“My wife and I were looking forward to the opening. We finally got to go on a date night. It was packed but the atmosphere was great. The waiter was amazing and the food was fantastic. We had the Caprese Salad, Bruciatini and the Mussels In White Wine. And for dessert we had Panna Cotta. Can't wait to go again.”

“Ate at Twin Peaks today at SW Twin Peaks .. Elexis served me and never missed a step with drinks or asking about the food .. Her friendly smile and happy personality made me have a great day .. I will be back . By far the best in San Antonio .. She is 6 star service. Thank you and I will tell my friends to eat there... The best.”
“We had the best experience. The service was wonderful. Our server Shelby was attentive, friendly and made great recommendations. Every staff member was friendly. You can tell they take great care in their restaurant, food, and making their customers feel welcome. All our food was incredible from the appetizers to the dessert. Even the bread they bring is delicious. I didn’t take a picture of the spinach artichoke dip or spiedini but did of everything else. We had lasagna, pappardelle bolognese, and chicken parm. It was the best chicken parm I have ever had. My mother in law said the same about her lasagna. My husband had never eaten pappardelle but loved it. The Panna Cotta was light, airy and just delicious. We will definitely be back. This is our new favorite Italian restaurant.”

“Amazing, amazing! Food was incredible. Packed with well thought out flavors, and plated beautifully. The Krab and crab butter ponzu was the best sushi I’ve ever had. As well as the green chili pork belly!! Phenomenal! Service was outstanding. My waiter, Tim was knowledgeable and provided exceptional service. This is now one of my favorite restaurants!”

“Google isn't allowing me to upload photos, but I'll check back in to try again.
I debated whether or not to post this review because I absolutely want to gatekeep Yozora. However, I also want Chef Emanuel and his team to succeed, so whatever. Just as long as you leave me a table, I’ll let you in on the secret.
The interior is mid-century modern with a chill vibe. The clean lines and no-frills interior didn’t feel sparse but instead gave me Mad Men vibes. The vinyl set up to the left of our table screamed 70s basement party in all the right ways. The music was kept at an acceptable level—not too loud that it kept us from hearing our conversation but loud enough to tempt me into shaking my hips when a slammin’ Bossa Nova came on.
**Be advised: we ordered damn near everything on the menu, and our bill reflected as much. Don’t think too hard; just donate some plasma next month.**
It’s not hard to go a little menu crazy with the izakaya-inspired menu.
Lucky Chicken is a red ale IPA from Kyoto, Japan. I had the yuzu sake high ball, which was crisp and refreshing.
The Asian pear cucumber salad was addicting. The floral pear and the mildly sweet cucumber cleansed the palate in anticipation of the meal. The Shiro Wrap (which I assume is named for Yozora’s predecessor) is a spicy avocado and panko-fried soft-shell crab filling surrounded by a soy wrap, masago, and chives. It’s one of those dishes you think of occasionally and wonder if it misses you as much as you miss it.
The Charcoal Grilled Chasu had a unique combination of fatty braised pork belly scented with charcoal that highlighted the salty creaminess of Reggiano cheese. The scallion kimchi that accompanied it mixed spicy with the herbaceous punch of the scallion tops.
The Garlic Edamame is like a toxic relationship: it hurts you but is so addictive and lovely that you can’t help but keep coming back to it. I spent the rest of the meal slurping soybeans from their pods while I conquered the rest of our meal. These have moderate spiciness, so if you’re sensitive to heat, I would skip them.
Hot Line Crispy Gyoza is a fried pork dumpling tossed in 911 sauce (it was more urgent care to us) and topped with parm-Reggiano cheese. These weren’t our favorite, but we’d demolish them after a night of drinking.
We moved on to the Yakitori section of the menu and enjoyed the Negima (chicken thigh and Japanese leek) and Waygu. Both were grilled exceptionally and remained juicy and tender.
We chugged on over to the “Crudo and Battera” section and ordered the Toro Tartare (I wished the lotus chip was thicker to accommodate the weight of the rich tartare), the Pepper Fin (I could drink the citrus soy/chili oil situation), and the Crispy Toro (we loved the juxtaposition of the creamy, fatty toro and the hidden crispy rice).
You might think we were ready to tap out by now… and we were, but we had ordered the Waygu Teriyaki, and we’re no quitters. The Wagyu was cooked perfectly, a gorgeous medium-rare, and the soy beurre blanc sat in was nothing short of seductive.
Our final push was the Yuzu Japanese Citrus Pie. I don’t know if they have an in-house pastry chef, but whoever created this dessert knows what the hell they’re doing. The yuzu offered the right amount of pucker factor, and the crisp, buttery crust added just enough sweetness to balance it.
Our server (I want to say his name was Ray or Roy) was exceptional in his attentiveness, engagement, and hospitality.
I wholeheartedly recommend Yozora as I think it should be on everyone’s list of must-eat places in the San Antonio area.”
“I have tried almost every Sushi spot in San Antonio and Shiro stands above and beyond everyplace I have been to. Every single piece of Sushi was super fresh and just melts in your mouth, it is honestly going to be hard to go anywhere else after having been to Shiro. The prices definitely reflect the quality and freshness difference compared to other places and is 110% worth it.”
“Starting the night off with a Warsteiner Dunkle; crisp, and refreshing while my wife enjoyed Planet Oregon's sparkling Rosé.
Our 1st appetizer was the Brown sugar cured soy glazed pork belly musubi, delicious and light. We continued with the 2nd appetizer, roasted bone marrow with beef tenderloin tartare, which was phenomenal...by far the best tartare I've tasted in a long time. It's lemony tang combined with a floral tartness leaves you wanting more.
For the entrees: the beef tenderloin, a delicious medium rare served with cauliflower, shishito peppers and potato gratin was balanced perfectly with its side of crispy onion rings.
The braised beef short rib was as tender as the tenderloin, falling apart at the touch of a fork. Blending the mashed potatos, carrots and peas drew forward the flavors of the horseradish crème fraîche.
For dessert: we ended the night with their heavenly, delicious..Butter Cake.
The experience was pure BLISS.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there is a wheelchair friendly route outside of the restaurant.”
“Every month I am in charge of picking a place and organizing a lunch for group of retirees from Fernandez Elementary. I saw some posts on FB and thought Box St. La Cantera. Look like a great place for us. It did not disappoint. The food and drinks were outstanding and Isaac our waiter was fabulous and very accommodating. We were a group of 14, but he was so friendly and helpful and made our experience a special one. Everyone at the restaurant was great! I know I’ll be back! Thanks Box Street!♥️”
“We ate at Mixtili on the last day of their July-October 19th menu. Interestingly, we were literally the last table, on the last day of this menu being offered.
***SIDE NOTE***: As I write this, we just days away from the first ever Texas ‘Michelin Guide’ being released!
Now if there’s one thing I know - it’s good food…
I’ve eaten at unlimited dinners, drive-ins, and dives. I’ve also eaten at Oteque (**), ABaC (***), and Cocina Hermanos Torres (***) <— those are Michelin stars ?. To sum it up, the kid’s palette is absolutely diversified!
I would like to take this moment prior, to solidify, without a doubt, my impeccable and dependable food acumen. Today, I declare, prior to, that Mixtili will undoubtedly receive a one Michelin star, upon the Texas Michelin Guide being released Nov 11th, 2024.
***Now Back To Business***
It’s not often that you find a Mexican Michelin caliber restaurant, but Mixtili definitely delivered! From the very start of the experience, they impressed with the CORN ESQUITES TART. This was what I could only describe as a ‘freaky lil spin’ on traditional esquites (elotes off the cob), that was served as hors d'oeuvres, in their bar area, where our “experience” began. This was arguably the best thing we ate, but I may be a little biased due to my surprise and intrigue with its composition. Other notable plates were the CORUNDA [White Corn, Rajas, Koji Jocoque] (which semi resembles a piece of cheesecake lol but tasted like a fajita), and the MOLE DE CAFÉ
[Brined Pork Chop, Apple, Marigold].
I anticipate Mixtili will explode in popularity over the next 12-24 months, so I encourage you to be a part of the early majority!”
“Love the food and the service. Always ask for Rodrigo for his excellent customer service. He fully explains menu items enhancing your dining experience. Really recommend this restaurant!”
“Excellent choice for our anniversary dinner in San Antonio. The staff was excellent and went above and beyond. The food was amazing! The only issue was the tables are very close together and not a lot of elbow room. Would highly recommend!”

“I came to this Denny’s last week because it was close to a dr appt I’d just left. It was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. My server was Scott, so kind and efficient, never rushed me. I told him his voice alone put me at ease because he spoke so calmly (after a stressing dr appt). Food was excellent! Cleanest Dennys I’ve seen. Thank you, Scott! I will be back!”
“Decided to try a new Denny's location and went to this one....I was actually super surprised. Compared to all the negative reviews me and my family loved our overall experience there. We walked in and were immediately welcomed by our server Jenny who led us to one side of the restaurant and allowed us to pick where to sit. Our drink orders were taken and even suggested chocolate milk for the kids which made them super happy. After taking our food orders we waited for our food which was the only downside because it did take quite a while but our server assured us she was trying to get it out as quickly as possible. The entire time we waited for our food she kept checking in with us making sure our glasses stayed full and interacting with our kids keeping smiling faces all around the table. I'm super happy we decided to dine at this Denny's. It was definitely an experience the entire family enjoyed.”
“The best service, most empathetic and helpful staff, and nicest atmosphere you’ll find.
I had a borderline emergency situation and staff were absolutely incredible. I am so grateful. God bless!
Michael Townsend was exceptional, as were the other staff.
Service was fast, food was great. Not enough good things to say about this place.”
“La panaderia. Is everything that you spect from Mexican bakery but more...nice service incredible pan dulce...one of the best spots neat The Alamo in San Antonio. For breakfast and brunch it's the place”
“We had our 2022 Christmas dinner here this evening! Food was very tasty & the staff worked had to please us on a very busy evening. Cheers!”

“Had Dave's tonight for the very first time, food was top notch, I was so impressed, and love the Rewards program, too. I was able to get a free fountain drink with my order so that was super nice too, can't wait to see the next rewards. Thank you Dave's, we are so fortunate to have you, I will definitely be one of the regulars for sure.”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had a fantastic experience here! Upon arriving, I was greeted warmly by Arrianna, who was incredibly professional and helpful. Her excellent knowledge of the menu made ordering a breeze, and she offered great suggestions. Despite a busy line, service was quick and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the Working Man Combo, which was well worth the price. I’ll definitely be back for more!”
The best.”
“First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! Thank You For Everything !!”
“My server Chris was amazing. I wanted to try something different. I tried the Chicken Alfredo and it was delicious. I wanted too try the spicy Chicken Alfredo but wasn't sure how spicy it was. Chris stated can place the spices on the side and I can add them.. andddd Eddie the Manger came by, introduced himself, and asked how was my food. 5 STARS 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟”
“If you want a real sandwich not loaded with questionable meats and vegetables then this is your place. It’s better than the chain stores and very fresh. You have an option of a side salad or soup with every sandwich. My new favorite place for sure. All for just over $10 dollars. Sandwich De Paris you need to enter San Antonio best Of. You will win hands down.”
“One of my favorite places for Happy Hour! Wine is my thing! The food is great here too and you can't beat the prices. If you need to take colleagues out or find a place for your gals to get together, this is a great spot! I always get good service and love the atmosphere.”

“This restaurant is authentic, delicious, and budget friendly. Their meat is true Halal, drinks are served by the can/not fountain. A great spot to pick up lunch for yourself and or colleagues. Would reccomed to locals and families. The restaurant is a bit small with two 4top tables. However this is a much healthier and tastier option from its surrounding competitors.”
“A really fun place with even better food. They don't have an overly large menu, which is a good thing because it's hard enough deciding from the existing selections. The bowls are huge and oh so delicious. The staff is so friendly, helpful and attentive. What a concept.... curry and BBQ! It works so well. Can't wait to return. Please be aware that parking is very touch and go, meaning you may have to park a bit away from the restaurant and walk a bit, especially during peak times. But so worth it.”
“Very friendly and courteous staff with chef being the highlight to prepare delicacies. Am definitely going to be here again.
Veg Platter, Chilli Paneer, Yellow Daal Tadka, Veg Manchurian are few things I tried and definitely made me visit them for the duration I was in San Antonio.”

“This place was amazing! I have been to my fair share of locations on the East and West Coast. But this location was amazing for it's food, service, and ambiance! Our server Dallas should be recommended by name! He was kind, attentive, and fast! This restaurant has superb management as well. The team constantly ensured we were satisfied! This location is a must visit”
“We ordered my daughters 2nd birthday cake from The Cake Shop on a whim. We had planned her second birthday party in San Antonio and needed to find a bakery in the area; we’re from Pawnee, TX. From start to finish, they were super nice and bought our design to life! They even delivered the cake to the party venue! The cake was not only cute but also, delicious (oh, and huge)! It was 2 large layers with filling! Definitely recommend them!”
“This bakery was recommended to me by a coworker that had used them at her wedding. The tasting was so cute, they give you the flavors on a little paint palette. The cake was both beautiful and delicious. We had guests telling us how good the cake was on our Facebook posts. They will be our go to bakery from now on.”
“GREAT!! What a joy to eat here. Our server was Jeremy A and he was very good. Food was excellent. We ate here during SA Restaurant week. My husband started with the ribs and then had the pork tenderloin. He said both were excellent. I started with frog legs and then duck. Both were excellent. My husband had the pecan cake and I had the mini triple dessert. Both were excellent. We will go back!”
“Wow what can I say this cake shop was AMAZING and my family and I had the best experience from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by the actual owner, she sat down and listened to what we wanted and even made suggestions we didn’t think about that made the cake even more meaningful. If you are in need of a cake shop that listens to your needs, has the best designs and is locally owned - this is the place for you! Thank you Laura and team for an incredible cake that made the day a memory I won’t ever forget ❤️❤️”
“The Palm San Antonio did an amazing job on my wedding reception! Incredible service, awesome food, and elegant atmosphere all made our wedding a night to remember. Belinda (events coordinator) was very supportive, informative, helpful, and reliable throughout the planning and execution process. My wife and I are incredibly happy with how our evening turned out, and our guests had a wonderful time and amazing meal. I fully recommend using The Palm for your private event needs!”
“Great option for large portions of food… we were all full and satisfied to the extent! Haha. Fast service, friendly staff, and price is reasonable! The whole place was open and lots of room for the seating and area. Love the sauce section; great to learn how to make certain sauces. Easy and convenient ordering through ipad and our waitress was very helpful and on point. Love this place!”
“Salcido provided us with the best service. We did not wait on our drinks and he even brought a little bowl of water for my dog. The service here is always the best and one of our favorite places to eat. The strawberry margaritas are the best! Thank you so much Palenque and Salcido for wonderful service.”

“The atmosphere exuded a calming vibe, complementing the restaurant's commitment to well-being. The menu boasts a delightful array of nutritious options, each dish bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. I particularly enjoyed the Bang Bang Shrimp wrap! If you're seeking a culinary journey that nourishes your body it is a must-visit destination.”
“ELISE CUISINE is the manifestation of owner Rocio’s ten-year dream, and her dedication and commitment to her dream is evident down to the smallest details. The dining space is simple, but quite lovely, and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Service was excellent and perfectly balanced in attentiveness. With hours of 7 AM to 4 PM, this is a breakfast and lunch place, with a varied and adventurous menu that caters to meat-eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and diners in need of gluten-free alternatives. On my first visit, I had the excellent spicy fried chicken sandwich, with sides of home fries and a wonderful arugula salad with cherry tomatoes, quinoa, and a balsamic vinaigrette perfectly blended between sweet and acidic. I look forward to returning again and sampling the extensive breakfast menu. Plenty of beverages are available, and there is a stately espresso machine that speaks to a restaurant that means business when it comes to coffee. This area of Potranco has been in dire need of a sit-down coffee house alternative to Starbucks, and ELISE CUISINE is it. I’ll admit that I was initially a bit cowed by the menu prices, but the portions are very generous; I left with half my meal unfinished, so I was really getting two meals for the price of one, and in truth, virtually all the dine-in, non-fast food alternatives in the area are similarly priced, with nowhere near the ambience and elegance. I plan to be a regular at ELISE CUISINE from here on out.”

“I’ve come to Nekter Juice Bar on Borgfeld a few times now and it’s been delicious every time. It’s family-owned and operated and the staff truly care about your experience however quick it may be. They are helpful with answering questions or suggesting something new!
I’ve now tried 4 different items and so far the Chocolate Peanut Butter is the standout star! I’ve opted for the whey vanilla protein each time but they also have a vanilla pea protein option as well. I haven’t tried it yet but they serve Merit coffee, both hot and iced.
I love having a healthy option for smoothies, smoothie bowls and juices so close to home!
Parking: 2 designated Nekter parking spots, multiple open spots for all customers of the shopping center.”
“I've been a fan of Pete's Hot Chicken, and super happy they finally opened up their new location! I tried the fried chicken and love it! The gentleman who took my order recommended I try the potato salad and I am so glad I did! Not to mention the Agua frescas! I ordered another one to go!”
“We hosted a Celebration of Life at BJ's Brewhouse, Hwy 281 N. Could not have been more satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and especially the food. There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. I've heard terms like "never had pizza this good", "the service was excellent", "wonderful place." I highly recommend this particular location for events. EXCELLENT.”
“My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at Myron's June 18, 2024. Our hostess Monica was wonderful. She was courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our steaks were prepared to perfection. The wine complimented our meal. The atmosphere was very inviting. The food is worth every cent. I hope visit there again the next time we're in San Antonio. S. Sanders”

“Just ate here today. Our waiter, Sean was polite and super attentive. The food was excellent as usual, but could have used a little more seasoning.
As a touching gesture, Sean brought us a little complimentary dessert to celebrate the event that brought us to the restaurant.
Highly recommend!!!!!”
“Awesome vibe, loved the view of the river. This restaurant would be a convenient spot as it’s near the river walk cruise drop off.
Very few vegetarian options, nevertheless the waitress helped us customize some meat options.”
“I have tried almost every Sushi spot in San Antonio and Shiro stands above and beyond everyplace I have been to. “I have been wanting to try this place for some time now after excellent reviews from friends. It exceeded expectations from the well-balanced and delicious cocktails to both cold and hot dishes. For cocktails I tried the Maracuya (welll-balanced, fruit forward but not too sweet) and Club Esmeralda (balanced with fresh herbaceous essence). My husband had the Saltao’ Sour (balanced Mezcal cocktail but not too Smokey with egg white for a nice finish) and Hola Oaxaca (Smokey cocktail balanced with the Orgeat). I recommend trying them all! For food we started with the Nikkei Cebiche which was the highlight of our meal. The fresh Yellow Fin tuna layered with flavors instantly had us ready for a second visit. On to the Piqueos section of the menu where we enjoyed the Yucca Frita, Conchitas a la Parmesana and Anticuchos. Each a warm dish with continued fresh flavors. For our main course we shared the Chaufa (fried rice with pork belly, sausage, egg etc) again layers of flavors and a hearty portion to share. We completed our food journey each with a glass of wine, he a Sauv Blanc from Chile and myself an Albariño. Please come enjoy this lovely gem in Southtown. It’s a unique, one of a kind restaurant in San Antonio. Thank you to the Chef and team for an amazing Sunday lunch experience. We will be back for more.”
“A great experience! This is definitely a well kept San Antonio secret. Food was excellent with generous portions (lamb chops a must try). Service was prompt, courteous, and answered all our menu questions (ask for Sasha). Building and bathrooms clean. A definite do-again!”
“Amazing escargot! Lamb chops fantastic device superb and pear tart was heaven !”
“The food was awesome! I would definitely go back and recommend to others. The brisket about melts in your mouth! Staff was really nice and helpful. Restaurant was also very clean.”
“It will direct you to an apartment complex. You are in fact in the right place, he makes the food himself and brings it down to you! It is authentic food and tastes exquisite!”
“Last night, I went to Carriqui with a party of two. We ordered Tuna Tostadas, Guacamole, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Birria, Flan, Tres Leches, and Margaritas.
Tuna Tostadas – Lights out! Sprinkle some lemon on top, take a bite, and it’s just sooo good. The flavors are perfectly balanced. Easily a must-order.
Birria – As someone who loves heavily seasoned food, I didn’t get a strong flavor kick from it, but the lamb was cooked beautifully. I’m glad I tried it!
Tres Leches – The star of the night. Hands down the best Tres Leches I’ve ever had. I’ve only tasted this dessert in Charlotte, NC before, but this one? Perfect. I devoured the whole thing.
Guacamole – So fresh, great texture.
Flan – Good, but Tres Leches stole the show. (I’m also not a huge caramel fan, so I’m a little biased.)
Chicken Tortilla Soup – This one didn’t do it for me.
Margaritas – I really enjoyed these, they are so refreshing.
Beyond the food, the ambiance was amazing. We sat outside, and everything—the music, weather, lighting—was chef’s kiss.
Would definitely come back, especially for the Tuna Tostadas, Tres Leches, and Margaritas!”
“This was my first stop in San Antonio from Austin! I ordered a ton of food, it made for amazing leftovers two days in a row. I came around lunch on a Friday and waited only 15 min in line. They were already sold out of several items after being open an hour. I paid around $50 with a drink and before tip:
Positives- Pictured is the pork belly, brisket, pork ribs, mac, and street corn. The pork belly was easily the star of the show! It had some sort of sesame sauce on it, it was heavenly. The mac and cheese was also a top contender. It had a unique flavor unlike any Mac I’ve ever had before, almost like earthy. It paired really well with the meal. Also the STAFF was A+! Very friendly and seemed to take pride in their work
Critical- Facility could use some improvements. The parking lot has huge pot holes. I was so glad they had a small indoor dining area but it was still stuffy and not too comfortable to eat in. I get that it’s a no frills place but it wouldn’t hurt to invest in some small renovations. Many people ate outside but there was no shade and it was super hot that day. Small improvements could enhance the dining experience.
THANK YOU!❤️”
“I don’t normally leave reviews, but, my God this was phenomenal!!! Ezra and the other bartender were just absolutely lovely, interesting, and funny. Ezra’s recommendations were amazing! Was so full after the escargot and soup that I had to get the duck confit and dessert to go! Legit cannot wait to get home to have it but cannot wait to leave a review saying I have found my new favorite restaurant!!”
“Had always eyeballed this place and got tickets as a gift from my son. From the minute, we stepped in there, until the minute we left, I was grinning from ear to ear. It is very special to be around people who genuinely love what they do and that is apparent from the minute Doc Watkins and the band step on the stage.
We were fortunate enough to catch a little bit of Christmas music and a little bit of jazz and it was all wonderful. I will be counting the days until I return.”
“Great service and food. Looking for a perfect evening and experience look no further it’s here.”
“Updated one year later to say the enchiladas are still delicious!! Enjoy a Paloma too!!
Holy enchiladas! Order the Suizas enchiladas! I thought about them for about 24 hours afterwards. Our entire experience was fantastic. Lauryn our server was one of the nicest and most patient people ever! The atmosphere is fantastic. And all of the food was delicious!! Wish we lived closer so we could go more often!”
“I love coming here with my family for boba and dessert!!! I hadn’t tried the food until recently and it was so good!! The ambiance is nice and really clean inside!”
“Let me tell y’all!!!!!!! This is the best Italian food I’ve ever had in a long time !!!!! The atmosphere was amazing!!! God bless you all”
“The waiter was kind, sweet and considerable ….the food was incredible I loved every everything♥️”
“Had a great experience. Service is top notch and the general feel of the place was welcoming and inviting.
My gnocchi was delicious! So was my dessert. Everything is meant to be kinda healthy, so this might not be the right place for everyone.
Looking forward to being back and trying more of the menu.”
“oh my gosh the most amazing excellent best sushi place I have ever gone in my life it's great service the food is delicious I totally recommend anyone visiting San Antonio that this is the best sushi bar there is... unlimited sushi for $20 how else can you go wrong... AMAZING!!!”
“Let me start by saying this is the best Chinese restaurant i have been too. CLEAN can't express that enough! Service was great food was very good. The key lime dessert was amazing. All said and done good restaurant.”
“We had the oyster nachos, the special trout piccata, and finished with the awesome bread pudding and key lime pie. We will definitely come back again. This location is convenient and easy to get in and out of on our way home back to Boerne.”
“The server was Leah and she was wonderful. We explained we were there for the charcuterie, wine, coffee and dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed the charcuterie board and the wine (about triple store prices) was perfect! The coffee was a nice blend and accompanied the chocolate bar quite well. We would recommend and return.”
“bartender was super helpful in selecting brews i would enjoy- and they were indeed quite tasty! i was able to make it for brunch and the food was great! i had the polenta and chorizo benedict and it was so delicious! good vibes all around!”
“Today we had an extraordinary experience thank to our server Gregory we mentioned to him that we were excited and celebrating life because our 4 year old went for her yearly MRI scans and came out NED. He went out of his way to put his team together to sing to our precious warrior with a delicious cake and candle, now she is 3 years NED. Food was delicious, cutomer service was excellent, I truly love the atmosphere and recommend it 100%”
“Great food and service. Fine dining on white linen table clothes. Great place to celebrate special occasions.”
“Last week I was one in a group of twelve who had an amazing experience dining at Ida Claire. All agreed that the food was excellently prepared and tasty. Those of us who ordered bread pudding thought it was wonderful. The service was top notch, thanks to our awesome server King. King was not at all intimidated by the number in our party. He was personable, knowledgeable, attentive, and accurate. We would certainly go there again.”
“oh my gosh the most amazing excellent best sushi place I have ever gone in my life it's great service the food is delicious I totally recommend anyone visiting San Antonio that this is the best sushi bar there is... unlimited sushi for $20 how else can you go wrong... AMAZING!!!”
“Wife and I, 1st timers! One word: Excellent! Food, service is top notch. Escargot, Pulpo and Paella are our, go to dishes. Recommend to all. Give yourself a change from Mexican food and try Spanish. Takes us back to Madrid and Marbella.”
“Food was very good and brought with reasonable time. My family and I visited during graduation weekend, so it was reasonably busy. Trays of drinks were shattered on two separate occasions during our visit which disrupted the atmosphere but overall our server was very attentive.”
“Andrea was our waitress today at the 1604/NW Military location and she was great! She was attentive, polite, and quick! We love coming to this location and can always rely on the consistency of this location’s service and wait staff. Even the man who took our order remembered us! Plus, their tortilla soup is back and is as soul-soothing as I remember! ?”
“It’s my first time eating here, the food and the service was amazing. The waiter was very polite, attentive and helpful.”
“Came in last night For the first time and my family doesn’t regret it. Service was perfect, Atmosphere was great and Food was spectacular and Sushi was fresh. Serving size above average. Price was $$ (average) food was great warmed up the next day for lunch.”

“I will be going back. I went to this restaurant with some of my friends and we had a great time. Keith was our waiter. He showed us exceptional customer service. He brought us this fantastic Moscato and he’s very good with recommending dishes as well as drinks. I loved the vibe and the atmosphere. The food was excellent. I loved the salmon dish! Magnificent!”
“Ryan was amazing! Every suggestion worked out and tasted great. It might seem expensive but it's really not when you consider the quality. They don't cut corners. I recommend the Jambalaya with pasta instead of rice. It's fabulous.”
“My wife and I had a lunch date here today and it was great. Food and dessert tastes really good, drinks were good. Highly recommended!”
“Had such a great atmosphere with wonderful service. The food was amazing. The mermaid roll and honey roll is my favorite, so delicious. The all you can eat sushi is such an awesome option! Not bad on cost for the amount of servings you can get.”
“The food was superb! I had the scallops and the soup sampler. The scallops were simply incredible! And The best bisque I have ever had. I loved it so much I had some to go for sure!! “I went to store 2 today and was met with the best service by Chef Dj he put me on to the Texas honey sauce …hats off! Highly recommended and my food is so fresh!”
“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!! We joined some friends for dinner who had previously been here. It is very unassuming and tucked away in a strip center, but has a very quaint and classy atmosphere. Ernesto Jr was a top-notch host, providing great recommendations and truly making us feel like we were having a five-star dining experience. The food was absolutely amazing with nothing left on anybody's plates at the end of the meal! We will definitely be going back to this hidden gem.”
“1st time, for husband's bday. Paul was awsome!! Will definitely be back”
“Absolutely phenomenal food!! I was starting to give up on dining out. Each place we have been to has left extremely disappointed but NOT THIS PLACE. Our food had so much flavor. Black beans, delicious! Tamales, delicious. Ceviche tostada, delicious. Carne asada, delicious. Shredded crispy chicken tacos, delicious! The quality was noticeably better then other restaurants serving the same food. Atmosphere had an upscale but comfortable feel. Very clean tables and booths. No sticky floors. Staff was impeccable, welcome from the moment we walked inside. They were all kind, and courteous. We will definitely return and recommend to others.”

“March 12, 2024 -- just picked up food a few minutes ago. Walked in and no one at the door to greet you if you are dining in or if you are waiting for a pickup. Workers walk in and out from the back and do not ask anyone what they need. Made the order on line -- was supposed to be picked up at 6:50, but once I got there had to wait another 20 minutes without anyone saying so much as I will be with you. The restaurant was not packed -- but none of the workers had a sense of urgency. Chicken was fried so hard to the point that I was not able to eat it -- if I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible service & Terrible food.”
“Wife and I hadn't gone go a Red Lobster in quite a while. Decided to try the one at the Marbach location. Upon walking in found no-one at the front desk, after a brief time two girls came up and eventually sat us at a booth. Subsequently, we were attended quickly by "Kai" our wait server. He introduced himself, was cordial and very attentive. He offered to take our drink order, which was brought to us quickly, and then took our orders. The meals were ordered were prepared well. presented well and were very tasty. Throughout the time we were there, "Kai" came by our table often always offering to bring anything else we might need or desire drink or eat. "Kai's" service was excellent and prompt. We'll come back again...hopefully we'll be attended by "Kai'.”
“The Jewel cafe and bar is just as it's name states, " A Jewel in San Antonio". My husband, 23 year old daughter and I visited this establishment Saturday morning. The new owners are more than friendly and welcoming. They educated my family on the history of the business and when it was a home. They elaborated on their menu and services. The property and fractions of it can be reserved for private parties and events. I ordered the cappuccino with almond milk and hazelnut syrup. Amazing! I can change this up several ways, which is my intention in the future. My husband ordered a peach mango tea. Hot. He loved it, also. My daughter ordered a Latte with almond milk and hazelnut syrup. She agrees this is the best coffee drink she has had and the luxurious but comfortable and casual home atmosphere made it 100% better. My husband also ordered a cinnamon roll. One of the many pastry options available. There are many areas to sit inside or outside, to enjoy the treats. Something good to know, behind the establishment is their private parking lot. This makes it easy to park safely and not worry about crowded curb parking. I highly recommend the Jewel to all folks looking for a coffee, breakfast house to enjoy quality time with family and friends. I do know they are open in the evenings also, offering a full bar alongside coffee, to those who love to unwind with a cocktail. The owners told me of so many plans to serve their community, in this coming year, that I cannot remember it all. I, for sure, will be coming back with new folks to give everyone I know an experience worth having.”

“The waitress took a long time to bring our food. When asked why it was taking so long she said that she never brings the food order out until people eat their appetizers. Never heard that before. Food was great the atmosphere was nice and the service is usually really good. Just this unfortunate experience.”
“If you are looking for something other than Mexican food on the Riverwalk, try this place. Wonderful Italian restaurant with a nice wine selection. Visited here with a group and everyone enjoyed the food. Service was excellent and wine recommendations were spot on.”
“I went there with a bunch of my college friends and honestly everything was great. Chips and salsa was excellent and the guacamole tasted great. We ordered a few top shelf margaritas pitchers and they were just as strong as he said they would be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my friends were being rude and lying about what they ordered once they saw the price of the bill. Felt kind of bad for our server because our experience couldn’t have been any better.”
“very beautiful and vibrant atmosphere with ambient lighting, flowers hanging from the ceiling, LED lights, impressive graffiti type art on the walls. The music isn’t overpowering, lets you enjoy your company and has a great list of upbeat spanish music that makes you want to dance, there’s several huge TVs, booths, tables, high top tables, a bar. They start you off with chips salsa and some refried beans!! We got the quesi birria tacos and they were so delicious the tuna roll also did not disappoint! everything from the atmosphere to our food and drinks as well as our waitress, Sarah, was perfect. She was on top of everything and took very good care of us! 11/10 thank you for the fantastic service at El Remedio SA!”
“We had a great experience! We booked around 7 so saw the sunset from the tower. The view is unmatched. The food was excellent, I got the coconut shrimp and my husband got a filet that was cooked to perfection. The table side cocktails were fun and delicious. We felt the timing of everything was great, it's nice to not be rushed and have time to enjoy the scenery. The elevators take a sec, you're eating at the top of a tower so to be expected. Don't plan on getting in and out in a hurry. We enjoyed our time here very much, highly recommend!”
“It was my first time here and was immediately greeted with such great customer service from Charlie. The food was so delicious as well, I got the hot 1-Slider w/ Fries; it was a very enjoyable spicy chicken sandwich!! I would definitely recommend if you're craving a hot chicken sandwich. ?”

“I Love this location. I’ve been here approximately 5/6 times the last month. I go for the fish because i like the way it’s breaded. Tony, the manger is awesome. He is always on the floor greeting customers and ensuring things are running smooth. Dana, one of the team members helped me and my Father today. She was very nice and made sure our order was correct before leaving. The Penney of the staff is great and I will always keep coming back.”
“When it was time to decide on where to go for our 41st Anniversary, Haywire was our choice. Been here before and will continue to return. Had a great meal as always, service is always the best and the ambiance is amazing. Kudos to a well trained crew and very well run restaurant.”
“Normal people that come here.”
