Things are in transition and I don't love using paper plates/utensils, but the food is awesome, the staff is Texas friendly/amazing, and the setting is charming. In a short time -- when the word is out and if perhaps alcohol is on the menu, I wouldn't be surprised to see this place hopping every night. Excited to go back!“

“My youngest daughter and I took a trip to Austin yesterday to shop at Fiesta and HMart and try out food truck Kiin Di. The food was great. We had the killer noodles, old school pad Thai and the dang curry with blk lemonade Chai tea. As i said before the food was really great.The staff is customer service focused. We will be back.“

“Finally tried this place, and WOW. Had the Pad Ka Proa Beef, Chicken Roasted Chili Noodle, Pork Eggrolls, and everything was amazing. Level 4 spice, and the guy recommended adding some garlic fish sauce he put on the side. Hands down the best Thai food around!!!“

“It's crazy how fast they bring out the food. Even when they are at 100% capacity, they bring out the food almost before I've even done ordering. The food is also great, I drive over 30 mins just for this location. I won't even drive 15 mins to see my friends (14.5mins is my limit), but this place is worth it.“

“I had the Shrimp Pad Thai, and it's been a while since I finished a Pad Thai dish. The shrimp were slightly overcooked, but still very good overall.The Thai Chive Dumplings were also very yummy by themselves, but even better with the provided thick dipping sauce.I will be back to sample the Tom Kha Gai (Chicken Coconut Soup) which will be ultimate Thai food test.“

“Mai Thai has some of the best Thai food I have ever had. My husband and I got the pad Thai and yellow curry, both with tofu and they were amazing. Especially the yellow curry! We also got the crispy spring rolls and fried tofu and both were great. We are both vegan and they were happy to accommodate. Lots of vegan options! Service was great. If we lived in Austin, we would frequent here.“

“I wish I took a photo but ate it all before I could. The food was fast but the portions are super tiny. That's my only real complaint. Another Thai place I go to isn't as good and doesn't have as many options but they do give you more portions. So it lasts me longer. So while I do like Madam Mam's, I probably won't order from them often due to portion size.“

They only do takeout but you're welcome to get takeout and eat at one of their tables (so essentially dine in just eating from the to-go containers). The restrooms were very clean. I ended up ordering something away from my comfort zone, I'd usually go for a pad Thai or pad see ew, but I went ahead and ordered the red curry and the coconut soup. Very delicious, good portion. I definitely love the counter service they've got going on, there's a self-serving station so you can help yourself to sauces and waters. You can either go ahead and order at the counter, or take a seat at one of the tables and order from the sticker they have on the tabletop. Your food will just magically appear after ordering, which is amazing. Very good spot for studying, I would definitely come in and do remote work here, it's got coffee shop vibes.“
