“This is my favorite Italian restaurants we frequent. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Their servers are always attentive even when busy. Their food is always fresh and flavorful. I would highly recommend their lobster ravioli. Their prices are reasonable considering the quality.”

“I went to the Hawaiian Brothers in Rowlett and as always I was blown away by the service and the food. I spoke with one of the managers and her name is Tangie and she was awesome. Her knowledge of the food and the menu was absolutely amazing. So I just wanted to give an outstanding recommendation to anyone who would like to try the Hawaiian culture and it's amazing food. “Let's just say I am miserably full because the food was SO GOOD. Let's start with the garlic naan; oh wow. It's crispy, it's light and fluffy, it's got fresh garlic and that alone could be my meal. Nobody does naan like this! Hand crafted deliciousness. You combine that with the amazing Butter Chicken Momo and literally you need nothing else. We added the chicken tikka masala out of curiosity, and I will admit I prefer more white meat over the thighs as sometimes the pieces are chewy but it had good flavor and good spice. I would err more on the side of adding spice for a little bit more flavor. In the end though, I'm going to dream about the butter chicken. As my spouse said 10 out of 10, no notes. Overall the atmosphere was nice, I'd say classy even, and the staff was super friendly. All smiles and very accommodating. I think I just found my new favorite Indian restaurant.”

“First of all, let me say that what you get for the money is amazing! I compare their catfish pieces to those at ‘Fish N Tails’ and there is no comparison. Catfish Connections wins, hands-down! For the quality, seasoning, taste and the size of their catfish pieces, you can’t beat it! I’m a first timer, but I will definitely be a repeating customer!”

“Awesome addition to downtown Rowlett. excellent pastries (huge variety) and breads. Fabulous coffee with house made syrups. They offer some unique coffee creations. I've enjoyed the Hot Turkish Coffee with cardamom syrup, the Mexican coffee with cinnamon and the iced horchata coffee. Great local vibe. Limited indoor seating but plentiful outdoor seating so I look forward to enjoying more coffee al fresco now that spring is here. Don't leave without a loaf of their sourdough bread. I ate a whole loaf by myself in a week. So delicious!”

“We finally got to try Lico’s and wish I had gone sooner. My wife and I ordered the combos and got different options so we could sample it all. Everything we had we loved.”

“Sweet little coffee shop with sweet drinks - Both drinks we tried were blended frappes, including the Ube Love (purple yam). Coffee flavor was not particularly strong in this, but it was a unique and tasty frozen drink. And thoughtful baristas - When we ordered a second drink (Tres Leches Frappe, also tasty), they remembered a special request from our first drink.”

“This place is family operated! So be patient if they are busy! They work so hard and do their best. I had to drink a cucumber limeade , and to eat I got spring rolls , crispy dumplings and the eye of round beef pho . Spring rolls were not the best I’ve had the pork was a little strange it reminded me of deli meat . Dumplings though were amazing I’ll just get those next time they were a 10/10 . The beef broth was absolutely amazing , the beef though was very tough almost over cooked I believe the beef should be a little bit more tender , maybe next time I’ll ask for the beef raw on the side and I’ll put it in myself to cook while I’m eating it . They were so busy I got my drink close to the end of my meal , but no complaints it was very pleasant I just took it home . Like I said if they are busy just please be patient they will get to you and get your order right ! It’s worth it I promise .”

“it's a small diner but was very comfortable. our waitress was very helpful and nice, attentive without being a bother breakfast was delicious. my husband had a veggie omelette packed full of yummy things. I had a fried pork chop and eggs. we enjoyed every bite it was well worth it. we found this just by looking online. glad we went there. if we ever come back this way we would go again.”

“I went for the grand opening and the food was amazing! It was so fresh and tasted great! I had the cheesy caprese toast, berry bliss toast, and the grain and berry bowl with an açaí base made fresh açaí from Brazil. The toast was on a thick slice of bread. They actually slice it off the loaf in front of you. You can watch all of your food being prepared, it’s great! I can’t wait to go back and try other menu items. Prices are about $9-13 for most items.”

“This is my home bar. Been going here since 2008. They have great daily specials - $5 for 1/2lb burger on Mondays and get THIS: Tuesday is 2.50 domestic bottles, 16oz drafts, 1/4lb burgers! You can’t beat that anywhere! The service is usually great, even when busy. Shuffleboard tourneys Thursday and Saturday. Karaoke on Tuesday night and the weekends. AMI jukebox you can use an app for. Lots of bar seating and you can smoke inside. Add a few game machines, a couple pool tables and darts - you’ve got the best backroads bar in the county. Crockpot Sundays for NFL watches. Drop in on Friday days for the specials and say hi to Debby, tell her Trav sent you. See you there!

“The food is always served fresh. The chicken for the chicken sandwiches is very well seasoned. The tots are delicious and salted just right. My husband enjoys the burgers and the fried pickles. And the play ground looks like something I would have enjoyed as a kid. We don’t come too often, but do enjoy when we do.”

Last night we had a chocolate peppermint and apple cider at our Christmas party. which were both phenomenal! This time we got the lunch menu shrimp fried rice, pork fried rice, and the combo lo mien to spit between two people. It was very tasty, and we got extra egg rolls, they have the best egg rolls of any Chinese food place we have ever ate. They are a lot more pricey than before, but everywhere else is to because of Biden economics. Vote Trump 2024 to get back to normal.”
