough without being wasteful. My kids are picky eaters and there is always something for everyone. Everything feels so fresh and love the fresh juices available. Menu is indulgent without losing the healthy side of things. Always had great service. Recommend going early on weekends or calling ahead for waitlist. Very busy on weekends!Parking: Located in shopping center. Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu and highchairs and coloring sheets availableWheelchair accessibility: Handicap entrances and doors ans tables“
“Went in for our first time on Sunday 4/21 for brunch. Added our family to the waitlist online which was game changer. We were seated promptly about 15 minutes upon arrival. The host was very sweet, she had short, dark hair but I can’t remember her name. The atmosphere was really cool, and our server, Molly was the best! Our food was delicious, the wait was a little longer but that’s expected with how busy they were. The host sent over a strawberry shortcake pancake on the house which was so kind and made our day. Everything was absolutely delicious! The mimosas were great, and overall we just had such a wonderful experience. Our new family favorite brunch spot!“
“Dear Another Broken Egg Cafe,I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional customer service we received today at Another Broken Egg Cafe. My wife and I visited before the Houston Texans game, and our experience was truly outstanding, thanks to the excellent service provided by Willy. From the moment we were seated, Willy's warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for a delightful dining experience. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he went above and beyond to ensure that my wife and I were comfortable and satisfied throughout our meal. Not only was the food at Another Broken Egg Cafe absolutely amazing, but Willy's attentive and proactive service stood out. He consistently checked in with us, making sure everything was to our liking. As I observed him with other customers, it was clear that he extended this same level of care to everyone. Our positive experience has left a lasting impression, and we are eager to return with other family members. Please extend our gratitude to Willy for his outstanding service. Thank you for creating such a welcoming atmosphere at your restaurant.Sincerely,Lex Paxton“
“Mark was a wonderful bartender. He was our first bartender there and he was fantastic. However, we went a third time (3/22/24) and there was a woman. I unfortunately did not get her name. She served me and told me that I was being too loud. I apologized saying that I am from a loud family. I’m sensitive and cried out of embarrassment. Whenever my friend arrived and asked me how I was. I’m told them that I was told I was too loud. The bartender then came back and accused me too of acting like I was 12 and Making her a villain. I assured her that I never spoke a bad word about her just repeated that she told me I was too loud. I was embarrassed. I didn’t feel welcome and we attempted to pay but she said to not worry about the drink.I don’t understand what happened or why she was mad that I told my friend what she told me . I no longer feel welcome at my favorite whiskey bar. My fiends tried talking to her to understand the friction and called her out on her rudeness simply by asking her why she was taking digs at me. They didn’t appreciate the situation. She didn’t have to keep insulting me/putting me down. I just needed a moment to process my embarrassment I already apologized for.“
“Celebrated my dad 61st birthday with our great Friend. Luis has a kind heart and is always thinking of others! His Kindness is the reason we always come back and ask for him! Ask for Luis you won’t regret it!! Luis is someone you can consider as Family!“
“First time here. Friendly and attentive service from all the staff. We got the gator bites, hush puppies (best i’ve ever had), butterfly shrimp and fried catfish, which were all amazing! They gave us a small discount due to a minor hiccup in the order, but they made sure to accommodate us. We will be back to explore more of the delicious menu!“
“I really enjoy my burger. Also, it the meal came with fries and a drink. Which is a bonus because most places are starting to do a la carte, and it's making everything expensive. I will be back.Parking: They have a limited amount of parking spots, due to it being attached to a gas station.“
“Decent steak. My only complaint was we had a 25 minute wait even though I could see at least 7 empty tables and there was only 1 couple in front of us. About 12 customers left shortly after our arrival and there was still another 15-20 minute delay. When we were seated there were about 10 empty tables. But is about the nicest restaurant we have in Haltom. Recomend the center cut filet and the loaded baked potato. The peach cobbler and ice cream were good.“
