“We had the best tomatoe soup here- it had goat cheese “marshmallow” and the flavor was delicious! We also tried the sun-dried tomato, southwest chicken and smoked salmon soufflé and loved them all. For dessert. The chocolate and seasonal banana foster soufflé was the perfect end to a delicious meal. Somehow we managed to eat all the food! Also the complimentary bread and butter was a nice touch! Cannot wait to be back!”

“On July 12 my grandmother and I went to lunch at Top Sushi when a huge storm came in. The manager who has always been so friendly, welcoming, and kind was there and went to every table offering to walk each customer to their car with his personal umbrella. While I went to grab the car he stayed with my grandmother, held her things, and made sure she got in the car dry while he got hit by the rain. He also showed such concern to me making sure I wasn’t driving far and told me we were more than welcome to stay at the restaurant until the storm is over. I was so moved by his gracious acts and being a genuinely great person. You don’t see that anymore and I am so appreciative of him. I did not get his name but I want him to know how much that moved my grandmother and I. Thank you!!”

“Let me tell yall something, I LOVE Boudin Sausage and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. Mega Meltz has some great quality Boudin and when they made a Boudin Grilled Cheese with fresh sliced jalapeños, I wanted to shout about it from the rooftops. I found my new comfort food treat and can’t wait to go back and try several other things!! We also grabbed a kids fish basket and let me tell you, that fish was perfectly fresh, tender and the cornmeal breading was seasoned to perfection!!”

I love the ambiance of the place the fact that it's small and cozy and the menu appealed it to me but if the execution, service and availability is not there then what fronted out as an excellent experience leaves a bad taste on the end. I really hope to read that things have turned around since your last reviews. And do bear in mind that I know that people might complain for reasons that have nothing to do with the restaurant however that being said if they took the time to post it on the site I'm going to keep it in my mind until I read differently. As a creature of habit, I most often have a pastry and black coffee so nothing too exotic but it is delicious every time and every now and then, like today, I earn a free one through their rewards program. Fresh made bread is also delicious as a take home item. Nice quiet areas to work along with open areas for socializing so it has something for all visitors, including a covered outdoor seating area. Plenty of seating that is so often scarce in other coffee shops. The live houseplants bring the outside feeling indoors.”

“The menu is simple and the food is good. I’m a sucker for a sandwich and Chicken Salad Chick offers an alternative to the sub shops that are scattered all over the place. For about 12 or 13 dollars you get a good sandwich, a side dish, a drink, and a cookie. It’s a perfect size lunch that’s been well-prepared using fresh ingredients. I want to liken the menu to a jazz tune, with a central theme but variation throughout the execution. Simple, yet classic.”

“The food is good here and the portions are huge. The pluses are that the ingredients are very fresh and the food is flavorful. I loved the complementary Tom Yum soup. We both had chicken dishes and while the sauces and vegetables were great, the chicken was rather ho-hum, like it was cooked in a big batch plain, and then added to the dish rather than being cooked in the dish. I could be wrong, though. I'll get shrimp next time. The kitchen forgot to put the cashews in the cashew chicken but that was made right as soon as we pointed it out.

I got the shrimp glass noodle salad on the side, knowing I would take some home, and wow, it was a LOT. They hid the shrimp, as you'll note in the picture, and there were way too many noodles, but there were loads of shrimp, perhaps 10, and they were large. The last picture is the salad I plated out of the leftovers, with way less noodles.The eggroll at the beginning was a nice surprise, and its sauce was delicious, but I wish the sauce had been on the side because it got a little soggy. This is a minor detail, though. The sauce was so good that I poured it over my glass noodles salad.

I think our server was new and there are always a few hiccups, but they were caring. One of the more senior staff members noticed that I wasn't eating much of the glass noodles / shrimp salad and was concerned that I might not like it. I reassured her that it was just that I was gettin full and I ordered it to have a take-home for lunch the next day.

The food is well seasoned really tasty just doesn't taste super fresh. Definitely dry fajita meat but it was good and the value was good. I was the only one there and there was a mountain of more beef meat on the grill going, with a food truck across the street with a line of a couple cars worth. So maybe they should think about cooking the meat to order, fresh is best!”

“I'm so glad I didnt let a few negative reviews stop my wife and I from going to this spot. After visiting Old Town Tomball for the first time and walking around we decided to check this place out and we were so not disappointed. Morgan our waitress was so sweet and personable and even though they were short staffed and pretty busy I never felt unattended to. She gave perfect customer service simple as that. The grub was delicious! I am not sure what batter they use to fry the fried Pickles but holy hell were they addictive! We had the Hickory burger and the Brie burger as well and I have absolutely no complaints. We will definitely be back to try some of the homemade desserts as well but we were wayyyyy to full for it today heh. 10 out of 10 experience !”

Your employees worked together, Your Food was excellent, your staff was attentive, your restrooms were clean, your kitchen CLEAN.. your tables CLEANED as they should be. Your hostess was communicating with BUSER on what tables needed to be cleaned. It can be done.. and it showed tonight. I could not be more impressed. Jeffrey was checking on everyone.. even working side by side with his crew. It was TEAMWORK at its finest. If you tried the CHILIS in Tomball.. and had a just okay .. or a bad experience.. I encourage you to try again. The management matters. They have a manager that works with his TEAM.. not BOSS them. It shows.. way to go Chilis.. and most of all way to go Jeffrey.”

“The Whataburger on Rittiman Rd in San Antonio has the most precious precious treasure. They have an older man working there (I see him during lunch hours) that is the sweetest, most adorable gem. It's hard for elderly folks to find employment, so for this reason alone, I'm giving Whataburger 5 stars. DO NOT lose that sweet sweet guy.”

I definitely check their website to check how busy they are before coming as they can get very busy at times and the wait can be of up to 20 minutes sometimes.”
