Me and my boyfriend have this kind of ritual every pay day we go after work and pick up some omg fries, the quesadillas, and some dumplings because nothing beats the flavor. Whatever we don’t finish we pop in the air fryer the next morning and it’s good as new. We used to go to the food truck next to yo-yo’s all the time, and then they opened the Westheimer galleria restaurant. It’s closer to us so we like to go there and pick it up and take home for a night in.Parking: There’s plenty of parking, especially if you’re going in the afternoon. “One of the better AYCE KBBQ spots in Houston. The dinning area is very large so we've never had trouble seating and we’ve never felt rushed like some other places. They have a button you can push and a waitress will quickly come to take your order for more meat. While there are a lot of options you can self-serve like the bulgogi and spicy pork, the better options are ordered. The beef tongue is my favorite. Beef belly, pork belly, pork cheeks, galbi and beef brisket are all good too. One lesser known option is the pineapple galbi, it's a relatively large cut of meat and the pineapple is great grilled. We like to order the pineapple separately as first dessert before the ice cream.Parking: Large lot in the shopping center. There's always enough parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids 5-10 are $17.99, which isn't bad if they are closer to 10 and eat enough.“

“This was my first time visiting Longhorn Steakhouse. My overall experience was good. The greeters at the entryway of the restaurant could have been a little bit more cheerful/friendly but they did greet us. So that was good. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. We initially had a bit of a wait to be greeted/acknowledged by anyone once we were seated. However, we later realized our waitress, Toni was serving double duties. So that was the reason for the wait. She was the bartender and our waitress. But she did an excellent job at multitasking with both duties. Once she greeted us everything was great. She made my martini and it was wonderful! She always made sure we were taken care of. And that was with managing double duties. She was courteous and friendly.The food was good and hot. I think my baked potato was overly salty though. But other than that, I enjoyed my meal. The brisket queso as an appetizer is a great choice. It was fresh and delicious. It can also double as extra cheese on your baked potato if you still have some left when your dinner arrives. Our salad was fresh as well. I will definitely return and will definitely request Toni as my waitress AND bartender!“

“Good place, but it's not cheap. I got sliced brisket, potato salad and boudain balls. The brisket is up to par with other Texas BBQ places, nice smokiness, and fork tender, not quite fall apart tender, but it's very good. The potato salad was great, kinda tangy, works well with the creamy mayo and mustard goodness. The boudain balls are huge, the size of baseballs. The boudain was mostly rice, with a hint of liver, and I like more liver in my boudain. I'd still recommend them though. The service was good here too. No waiting in long lines. My order was out in 10 minutes. Boogie did me right. I have a minor issue with the ambience of the place. There's lots of Black Pride propaganda on the wall. Here in Texas, blacks and whites just get along together without much animosity. But Boogie is from Chicago, so I can understand why he has animosity towards whites. This doesn't detract from the fact they know what they're doing here, and if you don't mind dropping a few more dollars, it's gonna be worth it. Also, two people after me ordered turkey burgers here, so that must be a popular item. I plan and stopping by and trying one another time, just to see.“

“I called to check if Dave was serving food because he is a roadside, weekend vendor who barbecues in a parking lot. He was on his way to buy more meat to cook, so I put in a request for beef ribs and chicken. Later, Dave called me to give me a heads up when the food was going to be ready. When I arrived, Dave greeted me with a welcoming smile and let me know that the food was almost ready. He wanted to cook it a little longer to make sure the ribs were tender.I chatted with other people hanging out with Dave, and it was quite friendly, like I was at a friend's backyard cook out.
