“My family and I enjoyed a really delicious dinner at Costa Fina. The upscale ambiance and modern midcentury style of the restaurant make it a jewel in The Woodlands. My son had the lamb shank and it was "one of the best meals he's ever had." I had the chicken costa fina and the presentation and preparation of the meal was fantastic! My husband had carne asada and it was different and delicious. We all enjoyed the smoked guacamole as an appetizer and the banana's foster (with plantains). Both were fantastic. This restaurant really brings unusual, tasty food, and an upscale, lovely place for couples and families to share special times together. Of course, both times we enjoyed dinner at this restaurant, the thoughtful and professional waitstaff attended to our needs with deference and consideration.”

“The Refuge was way above and beyond our expectations, and we had really high expectations for this place!!! Their commitment to excellent customer service is out of this world mind blowingly amazing!!! The quality and taste of the food was so perfect that words can not give it it’s proper due!!! The drink selection is mammoth!!! This is definitely one of the top three steakhouse restaurants in the Greater Houston metropolitan area!!! That speaks volumes!!! It’s definitely worth every penny of the price!!! We are definitely looking very forward to coming back here again and again!!! Great for a date night or for the kids and family!!! “New nice spot in Creekside. Inside looks nice and food is good. Would not recommend the Red Beans and Rice. Very bland. Rice seems like instant rice and beans close to refried beans from a can. Business is new but the servers need a bit more knowledge of the menu. We knew more of the menu from social media but looking for the personal interaction. Main issue was the $6 each charge for a single scoop of Connie's Custard when Connie's charges $4.57 for a Jumbo. Suggestion would be to add a mini scoop option for the kiddos at a much more resonable price and/or include with the kids meal. Will visit again and hopefully staff can speak more of the menu, specials, or options for substitution. Just giving an honest review as yall are new.”

“On July 12 my grandmother and I went to lunch at Top Sushi when a huge storm came in. The manager who has always been so friendly, welcoming, and kind was there and went to every table offering to walk each customer to their car with his personal umbrella. While I went to grab the car he stayed with my grandmother, held her things, and made sure she got in the car dry while he got hit by the rain. He also showed such concern to me making sure I wasn’t driving far and told me we were more than welcome to stay at the restaurant until the storm is over. I was so moved by his gracious acts and being a genuinely great person. You don’t see that anymore and I am so appreciative of him. I did not get his name but I want him to know how much that moved my grandmother and I. Thank you!!”

“I have really been looking forward to going to this restaurant but after reading December reviews it appears something happened during that month and I think I'll wait to see reviews from January before I decide. I love the ambiance of the place the fact that it's small and cozy and the menu appealed it to me but if the execution, service and availability is not there then what fronted out as an excellent experience leaves a bad taste on the end. I really hope to read that things have turned around since your last reviews. And do bear in mind that I know that people might complain for reasons that have nothing to do with the restaurant however that being said if they took the time to post it on the site I'm going to keep it in my mind until I read differently. “Awesome locally owned mom and pop taco truck at Kuykendahl and Dowdell by the Valero, another contender for the coming soon Nick's Local Eats - Top 10 Taco Truck/Taqueria / Gas station Tacos list. For You For Me Tacos.com is great, we had a sampling of some of Omar Barranco and his wife Rosy menu items and meats. The Chorizo Egg & Potatoe and Chorizo & Potatoes are very good here. The gorditas are made fresh from scratch daily, we had it with pastor. Barbacoa taco was so flavorful and not a greasy mess like other places. Beef Fajita tostada is a steal for $4 bucks. The beef fajitas burrito was packed with goodness of fajitas, rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and cheese. Chicken Tinga Torta another winner! We also had Guava Water which is amazing! I can't believe they have been there four years and never stopped to try them. Small covered and adorable dining room is next door to the truck. Mon - Sat 7am - 5pm. Definitely a top 5 taco truck contender, you can tell the owners care of the level and good quality of food they are putting out. Btw, they also do full catering. Go support a local gem soon. When brought out, the bowl is hot enough to eat and when vegetables are added. I chose the regular sized bowl. The contents inside were delicious. The pork sausage is delicious, the pork trotters are soft enough. This place has seating inside and two Café tables outside. The parking lot is very large and the security is extremely good. There are polite, agile and friendly staff - working very efficiently. “I encountered this food truck while it was parked at Misfit Outpost Brewery, and it really brings the heat with its Nashville Hot Chicken. I got the two-tender basket with one at Next Level (their 3rd hottest) and one at Full Send (their 2nd hottest). This was some very tasty chicken, and I would put the Next Level above Hot on my scale, headed toward Fiery. The Full Send is beyond Fiery, but not too close to Insane. That one definitely set my mouth on fire, but I made it through the full tender and rather enjoyed it. That goat cheese slaw is also quite tasty and it helps cool down you mouth between bites of the spicy chicken.

I believe I am now qualified to move on to the O’Cluck level (their hottest) next time around, but I am guessing that one will lean more heavily toward the painful side. If you are looking for less heat, the OG Nashville should have you covered. But whatever heat level you choose, you can't go wrong with these tenders (and they do chicken sandwiches as well).”

The jerk chicken wings were just as tasty with the smoky flavor of the pit, imean definitely a must order! I also tried a side of collard greens, and they had so much flavor and were very delicious! I keep saying flavor flavor, but this is something their food does not lack.
