“That was our first time, the bar b que was good. We got ribs, chicken pinto beans, and potato salad, it was a good amount of food for 2 people, The sauce was good too. I got pictures of their hours of business and 2 gentlemen that passed away. awww RIP guys.“

“We are big fans of 1775 and frequent regularly. When it came time to cater our wedding, it was a no brainer what we wanted. Brad and his team executed flawlessly. We had a spread including their brisket, turkey, sausage, smoked mac and cheese, loaded mashed potatoes, and cucumber salad. Our guests raved that the food was the best wedding food they’d ever had. Some amateur pitmaster guests were even trying to get some tips from the 1775 team on how they could recreate such delicious food. The portions were so generous we have meals upon meals of leftovers vacuum sealed in our freezer - much better than a frozen top tier of a wedding cake! Seriously, these people are absolutely wonderful, and we fully believe they have some of the best BBQ in the state of Texas (and yes, we’ve tried a lot!). We would love to keep this wonderful place our local hidden gem, but we think they should be in Texas Monthly’s Top 50 BBQ list.“
“very good BBQ. I eat here almost every Friday. they stay busy. I work at the Pivo Barn and people are always coming through and asking if we sell the BbW, and I have to tell them no and when they are open. Friday and Saturday from 10:30 until it's gone“

“Very unique place.Drinks were excellent and food was great!Definitely coming back in near future. Props to our server Trent for suggesting drinks and food. Make sure to get a table where you can see the runway of the airport.Vegetarian options: Lots of options for side dishes and you can request to make it meat free.“

“We stopped in for a bite to eat and we are so glad we did. Carissa and Cedric were courteous and sincere. We had the smothered ribs with cabbage and beans, and the Salisbury steak with greens and beans. There wasn’t anything that wasn’t excellent! We will definitely be back! Thank you, Carissa and Cedric. They clearly take a lot of pride in their food!“
