“Dropped my brother off at IAH one morning and wanted to grab coffee before heading off to work. Found Cafe La Luna on Google, a couple of miles south of the airport. Perfect. According to the signage outside, they recently opened. The interior is partially dark and modern (but not cold, if that makes sense; the wood and brick interior and lighting really offset the charcoal-colored walls and give it warmth). Signage around the store is in both Spanish and English. Even at 7-8am, people were already there studying, working on their computers, and meeting up with people for breakfast. I got a cold brew and a marquesita (think a soft, rolled up waffle cone crepe) filled with strawberries and topped a layer of Nutella on top. Delicious. Wish I took a picture before I scarfed it down. Very nice ambience. Would love to stop by again if I'm ever in the area to do some remote work and to chill. Also, I was a huge fan of the tiling work done in the bathroom. Kudos to whoever you contracted.“

“Chose this coffee spot as a place to chill before our flight out of houston. Floored on the food - the Chinese sausage tacos were amazing. The tortillas were just right, good portions, right amount of heat, sweet, and texture. Best breakfast taco I've ever had. Wish i had more time in Houston to try their whole menu! “I was feeling like a Cuban sandwich for today's lunch, so I sent the hubby out to grab one. I also asked to try a mini Ropa Vieja sandwich as well because the description had me curious. Both sandwiches were delicious! They came with a side of some sort of hot sauces. One was a green (tomatillo?) type and the other was a fiery orange (habanero?) Even though I could only handle a few drops of the latter, both sauces complimented the sandwiches well. And the regular sized Cuban was huge! I regretted not ordering a second mini instead, as it was actually also larger than I'd expected. My mother ordered the same Cuban sandwich but also a side of the plantains. The description said they were fried, and I saw a misleading image online from a guest that lead me to believe they were breaded. However, the ones we were given had no breading (which I didn't mind, honestly) and were coated in what I think was cinnamon and sugar. It was a lovely little dessert. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. I will return for more food in the future!“

“This is a hidden gem in Pasadena! It is a quaint cafe with AMAZING food! My boyfriend and I started with the brisket loaded fries….absolutely delicious! I had the grilled turkey and spinach panini and I added avocado and my boyfriend had the sycamore 2s which came with 2 eggs, 2 of your choice of meat, and 2 pancakes. The pancakes were divine and melted in your mouth. The service was great as well. Our waitress was very attentive even though they had a full house (literally…the cafe is a house ?). You have to check this place out. The grounds are beautiful. They also have a bed and breakfast and a wedding venue onsite.Parking: Nice size parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp for those in a wheelchair.“

“Don't want to make a biased post due to the fact that I DJ at this establishment, but from a customer's standpoint I would say that the atmosphere is great. The crowd is mixed with both young and old as well as the music which consists of blues, zydeco, r&b, and hip hip/ rap closer to the end of the night. Friday nights is a packed house. Saturday night is a great chill time. Sunday night plays host to the battle off the DJs. So if your ever in the area Friday/Saturday night stop by and you will find me DJ Lil Tay on the 1s and 2s.“

“I come here a lot to watch unique shows and go to amazing festivals. I have a great time with my partner and I really enjoy the service here. The workers are very nice and I enjoy their coffee. I really love the kombucha on tap and if you like to drink, this place is cool. They have karaoke night sometimes and you should really follow their Instagram if you want updates.
