“We went as a large group: two families meeting part way and neither from the area. It was wonderful to be able to have options for our dairy free and gluten free family. Not only did we have options but the food was very good. We had so many things : pizza, pasta, egg roll, plantain nachos, and yucca fries. We were a little loud (6 kids under 10) but the service was kind and patient -- even when one spilled a full glass of water . They even took a picture of us as a group and made sure my boys were smiling. Overall --- great food, excellent service and overall good experience . We hope to make it back there if we ever are in town again !“

Because after far too long, I finally made it here, and it was worth the wait. --- --- --- I discovered Crumbville over a year ago and it just never worked out for me to stop in and visit. Despite it not being super close by where we at lunch, I made it a point that it finally had to happen. And why did I wait so long?? When we first walked in, there was a line of people waiting to pay for what they'd picked out. But, the owner, despite being busy with all of these people, still greeted us and was going over all of the different options in the store, while she was ringing up people in line. When we made it to the front of the line, she could not have possibly been a friendlier human. It's no wonder the reviews here are so amazing, because even if you don't absolutely love the goodies, you can't help but enjoy coming in here. As for what we bought: Mayniac Munch = 4.5 stars. Red velvet, chocolate chip pecan cookie dough & oreos. This was solid when we snacked on a couple bites in the car, but so amazing when we got home and heated it up a little bit. Best of Both Worlds = 4.5 stars. Fudge brownie topped with chocolate chip pecan cookie dough and cream cheese. This was my wife's choice and something I wasn't super excited about. But I took one bite and next thing I knew, I had eaten half of it! Butter ThickHER Thana Snicker = 5 stars. Moist Butter cake with our Signature ThickHER Thana Snicker cookie (rich chocolate dough filled with peanuts, chocolate, Caramel, nougats & popcorn) baked inside. This was absolutely stupid good. 5 stars doesn't do it justice. How about 15? The icing was amazing too. And the best part was that I didn't feel awful after eating it. I don't know what she puts in this stuff to not give me an immediate stomach ache full of regret afterward, like most baked goods, but it's heaven. I will not wait 14 months to make my next visit, I promise you that.“
“Came here on a whim with a vegan friend who raves about this place. And went crazy. Got the blueberry, banana walnut and the lemon poppy muffins. The lemon poppy was by FAR my favorite. It was moist with the perfect lemony flavor. The icing is not super sweet and complements the muffin. The blueberry was good and flavorful and then the banana walnut. There was a chunk of banana in it which gave me finger vibes wish it was chopped up more. For that reason I didn't finish the muffin. And it was the end of the banana with the black tip. The strawberry shortcake cookie combo was really good. The chocolate chip cookie and strawberries were blended perfectly. All in all it was great and I'm gonna come back for the breakfast pizza and the grandma cookies.“

They have various options for protein meat-substitutes, including jackfruit, pastor, and soy-rizo and potatoes, with my favorite being the spicy soyrizo and potatoes. My favorite item that I tried was the Cashew Cheese Nachos (first time trying vegan cheese as well), which come in a HUGE portion and can easily be shared or multiple meals. Although the portions were generous, the excessive oiliness overshadowed the flavors and enjoyment. On the positive side, the ambiance was cozy, and the staff was kind and friendly. “We have ordered food every week for the past almost year. Everything we have ordered has been exceptional! We have used the catering for a 4th of July party that also had meat barbecue. There were 4 guests who were vegan, all the rest were meat eaters We had nothing left of Jana’s vegan food - the meat eaters also ate the vegan food. I am so glad they liked it but we had so much meat left over I told my husband that we need to remember that for the future- we will always ask Jana to cater our parties ( in addition to ordering weekly-we are dependent on that) but maybe leave the meat off since they wanted her food as opposed to the meat. Many of the meals at this place have fake meats which I do not eat as I've never eaten meat. They were able to cater to my needs by not using any of these. Let me just tell you, this place is top notch!Every dish ordered by my family was excellent.The tacos were an excellent choice to try a variety of their vegan protein options. I tried 5. The tinga was probably my favorite, but the pastor, barbacoa, and carnitas were close behind, while my least favorite was a potato based, and it was good, but the others were amazing. Oh, and I cannot forget the beans served with them. This could easily be overlooked, but rocked!!The chimichanga was just slightly on the salty side, but for a deep fried burrito it pretty much was awesome.The mole enchiladas were something else. That mole sauce was delicious.Finally the quesadillas were massive. My 18 year old son, who can eat a ton said he was more full eating that than anything in recent memory.This is probably the 2nd best vegan Mexican food I've ever had. “Trying to convert my husband to semi vegan or maybe after today all the way vegan. When we got there I was so excited because we just went to a previous vegan restaurant and they didn’t have what we wanted and I have been craving jackfruit so we went in there and thanks to Irene and Tony it was one of the most pleasant and great experiences ever as a restaurant whether vegan or meat. The food in there was so awesome that I can tell you now if there was a competition and they just put sample A and B you would not know the difference for people who really know about flavor that’s very important if you from the south well let me just tell you it’s not sodium flavored it is flavor flavor and it was awesome and then he brought out samples like grits you think such and such has great grits why don’t you just go try their grits. And the most important thing is that Tony is an artist and he’s passionate about his craft and according to him he can make anything vegan so if you’re going to say you want a brisket let Tony show you he will convert that to a vegan brisket and it’s going to taste even better and he’s just up-and-coming so I recommend everybody who wants flavoring even if you just try or sample vegan for the first time I promise you you’ll be hooked and you’ll be back like we will greatest. “I ordered a little bit of everything because I wanted to try the whole menu. I narrowed it down to things that I thought were unique/wish they were vegan when I see them at a non vegan restaurant. First I’ll start off with the Buffalo drumsticks. You can find boneless vegan wings but it is hard to find a vegan drumstick and these were everything I could hope and dream of. I dipped them in their vegan ranch (the perfect combo). The texture was just like a chicken wing. I’m not sure how they do it but they were delicious! Next I ordered the vegan fried shrimp I thought I was eating real shrimp! I was in shock the taste, the texture, it was wild! I couldn’t believe it was vegan. They were so good! I had to get an order of fried pickles. I always want fried pickles but they’re never vegan. These were fried pickle chips they were battered perfectly, had a nice crunch and I dipped them in their vegan ranch it was exactly what I was looking for! I don’t have a photo of the crunchy tacos because I ate them and forgot to take a photo! I ordered the bean, cheese, lettuce and taco sauce ones. They are the perfect little snack and only $1.69 for two. For dessert I ordered the banana pudding shake and it was amazing. It was so creamy and had chunks of real banana in it. I was obsessed! If you are in Houston make sure you stop by and check them out. They are very fast and it’s so cute inside I had to take a photo of their lookin’ like a snack wall. “They have very tasty and affordable vegan and vegetarian Chinese food here.My favorite place for vegetarian food is probably San San Tofu on the Vietnamese side, but this place is good as well and has more options for baked goods and breads. Not that much seating but probably enough for 14 or so people total with very casual seating. I’ve only gotten take out here so far though and tried about 5 different dishes my favorite is the Taiwanese “pork” rice (滷肉飯) and the rice noodle stir fry.There’s a restroom upstairs for the plaza you can take the stairs or elevator or escalator up. The store is located in the plaza but you can’t see it from the outside since this like more like a mall building.5% charge if you use credit card but no extra fee if you pay cash or Venmo I believe. Sometimes they pick up the phone and sometimes they don’t but the cooked food is pretty fast regardless.“
