“The food is very good and the staff is friendly too. I was there last weekend and they sang happy birthday to me and I got a pancake. They made my day. I was impressed with cashier employee Rebecca how she remembered my name from the day before. She's super busy at the register but like the other employees she remembers the customers. Thank you All for everything.
God bless All the Blanquitas restaurants, their employees, and their customers.
Parking: If the parking lot is full there's parking on the side of the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: It's nice to see kids with their families enjoying their meal.
Wheelchair accessibility: This available for our disabled and our elderly. Thank you.“

“Don't compare the food to the location or building. Thisis probably some of the best food in the valley, Bean and Egg reminds me of home cooking, made with much love in some of the dishes they serve. I always recommend this place to everyone“

“Heading back from South Padre we decided to give this place a shot. It's a simple restaurant with a small menu. The food was amazing! I ordered chilaquiles and a picadillo with cheese taco on the side. When the food came out, WOW! The taco was huge! It was at least 12 inches long and nice and full. The chilaquiles and picadillo was so good. I highly recommend giving this place a shot for breakfast.“

“This evening I found the beef fajitas delicious, the beans delicious, and the rice delicious. Unlimited tortilla chips and they give you as many tortillas as you want. We never have a bad meal there. In fact, it's always pleasant and excellent.“

“No Frills outdoor restaurant with outstanding food.
Honestly, that restaurant's name almost kept me away but the great reviews led me to try it.
And more importantly, the food will keep me coming back. Very fresh and hot, and beautiful presentation on the torta.
It was so good, I'm trying the Juan Foot Torta next time.
I travel for work and eat out a lot of restaurants, this is my new go-to when I'm in Harlingen.“

“To Jeanie and her staff at Panchito’sYou have managed to become the BEST part about Harlingen. Through overcoming what Covid through at you, to reopening with limited staff, pushing through what life throws at you, the economy and it rising prices and now to your sister battling cancer(and she will persevere).Establishments like you are what we need in this town….in this world. For those that have never been, yes they are curbside. But in no way does that stop them from serving you the best, freshest food, with a smile. The food is just like grandma makes. It just makes you feel all warm and cozy, while certainly filling up the belly. My family and I love to order from here and we try to as often as we can. We love to support our local hidden gems and this restaurant is a GEM.I was compelled to write this review, because of a post on Facebook. Someone complaining of the prices of a fajita taco and they can get a better deal at Stripes. Psshh…..I DON”T THINK SO!! You cannot compare a homemade taco to a stripes taco, no way. Prices for food have skyrocketed to an unimaginable high. Gas is ridiculous! Adjustments have to be made and therefore prices must go up. They have families that depend on them. Have I ordered a fajita taco from Panchito’s…yes I have. It was the best and freshest fajita taco that I have ever had, at any local restaurant. Though I must say, the carne guisada on the large 16 inch tortilla, with rice, beans, lettuce and tomato, is my absolute favorite. The 16 inch carne guisada taco, on the menu is $18.99 and the 9 inch is $10.99. Is that too much for a taco? Not really. Is it worth it? 100% YES!! Will I order it again? ABSOLUTELY!!You pay for the quality of the food, the heart that goes into the cooking, the smile and warm greeting when it’s brought out to you. I will come back over and over again. In fact, I had Panchito’s for lunch today. I had their lunch special of Calabaza con Pollo and it was THE BEST! I may sound like I am over exaggerating but my taste buds don’t lie….and neither does my belly. With that said, Jeanie, THANK YOU. Thank you for providing your customers with excellent food and service. Thank you for all the sacrifices you have made to keep moving forward and providing Harlingen with the best homemade food. Thank you for being the light for the community and helping others in need. THANK YOU!Panchitos’ is the BEST part about Harlingen. Panchito’s IS Harlingen.“

“Nothing fancy here. This is the working man's restaurant.Alicia's is in an old building in an old part of town, but don't let that dissuade you from giving it a try.We stopped in for breakfast after attending our grandson's graduation ceremony at MMA.The menus that are brought to the table are much smaller than I ever expected, with the daily specials on one side and three items on the other. But the waiter ensured us they could fix us anything. The positives:The coffee was absolutely some of THE BEST coffee I've ever had.The salsa was on freakin point! The corn chips were deep fried corn tortillas, which may seem lazy to some, but they were fried to a perfect crispness! And in fact they did fix exactly what we asked. The negatives? The Charro beans were a little salt for me, but that's really about it.All in all a really good experience and someplace I'd visit again if I'm ever down there again. And the best part was the final bill. . . . . . . Breakfast for two with a couple coffees was a whopping $16!“

“Breakfast was amazing. At a neighboring table a man order simply bacon and eggs. I had the Freddy Special and the eggs were amazing. I could have simply had the eggs and bacon. The plate was amazing. Get that chef and sign them to big ol’ fat contract! Loved the place!“

“This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the valley. Everything is taste and the prices are not high. We got an agua de horchata and an agua de melón. We got nichos with cheese and steak as an apetizer. The. We got a torta and a hige chicken taco which name I cannot remember. We were also served charro beans in the beginning. Everything came out to forty something dollars. Everything taste good including the drinks. What I also like is that they close until 10pm and they only close Sundays. When ever I go pick up my sister and brother in lawn at the harlingen airport we go eat st Taqueria Jalisco.“

“During a day trip to Harlingen we stopped in this little restaurant for breakfast. It doesn't have a very extensive menu, but the upside is a super friendly staff and great food! Seems to be a family business, very informal. We requested a business card which referred to the place as the Pastry House. And yes, they do have a case full of great-looking pastries... plenty of cupcakes and regular sized cakes. On Google Maps it shows up as the City Coffee Shop, which has only two reviews on TripAdvisor. TripAdvisor does not list Pastry House at all, so the name may have changed just recently. We encourage you to stop in, enjoy a meal, and grab a cupcake or two.“

“Came in for a late lunch and thought the place was brilliant. It's not a new place all shiny & pristine. It's the classic taqueria with just kick you in the butt good food. The menu isn't big, but the flavors are. I had the four tacos and almost wept I enjoyed it so much. The meal came with two ketchup bottles of salsas: Red Hot and Yellow Hot. The small bowl of limes was brilliant and a great add to the tacos. There was also a small bowl of the most sublime charro/pinto beans. I could have stopped there. The tortillas on the tacos & the grilled onions made it an absolutely special meal. Finally, the side was a loaded baked potato! Unique and it was a brilliant taste. Don't let the outside scare you away, this is a true blue taqueria.“
“My son was never in daycare before so headstart was his first time away from me all day.I must say this was an absolute wonderful experience! My son and I LOVED this place so much, his teacher Mrs. Salinas was so very patient with him, and he learned so much from her. I loved the communication to help my son adjust to school routine and school behavior.I'm sad that he will not be here next year. It's hard to find a great teacher and teachers assistant, and it's sad when your child has to move on to the next grade.Thank you Mrs Salinas and ALL of Casa Grande for building my son's educational foundation. I surely won't forget any of you and thank you for making a huge difference in these kids lives. You all give your whole heart and all your love and it truly shows? My son will miss you and honestly so will I. ?“

“The nice open seating is great if you don’t mind the occasional traffic. The food was good but expensive. We paid $51 for two orders of 6 tacos, two baked potatoes and two sodas. The food was fresh and warm. Overall a great meal.
Parking: Its right next to the facility
Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheel chair ramp to the main concrete pad where the tables are at.“

“I have been going to this restaurant for decades. Now, when I come for a visit, I always make sure to eat a meal here. You can't go wrong with ANYTHING you choose to eat. But my favorite are their nachos... I ask for the cheese to be burned (quemadito) ever so slightly, and they get it right every single time!!!“
