“I highly recommend their breakfast tacos especially the taco loco with egg it is so filling. If you go for lunch try the chicken fried chicken plate or their enchiladas. The homemade salad with chips and cafecito always hits the spot too. Customer service is excellent as well.“

“I'll be honest, the food isn't to die for, but it's to live for. Lol. If you're looking for a good burger joint, Salazar is the place to go. Customer service and atmosphere were 5+ stars. Defenatly looking forwards to going back and tasting other dishes. Good job Salazars!PS: The prices were not bad at all for the amount of food. Really decent price. I saw a bad review in regards to pricing, that person is totally wrong. $25 bucks for 2 full meals and we were extra full. Cant beat that. The other day, I paid $15 at Subway for a meal.“

“I had a wonderful, huge avocado burger with cheese (American being the only option). Three of us shared a $5 order of what were the best onion rings I've ever had. Light, crispy batter. Simply scrumptious. My only gripe was that the soft drinks came in a can for $2/each. I always need refills and expect them to be free. My sister had the daily chicken fried steak special and said that it was very good.“

“First time here, and I will say the place is located off the main streets, but the food was really good. The price was great also. There was 4 of us and the check plus tip was about 45 dollars. It might not be a fancy high dollar place, but it was well worth going to.“

“Food was good and affordable but the waitress was extremely rude. She had a bad attitude towards my M-I-L and myself, not bringing us a drink we ordered and much more. Overall, the atmosphere is very homey and the food is good, but the service was not it.“

“Don't let the school room tables and chairs fool you. Breakfast here is delicious. I mean Delicousssss. I had Juevos Rancheros and a pancake on the side, my partner had sausage egg and cheese tacos with a side of beans. Both of us had coffee. Let me tell you, everything was homemade and fresh. I would go there and recommend to anyone. I have not been for lunch or dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive. I wish they had coffee cups that were ceramic and didnt use plastic spoons but that will not deter me from returning (silverware is given for the food). The best breakfast in the Valley i.m.o.“

“Nancy's Cafe is one of those secret hole in the walls you secretly wish no one else would find out about because their food is so good and that selfish part of you wants it all to yourself. I have been going here for years as I live close to it and every Sunday morning you see the same regulars. This place has great food, great home made tortillas. Great muenudo. Great ambiance for a little cozy restaurant. The service is very responsive and they keep you topped up on coffee ☕️.“

“This place is super chill and totally reminds me of a speakeasy. It has such a friendly and cool vibe. They have a variety of beer and wine and it's a great place to relax. It's also dog friendly which I thought was the best feature to this place. Yuma definitely approves.“
“Great place, delicious snacks and the ladies that serve you the snacks are really friendly. Try the agua de horchata is the best in all RGV!!!! Also try the ice cream, mexican style and totally delicious. Piece of advice, leave the diet for another meal because you'll going to want to eat everything.“

“All the food at Martha's is made fresh and the food servings is the biggest in RIO Grand valley TX, price of food is reasonable and there fried ice cream is so big you better have 4 people eat it, you want go wrong by eating at Martha's. Open Monday through Saturday 7am to 7 PM.“
“Polish up on your espanol because this place is about as authentic you will find without going to Mexico. I secretly want to go in the back and look for an abuelita cranking away. Everything is freshly house made, even the tortillas. A bit off the beaten path, but worth the exit off the highway. Few in the area compete on it's authenticity and flavor. Juan's Special and the Mexican guac can't go wrong. The only complaint is the lack of horchata, but first world problems.“

“The food was good but a little expensive. I could have gotten a better deal at any other taqueria. I paid $12 dollars and change for a sandwich and a drink. A taco combo with a potato, beans, and a drink is less than that at another taqueria. The service was great, though. We stopped here because we saw a lot of cars in the parking lot. When we walked in, there were only 2 other people there. We got tricked, lol. The building is kinda old. They only have one restroom for men and women.“
“Reminds me of my days when I visited Mexico and having a small Mexican store nearby is so nice. Every time I head in, all the memories of me entering a small store in Mexico hits in. From childhood snacks and drinks to delicious tortillas freshly made everyday.I usually get the Mexican brand Arizona, a small wee coke glass bottle or even chips from their nearby store, the meat market. It is so nice overall.“

“First time eating here. I was very impressed with the big botana platter they were placing on all the tables. It had a lot of food. The rice, beans and avocado plates could be a larger plate. The tables sat 8 so I wasn’t able to try those 3 platters. But other than that it was delicious. The botana had beef/chicken fajitas, flautas, quesadillas, tortas (lonches), onions, bell peppers. I will definitely return to try this platter with my family.“

“We’ve been coming to Monterrey Cafe for many years now. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from But… we ultimately end up back here. We love the food! Not only does it taste good but the serving size is perfect. The staff always greets us with a smile even if extremely busy. My wife loves their salsa and chips and i like it all but my go to is the panchos with fajitas. Thank you Monterrey cafe for the outstanding service!!!???“

“Food is good but could be better. People working there don't seem happy at all. They look miserable.Parking: Their parking lot is very small and parking on the street is usually full so that sucks.Wheelchair accessibility: Someone in a wheelchair can get in and out with little to no trouble.“

“Best flour tortillas in town! Go hungry!Food took a while to be served but for tortilla & butter got us through the wait. It was worth the wait & coffee was "coffee crazy lady" approved plus they kept filling up my cup. We need this in San Antonio. It's packed most of the time but it's worth the 20 minute wait. Best customer service in the 956 valley area #outoftown #happytummy #noralealhomeloans“

“My daughter and I tried Mexican Restaurant Doña Paz in Weslaco for the 1st time & it was so good! The fajitas are tender, juicy and full of flavor. The rice was moist and flavorful. The beans are good. The cheese enchiladas are light and cheesy. I can't wait to come back and try other plates. The staff are super nice and friendly.“

“Authentic-authentic-authentic!Good prices... with nice sized portions.Oxtail soup, beef tongue, etc...My favorite order, fatboy or piggy (whatever they call it) Sandwich with egg, spam, sausage, bacon, and whatever else you can think of.Great fajitas, my suegra loves the fedeo. The drive thru is a nightmare, but the food is great!I am a Vet, the owners have vets in the family. I love this little take out spot. I wish I could wave a ward and give them a great new, bigger location with a drive-thru service developed by Chick-fil-A.P. S. Every employee in the great state of Texas should be required to speak English. And yes, every Gringo migrant from the great state of Florida should be encouraged to learn Spanish if he moves to South Texas.P. P. S. You should give whoever integrated that homedepot commercial fan as a kitchen exhaust fan a bonus. /grinParking: Very small location, very tight parking. Be careful.Kid-friendliness: Mainly a take out location. You probably can take small kids, I would not. I would definitely still go, but bring the food home.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat parking, no steps, but narrow door and small dining room. Again, this is a great take out restaurant.“

“In a place where flavors boldly convene,Lies a restaurant where the botanas reign supreme.Heaps of meat upon your plate do tower,A feast so grand, it's the talk of the hour.Prices low, the value high, it's true,A marvel how much you get, a view so skewed.Though seafood whispers from the menu's side,The call of botanas, too strong to hide.“
