“It doesnt look like much from the road and we stopped by on a Wednesday which has a limited menu but the Turkey Bacon Sandwich was delicious. The place itself was really cool too!”

“My husband and I celebrated our anniversary tonight with a delicious dinner and let’s just say we didn’t hold back on the menu 😅 The House Wedge Salad was absolutely incredible. The small charcuterie board was just the right size for the two of us, and every bite was spot-on. My husband couldn’t get enough of the Wicked Heat Flatbread. We sampled four out of five tapas and… wow. Just wow. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere made it feel truly special. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“I love the history of this business. It is intriguing that it's over 100 years old. I believe it is the same building since the beginning. There on the corner of the square, tempting people as they pass. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are a little too high for us, but we did get a cookie and a couple of tiny pies. They were yummy. It was worth stopping by, but since we live so far away, we will keep the memory close.”

“I never had a meat chili rellano. It was alright but still perfer traditional cheese stuffed ones. Fajitas tacos with chicken were delicious. Salsa is very good. I'd go back again.”

“Slaton bakery has been around as far back as I can remember. They have such great treats. It’s also a bit of an antique shop. I saw a few metal lunch boxes for sale and it brought back so many memories. The cake I ordered was superb.”

“Update: Closed Permanently according to phone message . Aug 2022. Previous review: Ordered 2 pizzas. One with 4 meats, bell peppers and jalapenos. Second had almost everything. Both were great. Definitely will be back.”

“My first time trying this place out with my parents who always go. Seems like a lil hole in the wall kind of place coming to the parking lot. Not going to lie my father always finds places like this and it’s nerve raking sometimes. I was really surprised once I stepped inside it was nice and clean. Cute restaurant, even has a small bar with beer and liquor. Drive thru window. I ordered a Michilada it was really good!! I also ordered a chicken fajita taco salad it was good as well! Probably some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in the Slaton/Lubbock area!! I will come back again!!”

“The food was hot and fresh. We miss the old atmosphere with music and roller skates. We do understand that it is dangerous and many people do not know how to skate but it was lost it's luster in that sense. The food is exactly what they advertise. Love the new fries, burgers are good, drinks are AWESOME. We miss the old hot dogs. The Texas dog, the Chicago Dog, the foot long coney used to be packed full, lots of cheese, the meat was much bigger and juicey. It is just not the same.”
