“Stopped in from League City to grab lunch. 2 meat tray with 2 sides offered a ton of food for 2 to share. Sliced brisket was moist and well smoked. Well balanced bbq sauce is very tasty and just the right amount of vinegar and pepper. Mac n cheese was creamy and bbq beans were tasty! Homemade pickles were tart and crunchy. Abita root beer on tap was a nice surprise. Tasted my daughter's grilled cheese and the sharp cheddar made it a top notch grilled cheese. Kids meal is large and comes with either Mac n cheese or chips. Friendly service and atmosphere and definitely will return for more awesome food. Next trip I plan to try the Kat's Mac bowl.“

“I stumbled upon this hidden gem, I got ribs and brisket. Both were delicious, brisket was seasoned perfect, had a beautiful smoke ring and was very juicy and tender. Ribs were also really good, in my opinion they were perfect. The sauce I got with my order was fantastic. If you got a craving for bbq then stop by this place, you won't regret it.“

“I've been to this establishment at least four times & have enjoyed it tremendously. My only issue was that my first two visits, I was allowed to buy to-go margaritas for one, but on my 3rd visit, I was told that wasn't allowed & I would have to buy a half gallon or gallon. When I called on a later date I was told I could buy the 20 ounce. I explained that I was told no, someone checked & found out they just hadn't gotten any stickers to cover the hole.“

“This is one of the better barbecues in the southern Houston to Galveston area. I had half pound of brisket and a half pound of jalapeno sausage and both were terrific. It is the best brisket I have tried on this side of Texas. The barbecue sauce is a little mild for my liking but is tangy and good, I added jalapenos to my order from the bar and it was fine.Thry keep two BBQ sauces in kettles at the condiment bar, which is nice. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful, even the manager went around and asked how people's food was and if there was anything else we needed or that he could get us. The environment is country western and has comfortable seating. Definitely a five-star restaurant I would recommend this to anybody.Dietary restrictions: Keto, carnivore, lion.“

“Went by today to drop off a deer to be processed and ate while we were there, I had the sliced brisket sandwich my wife had the brisket tots. Absolutely delicious we will definitely be back great Folks Great Grub. Loved the ambience like being in a country store but in the heart of Dickinson. Give em a try I know you will be pleased“

“This is a well stocked Walmart with the usual fare. One thing I wished they had were large low carb tortillas. I always appreciate the lower cost of their grocery items and the convenience of all the other stuff you can get at Walmart. Sadly, most of their clothing is too small, but one can almost find just about whatever they need at a Walmart. This one is no exception.“

She had sausage, chicken and ribs. We ordered different side...I ordered onion rings as an "appetizer" also.Do how do they "finish" their BBQ different from all the big names.... tender, lots of smoke and NO GREASE. I feel the bog names either don't render the fat out, or they ADD fat grease back in to try to keep their meat tender. EITHER way it leaves all their Q greasy.JOE's meats while having the good flavor of FAT, they are not greasy. While being fork tender they are NOT greasy.Joe's is topnotch BBQ....if you are in or thru Alvin on Tx 6 or 35....stop In and get your BBQ itch scratched. Better than all the BIG Names....IMO....YASSS.Price to value excellent or above.“

“After church, I had been craving a sliced beef sandwich with Potato Salad. I was headed home, and decided to stop here. I am Super, Uber glad I did. This place is very, very nice and clean inside. TV's to watch every different Sports Major win there. The Food was DELICIOUS !! OMG! You have got to try this place. There were other people there, atmosphere friendly, and did I mention the Food? Get over there as soon as you can. I was not disappointed at all.. Texas Pit Stop, I will be back next Sunday, after church ❤❤“

“My family first time being here. Everything was great. Crawfish and crab clusters were delicious great flavor. Shrimp was overcooked. Calamari was ok. No flavor in the batter. Same with my daughters chicken tenders ,no flavor. All in all we have a awesome waiter named Kevin. He was very attentive and professional and deserves a raise. We will be returning! Recommend for everyone to try at least once!!“
