I wore a complicated outfit and the nice female manager assisted me in the bathroom with my clothes and engaged me in conversation, and she ensured that my dining experience was amazing!!!!! I came all the way from Virginia to eat at MiCocina since I had it years ago, and I will definitely be back!!!!!!”

The owner always comes by and says hi to us. Another thing I love about them the owner never says anything about my youngest bring outside food. My kid has autism so it’s hard to find places to eat where they allow us to enjoy a meal as a family. I love them for that. And the young gentleman cook 👨‍🍳 that always is so sweet and know what we want from the moment we walk in the door 🚪 thanks you for taking amazing care of us. He a staple in the restaurant I’ve seen him ever since we started coming and now it has been two years coming. Thank you guys for the amazing eats and love you show us.”

We had to ask for a couple specific pizzas to be brought to our table because they hadn't been offered while others were brought multiple times. 2. They don't inform you of their auto-gratuity policy when checking in for your reservation, nor upon giving you the bill. I would have expected better service when you're predetermining your own tip. 3. We also were asked to vacate our table for the next reservation while we were still actively spending money on after dinner drinks. These are all simple fixes on their end and I hope they can communicate better in the future.”

I enjoyed my food with a hot green tea and some water (I know it’s 100 degrees outside ) but something about some hot tea and this kind of food just goes well. “Five stars. Haraz gave me exactly what I want from a coffee shop: something distinctive, beautifully presented, and worth remembering.

I ordered the Sana’ani, a black coffee infused with cardamom. It was rich, fragrant, and smooth, with the cardamom complementing the coffee instead of covering it. I enjoyed it so much that I bought one of their coffee cups.

Then came the desserts: a silky matcha dome cake, warm Bee Bites filled with cream cheese and drizzled with honey, and a creamy coconut cheesecake coated in coconut and finished with a tiny dried rose. All three were excellent.

The entire shop is warm and inviting, with beautiful Yemeni-inspired details throughout. Everything felt intentional, from the atmosphere to the presentation. This was my first visit, and it definitely will not be my last.”

The worker immediately returned with rice and did not charge us. I had the chicken taco plate and my husband had beef tacos. All the food was delicious. The green sauce was spicy just like I like it.
