“My wife and I recently dined at Ultra Kitchen Restaurant and Catering, and we were blown away by the experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were immersed in the true essence of Nigerian opulence. The restaurant was neat and the atmosphere exuded warmth and authenticity. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the food. Every dish was freshly made to order, bursting with authentic Nigerian flavors. As an appetizer, we couldn't resist trying the suya, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were bold and tantalizing, setting the perfect tone for the rest of our meal. I savored the Jollof rice with goat meat (it could have been more tender but absolutely delicious overall) and fried plantains, while my wife indulged in the Egusi with pounded yam. Each bite transported us to the heart of Nigeria. On another occasion, I had the pleasure of trying their goat meat pepper soup, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. It truly felt like a taste of home, comforting and satisfying in every way.But what truly set Ultra Kitchen apart was the hospitality of the owners. They welcomed us like family, ensuring that we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Their warmth and genuine care for their guests made our dining experience truly unforgettable.Overall, Ultra Kitchen Restaurant and Catering exceeded our expectations in every aspect. From the impeccable cleanliness to the authentic flavors, and the welcoming hospitality of the owners, it's clear that they take pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience. We can't wait to return to San Antonio for more of their delicious Nigerian comfort meals. Highly recommended if you’re ever in the area!Kid-friendliness: The staff were incredibly patient and attentive, ensuring our kids felt comfortable throughout the meal. It made for a wonderful family dining experience.“
“I’m really glad that I went to this place. We took their golden fried mushroom which was awesome! The sweet chili sauce that comes with it was so good! I definitely recommend trying it. We also got eggplant basil with chicken, ki mow spaghetti, pad ba me. If you like eggplants then this curry is really good. I have tried it in a couple of other places as well. Theirs are very fresh and so good! The noodles were good too. They were mild but had great flavors. Now coming to the best part which was the mango sticky rice. It was heavenly! If you’re there trying this one is a must. One of the best mango sticky rice I have tried! Entrée prices are good but dessert and appetizers seemed a bit more pricey compared to others places. But the taste compensated for it. Will go back for sure! Give them a try if you’re in the area!“
“Food is good and fresh! I love the Oysters on the half shell and their Oysters Rockefeller. The Salmon is always perfectly cooked! Drinks are great and hubby says the beer is nice and cold! Sitting outside or at the bar is our favorite place to sit. Nice place to visit if you haven't been by give em a try. Their service is good and you can't beat the Mimosa priced at $4.00.“
“Hoagies, daily specials, soups, canoli. A simple menu packed with delicious food.First of all, finding a place to park may be a bit of a challenge but going slightly out of your way will be well worth the effort. If you can't find a spot in front of the place, there are numerous places to park on nearby side streets. It's a compact space with a full view of the kitchen. You'll be greeted at the counter and directed to a board with the menu. There are hoagies of all varieties. We opted for the curry chicken salad. It was a HUGE sandwich stuffed with delicious creamy and slightly sweet chicken curry salad. Tomatoes and thin slices of onion top the filling. Grab your drink from the selections of sodas, teas, Tops in the cooler, grab some chips and wait for your order to be brought to you. Seating is picnic tables and two-tops outside the deli. Too full to even consider the delicious looking canoli. But will be back soon!Very, very friendly service.Parking: Very limited parking on Blanco near the deli. Might have to park on a side street.“
“We love Sichuan Garden! The food is always fresh and delicious!I love the Chicken and Veggies w steamed rice! It is my favorite! And the Egg Drop soup is one of my favorites too!The Kung Pao in either Chicken or Beef is very delicious. And so is the Sesame Beef or Chicken! And the Lo Mein is also so good!Vivian is always so sweet! And so are everyone else! Always very welcoming! And the restaurant is always very clean and bright.“
“1st Time Here. The inside of this restaurant was very beautiful and very clean . I ordered the Mole Plate. Did not know how this was going to turn out?? Wow I was Totally Shocked look at the plate that was almost Flawless. But what I did not like were the Beans and I love beans but these beans were tasteless. Maybe I should’ve of ordered a Side order of Charro Beans. If the the beans on the mole plate would have been delicious, then this plate would’ve been a Delicious flawless Plate. Because the chicken was soft and delicious, The mole sauce was delicious. The rice was delicious. The salad was fresh and delicious. But the Tortillas were not Good?I will definitely BE BACK ?“
“We had a group of 20. They seemed a little overwhelmed BUT the food was amazing! Dumplings and rangoons were so yummy. Their hot chili oil is so good and actually spicy. I had general tso and loved it. I tried some friends food I’ll definitely go back to have other meals.“
“It’s hard not to get hungry writing about this, one of my favorite restaurants. As I write, I both recall fondly the many times I’ve come here for the mushroom matar masala, saag paneer, and chicken tikka masala, and look forward to the many times more I’ll return for exactly that and the friendly folks who work here. Please give this a shot!“
“I'm on a doordash so I can't read the food for the service that this place is pretty neat! Just had a real welcoming attitude, I thought anyway. I really think the pictures speak for themselves. I think this place is worth a try. I'll be back“
“I haven't been to an olive garden in years but this location I went to has me wanting to go back! My family had the best experience with the service and food! I love the new look and design of this restaurant vs their old style restaurants.“
“It had been a number of years since I'd visited Thai Dee. It's got a fabulous reputation for good Thai food. Went for lunch. Lunch special Pad Thai was disappointing. The noodles, although perfectly cooked, lacked a distinctive taste. The sauce seemed too much like tomato sauce. But it was a huge portion and certainly enough to take home and have for at least two more meals. Spring rolls were better than the Pad Thai. They were delicately fried, but they also lacked for a distinctive flavor.Excellent and attentive service. Pleasant atmosphere.Parking lot is small and finding a space can be a challenge because the adjoining convenience store does not allow anyone but their customers to park at the entrance to their store.Parking: Very small lot and some of the spaces are very tight. Be prepared for this fact.“
“When you think of a restaurant located within a gas station, you might write it off as a "hole in the wall" place that sells greasy uninteresting food. That's not the case here. With any restaurant located in a gas station, there is no seating inside. You'll find benches outside to sit and eat, but this is probably best to take out and go back home or take back to work and eat. You don't really get too much from a service standpoint either. It's order and go. The food itself is amazing. The rice is freshly made and kept warm in the rice cooker (the way it SHOULD ALWAYS be). The chicken was crispy and spicy and full of flavor. Perhaps too flavorful, because I wanted to take a nap after eating. If you are in need a quick bite to go, stop by and get some!“
“We live down the street. Its never disappointing..the food seems no matter what you order is served hot and a good amount...the lemonade..so good..great staff...small hole in the wall you can miss if not looking for..but look cause its the best Mexican restaurant in area.Parking: In front of restaurant just off the street.“
“Everything was good except I stood up to reach the sweetener the chair fell back The waiter picked it up and moved it back away from the table didn't realize he pulled it back went to sit down and landed on the floor but they sang Happy Papasito Birthday song to my daughter“
“When it comes to assembly line eating, this place has it all. Walking in, it feels as though you're in Chipotle or Subway, oh but this establishment is anything but. With your choice of greens mixed with a variety of ingredients, Salata's salads is a sanctuary for a food experimentist, and the portions are amazingly large. Just try to get a bowl filled up with their selection, I dare you.“
“First time trying. Was visiting from WA State. The staff working behind the counter were so amazing and friendly. We were laughing and having a great time. They were helpful and walked me through the process. What a great experience! Our salads were outstanding.“
“I love the food when I'm on that side of town, but I would really like one more north.Parking: The area of the location is quite busy, with medical locations being in the same area. If you are lucky, good for you, but you may end up walking a little bit.“
“This place is on the corner of W. Martin and Colorado St and was in the 1960's 70's and 80's my mom and dads grocery store and meat market. It's now Regia Cocina and this place is superb. The food (tacos including barbacoa) were delicious. I highly recommend it if you're in the area, stop by and get some excellent food. The atmosphere in this pleasingly old-fashioned restaurant is so enjoyable and relaxing too.“
“this will be our go-to place when we go to an Olive Garden. We went to the one that was closer to our house and we had a party of eight but you can't reserve online eight people only six and the person that took our reservation on the phone said just to reserve for six and we will know that you're eight. But when we got there they said they couldn't set it up for six and whoever told him that was wrong so we drove an extra 15 minutes to eat at another one and that's when we found this Olive Garden the manager us at the door and even gave us 10% discount because of the fact that we went and had a bad experience at another location kudos to everybody there“
“Had a great experience here today. Everything was on point from the moment we walked in. Our servers name was Harry and he was beyond amazing. Very attentive, friendly, and genuine. made great recommendations and made sure we were good all the way til we got up and left. the chicken scampi was delicious, tour of Italy left family member very satisfied. If you go, I strongly recommend the dumpling soup and the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and if you want great customer service, request HARRY on your next visit. You wont be disappointed.“
“Our waiter Kim was absolutely amazing! She was extremely attentive and helpful. Olive Garden is lucky to have her as an employee, Food was wonderful but she made my experience and my families experience even better. Thank you Kim!P.S. - If you are planning on going to this location, I would request her. ❤️“
“Service was outstanding, embril was our server. Food absolutely spectacular. Atmosphere was uneasy, homeless man going table to table begging for money. Kind of ruined the birthday lunch for my brother. Absolutely love The Olive Garden ?. Not sure about this location due to them allowing people to pan handle inside.“
“Food was fresh and delicious. Even though it was near closing time (….we’re from out of town and starving otherwise would never go to a restaurant al close to closing). They seated us quickly and provided menus and drinks right away. Our meals tasted fresh and nothing wrong with our meals. The staff did come out at some point to ask if we needed anything else as they would be closing down the kitchen soon. That was very kind of them to ask.If we are ever traveling back through here, we will definitely visit again!!“
“Came for the 김치찌개 kimchi jjigae… it was pretty fermented! I like mine alittle less sour but it was still really good, and the 잡채 japchae was good! It’s a cute little restaurant, the atmosphere isn’t special but we come for the food.“
“Service: They welcomed us 20 minutes before closing and dined in. The service was outstanding and felt like home.Food: I WILL MAKE A 40 MIN DRIVE TO EAT THERE!! The quality of meat and fresh cooked vegetables is beyond normal. The flavor in their dishes is uniquely made by their amazing Chinese chefs.Atmosphere: Very clean and friendly environment.Overall: Don’t go to a chain restaurant, spend your money on a quality dish that will impact your taste buds forever.“
“It's good for salad. I was thrilled to be going, but sometimes my diabetic husband needs veggies and meat. I wish they had cauliflower, but I do like all of the options they did have. There are enough options that you can go more than one time and get different salads with various proteins and vegetables and not make it too repetitive. That whole wheat croissant though...come on!!! It's spectacular, I could eat 6 of those. Overall good, clean places, prices are a little high but everything is and the staff member who helped us was nice.“
“It was a great visit today! Great customer service. The food was great and it came to our table really fast. The drinks were... well, maybe a bit bland. But everything else was awesome today!Vegetarian options: Eggplant Parmesean is great!Kid-friendliness: Very Family oriented! Bring the little ones.Wheelchair accessibility: It has plenty of space between the tables for a wheelchair.“
“This is a shout out to Martha who provided exceptional service for our catering order! We had this location cater my baby shower last weekend, and the entire experience was fantastic from the day we ordered in person and Martha helped us to the day of delivery when she was also the one to deliver. I greatly appreciated her punctuality and friendly attitude on what was a chaotic morning. The food was excellent, but the service from her is what truly made it a completely enjoyable experience. I highly recommend using this location's catering services, and if you want a great person to help you ask for Martha!“
“Enjoyed this food alot, I tried the grilled shrimp with Lobster sauce and fried rice, they give you a great amount of food for a lunch plate. I enjoyed the crab Rangoon too! It's a tiny place but that doesn't matter, it's the great food that counts anyway!“
“I was in the area working and wanted some nostalgia, but come to find out, La Fiesta is GONE. I still walked in and looked around, and it wasn't bad. I found a restaurant in a grocery store. And it wasn't bad. They used the good chedder, and the Bacon was Crispy. Tortillas were a little doughy, but I mean, come on dog its a grocery store with a restaurant. I still enjoyed it and can't really complain. The dine in all looked like happy regulars. I couldn't communicate with the employee at the register, but I received what I asked for. Keep up the good work.“
“Best vermicelli lemon grass bowl with a kick and best Vietnamese eggrolls to die for and never have to wait long food is always fresh and steaming hot .Place is not packed that’s the way I like it staff is very very friendly and owner comes out and checks on how is your food is totally cares about his customer service Y’all need to hit this spot Wish I had took pictures but I couldn’t wait next time for sureWheelchair accessibility: Roll right up from parking spot“
“We saw the man with the banner in the lot and decided to try this place. My sweet & sour chicken lunch special was a very good filling portion and even came with 2 very good crab rangoon. My friend loved her crispy chow mein. Can’t wait to try the good looking pizza. Will definitely be back! We had a very friendly server and they have an extensive Chinese and Italian menu along with both weekday lunch and dinner specials!“
“Tried Ukrainian food for the first time today at European Dumplings Café. It is isn't a big café, but is very cute and clean. The wife and I both had the borsh bowl with a pierogi which was delicious. My son, who is a picky eater, had the lamb dumplings and a chicken skewer and ate it all. He said he didn't know what to expect but really enjoyed it. Highly recommend you try this restaurant.“
