It was absolutely perfect from the decadent Brioche bun, the rich crispy but light batter, the juicy chicken, perfectly sweet slaw and sauce with JUST the right amount of heat. When they sat it in front of me I didn't think I could eat it all it was so large.... but it was TOO PERFECT to not enjoy the entire thing. I only wish they were in Austin also. If your ANYWHERE within an hour of this place, it's worth the drive. The employees were also delightful, cheerful and appreciative. 50 STARS!!”

“If you haven’t visited Pollo Bravo, you need to stop what you’re doing a run here! The minute you walk into the restaurant you are greeted with a warm welcome. You can pick wherever you’d like to sit, and the waitress will bring you a menu. We usually start with the green plantains and the crispy taquitos. Each time I come (which is quite often), I try something different. Their food is always fresh and made to order. Their prices are fair and the quality of their food is out of this world! They are also family friendly, and have a kid’s menu. I have yet to be disappointed and I know you will feel the same, so the next time you are wanting to try something different bring your entire family!”

“Today was a nice day and I decided to go to Mikkis for my Seniors dinner. When I arrived a staff member opened the door for me. Then the lines was not jammed. My order was placed and the staff were prompt in responding. The turkey wings are fall off the bone good. The gravy is just the right consistency. The mashed potatoes are so creamy and delicious. The cabbage is fresh and sweet as candy. The yams, my goodness, can anyone do yams like this restaurant. Absolutely not. The cornbread is such a good texture, it is almost like cake. The staff has changed to a more friendly and polite team. Always enjoy my visits here.”

“I had lunch here yesterday and sat in the bar with a friend. The food was very good (as usual), but the service was fantastic. Darnesha was very attentive, and checked on us the perfect amount of time. This is probably the best service I have gotten at this location. I highly recommend.”

“We went on a Thursday and had the all u can eat shrimp and fish. Biggest shrimp I’ve seen a long time and the catfish was thick n juicy!!! Fries were crispy and seasoned. The oysters were huge as well. Great happy hour deals and Devin at the bar was a great server/bartender. Everything he recommended was on point, music was great and he gave us good info for our next visit. Will definitely be back !!!!!”

“Killen’s Pearland location is fantastic. However I want to focus my comments on the Woodlands location which is nearest to me. That location needs an intervention. Here’s my review of it: I really wanted to give this location a chance because the drive to the original location in Pearland is so far. Sadly, the last three visits have been disappointing. This time around we asked for their best offering and were told beef ribs. We got two of them. The first bite, with the outer bark was great, but below the surface it quickly became tough and dry. A beef rib cooked to Killin’s standard (& prices) should not be like that. Fortunately, there is another Killen’s in Cypress that seems to be more promising. Service and atmosphere were good, it’s just a quality issue. This location is not living up to the Killen’s reputation and my harsh rating is reflective of that.”

“We did not have a good waitress. We had to ask for the bread, the food took a long time and it was just warm and the tortillas in the soup were soggy when it was brought to our table, so the food was sitting for a long time. We had to ask for water refills.”

“It was four minutes till opening, we had walked in man I was with is 80yrs old. Told we couldn't sit at a table or bar just to wait outside on bench. We left not at all happy couldn't believe we couldn't stay inside. Forget their Rules, we ate at a more welcoming restaurant.”

“Overall good food. Probably best in Pearland when it comes to Chinese food. Take food to-go each visit. Never ate inside. Every time I come here to pick up food - it’s fresh and hot. No complaints. Staff is kind and communicate any delays with orders.

Parking: Parking is plenty here.”

They were very nice but, I was made to park in a drive thru spot while in a hurry, (only MY frustration), then they left out a whole Big Breakfast and had to go back to get it. I thought I had all of the order, (because there was a bag with grease on it that I thought were the hash browns, that ended up being utensils), Upon arriving at my destination, there was only one hash brown with the Big Breakfast that they had to go back for...hrm... (a bit erked about that)! So, no hash browns with our breakfast for two of us! 🤨”

“Whataburger is usually always on point. Even this visit wasn’t so bad nevertheless I can’t help but acknowledge the fact that my burger was prepared with precooked patties. You can tell they were in a warmer as my cheese wasn’t fully melted. I’m a huge fan of Whataburger, so it doesn’t excite me to leave this review, but for the burger I received today, I could’ve gone to Burger King n got on a promotional. For what’s its worth, they were fast!”

“I came on New Year’s Eve and of course they were short staffed but the workers were trying their best! The lady at the first window was so nice and the guy that was working the front was so passionate about getting the food out on time, I was so appreciative. I wish I got their names but I already had a long night out. But night shift on 1/1/25 was great! Your hard work is not unnoticed!”

Finally, a REAL sushi restaurant that has impeccable service, attention to detail, and flavor to satisfy everyone in the Pearland / Manvel area! Every peice of sushi we had was incredible, and the service from Nathan was top notch as he was professional, yet down to earth with a great personality. This will be our new go to sushi spot to replace the sushi restaurant across from the HEB on 288 that gets you sick, and the other one off 288 that has three letters with horrible flavor that tastes low grade! None of them can even come close to competing with Yamamori! Y’all, THE LINE WAS OUT THE DOOR to be seated at a table so we sat at the bar on our second visit!! They flawlessly balance all of their to go orders while serving the main floor (we know because we sat at the bar)!

We will be back at least once a week, so thank you Yamamori!”

“This is the first time we've been in since the change in ownership and since we moved away. The atmosphere was more docile than I remember. Usually going in there was chatter everywhere, the baristas laughing with customers and customers talking with each other. It was just very quiet and everyone with their heads down in their own worlds. Sausage egg taco was very good and huge. The parfait was really good and they added honey to it for me with no issue. We got the Magnolia and Morning Glory. Neither disappointed. Coffee is just as good as before and I love the change in variety as well. Overall still a really great coffee shop and we will be back when we are in the area.”

“We came in this past Saturday for lunch, they were so busy (which is nice to see!) but still delivered amazing service. I ordered the Shrimp Curry Ramen, and my husband got chowmein. We also got a side of steamed mix veggies for our son. Food was outstanding! Veggies were soooo good, as well as the ramen and chowmein. I have been here a few times over the years but we are now making it a regular spot!”

“Been in the area for years and never knew about this gem ?. Was recommended and thats the only reason I took the risk because Houston crawfish doesn’t measure to real L.A. crawfish! I knew it would be pressure cause the owner let me try two before purchase. It was everything. I haven’t had good crawfish in a minute (not even in New Orleans). Seasoned but not overly spicy, good sausage, and the potatoes had a kick to em. I got the Friday special and got full off them twice. Run, don’t walk!”

Lobster raviolis after a while the richness of the sauce began to taste salty. The Brad brought to the table was mediocre. We had also ordered the artichoke and spinach dip - way too much cheese and not enough spinach. We did have ask for a wine list. We may return but it may be our back up dinner plan place to go to. The restaurant is cute and all but rather crowded and tables are rather close to each other.”

“I was here for lunch on Sunday 02-16-2025. It wasn't very busy, so I was seated right away. I didn't appreciate my location near the entrance to the restrooms, since there were no odors, I didn't make a fuss. My waiter Issack was very courteous and helpful. The restaurant section that I sat in appeared clean. I ordered a house salad with white vinegarett dressing. The wild west shrimp, and a house margarita. Of course I was served warm bread and butter. Everything was good, the food, service etc.
