“Came here for their 3rd anniversary, missing home. The food did not disappoint! They got the poppy seed buns and Vienna beef oh my goodness it was so good! Place was packed but we got our food in a timely manner. Fries were excellent. Fresh, warm, seasoned, so good they didn't even need ketchup or a sauce. Chili cheese dog had a perfect distribution of chili and cheese, if it weren't so busy we probably would've gone back for more right then and there, but we will be back though. Small dining area but to be fair it was packed, on a less busy day it probably feels more roomy.“

“I came on a Thursday evening and the place was closed when it said it was to be open period I called the phone number and spoke to the person, they said they were on their way And did arrive started cooking and I got our foot pretty quick. “The burgers are absolutely outstanding. Freshly cooked with high quality meat. The french fries are also amazing and freshly cooked. You really don't need ketchup mustard or anything on the meal because it is good by itself. Self serve for iced tea. Sodas are in a can so you'll need to get a cup of ice.You have to pay and order before taking a seat in the restaurant. Everything is clean but it's not terribly fancy.“

“Teddy B's burgers might appear a little pricey but when you get your burger you'll understand the price matches the quality and quantity of the food. Absolutely amazing avocado burger however I took away one star because the side order of cucumber slices that I got instead of the french fries were EH to say the least. I gave atmosphere one star for the simple fact that the music was so loud I could not even talk to my husband without yelling and we were sitting next to each other. That is beyond annoying and definitely prevented me from wanting to stay and dine in so we took our food to go. Listen to your music as loud as you want but please please please turn it down when customers come in. We dine in because we're seeking a peaceful place to eat and not everybody likes the same music. Had it not been for that I would have given the atmosphere five stars.“

The lobby was busy, but the location was clean and well-maintained.The food was fresh, made to order, and the portions were as expected. The gentleman who took our order was friendly and efficient, handling multiple customers quickly. The entire crew was welcoming, greeting us upon arrival and saying goodbye as we left.The condiment area, including the ketchup, vinegar, and freestyle machine, was clean and well-stocked. The only machine out of service was the Hi-C dispenser, but that wasn't a problem since the other options were available.While I don't visit this location often due to the price, every experience has been positive. “I have never tried this place but kept seeing it. I love Birria sauce ( I've never heard of it until I went to Maria Bonitas). I ordered the Birria tacos (5). It was soo good. My grand daughter said she wanted to have her birthday party there. Lol... we will definitely go back. They are open 4pm to 1:45am everyday. Closed on Tuesdays.“

Obviously, they know a good thing when they make it, when they sell it and when they eat it. Here we are in San Antonio, Texas, and there are a couple of restaurants that specialize in authentic Vienna beef Chicago-style hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches. One is Chicago Hot Dogs, located at 12914 Jones Maltsberger Road, in Old Fashioned Donuts, near McAllister Park. Co-owner Anado Delatorre, a native Chicagoan, and his son run the restaurant. They started with a food truck and have escalated to a drive-in with a drive-through. Open from 11 to 8 Monday through Saturday and 11 to 6 on Sunday, the big sellers are the Chicago-style hot dog with 100 percent Vienna beef on a poppy seed bun with mustard, relish, onion, sport peppers, tomato, pickles and celery salt and the San Antonio hot dog with mustard, mayo and jalapenos topped with a Mexican sauce of bacon, onion, tomato and Mexican seasoning. The Italian beef sandwich is served on French bread with mozzarella, sweet peppers and hot giardiniera.
