Perfect birria! I ordered the birria torta by far the best thing ive tasted, it caught me by surprised how good this place was since It was my first time. and he was working by himself and still managed to keep my whole family satisfied with the food!! no complaints great place
So the bad reviews are all old and go back to their food truck days. Current location isn't fancy but the people are super nice and the birria tacos are awesome. Servings are super generous. My wife and I split the quesabirria which was four tacos with broth. The salsas are delicious. Considering the serving size I think it's a great value. El Jefe is a must try for birria. Teenager approved. Good portions and flavor at a good price. Small dining room but good enough to enjoy your tacos. Just know that the menu is Birria-centric and there is nothing wrong with that. Support your local restaurant
