“The best food establishment in Los Fresnos. If you are ordering for yourself, order the “Combo.” For $10.99, you get Chicken, Fajita, Sausage and sides of Rice and mashed potatoes with corn tortillas. The taste is exceptional. My wife wasn’t a big fan of the wing flavor, but I enjoyed them. A regular stop for me now.“

“This is my second trip to Angels in los Fresnos. I wanted to see if they had consistency with their food and their staff and the atmosphere so two times they’ve pulled it off outstandingly. I highly recommend as you drive from Port Isabel, or the island to the highway stop by Angels and have a great meal meal.“

“I wrote my college thesis on this place, due to it being the best restaurant within 15,000 miles (yes that covers the entire world)and the topic of my college thesis was:"How good can a restaurant get? The Texi Mexi Story"This place might as well be placed on Fifth Avenue in New York City, with prices of $30 per taco, because that's what most people would be willing to pay for this place after they have tried their tacos. Thank Heavens it isn't in New York where all the pretentious foodies would be lining up around the block for what many believe to be the best tacos in Los Fresnos. The prices though... I mean you can't beat 6 dollars for a meal of several tacos, charro beans and chips and salsa, I mean (in the voice of Jimmy from South Park) come on!I come to this place quite often, and by quite often I mean several times a week. I walk in the door, the manager behind the counter gives me a quick wink (not in any weird sexual way, more like a "i'm ready to rock your tastebuds kinda way") I sit down and he automatically knows I want the fajita combo with an horchata. I sit for 5.2 minutes (the perfect amount of time for someone to wait, enough time to think about how you're currently in heaven, but not enough to think it's taking long for your food). Juicy, greasy (in a damn good way) meat on delicious tortillas covered in white cheese, avocado and your choice of red or green salsa. Damn! You've arrived my friends... you've arrived.Anyway to top off my review, I got a 110/100 on my college thesis, you know why? My professor thought it was a dumb topic, gave me a 68/100, and then drove all the way from Idaho to the valley to try these tacos, as soon as he took that first bite, he changed it to 110%. “The closest thing to Mexican food in Taquitos, but I think these are tastier because they add avocado and in Mexico they don't, just cilantro and onion, in this place if you pay with a credit or debit card they charge you a 3% commission. Which I think is not fair because the merchants have to pay for it, the service is super good and friendly, the food tastes good.
