“Dead End Trading Post was a pleasant surprise to say the least. Plenty of parking, super laid back atmosphere with amazing food! We had the brisket tacos and potato skins and we were both full. Live music on the weekends! This place is a hidden gem y’all, go check it out!“
“The Taco Tuesday deals are easily the best in town. Smokey fish tacos were perfect!!! The portobello tacos and green sauce were a huge hit too.. Unfortunately they were out of the grab-and-go menudo, so I got a different soup which is amazing and I forget the name.. The enchiladas weren't good but maybe they will work on that. Corn tortillas with chicken chunks and sour cream sauce seemed lacking to me.“
“First time coming here since it opened on July 17th 2021. The portion was great as well as the taste of it. It had a lot going on which makes the price understandable. The owner was very kind and friendly. For future references; y'all, remember it is a small place, be understandable if there is a line. I got the number 8 and my mom got number 7. I truly recommend this tasty place.“
“Best Waygu Burger I've ever had in my life. By far!The Manager is really cool, and Lindsey at the bar was the best! Great ambience, and good people. Can't wait to go back for more menu items. Ate my burger so fast didn't even take a picture, which I love to do.“
“Fantastic atmosphere. Excellent service. Fabulous food. Very much enjoyed the bread that was served to our table. It came on a cutting board with a knife attached to the board. We giggled a bit that it looked like a guillotine and was appropriate for a French restaurant.Shared the jambon and geyere soufflé. My dining companion felt that there was not a lot of flavor to the soufflé. Shared the chocolate soufflé for dessert best part of the meal.“
“This place is awesome! They've got god knows how many board/card games (literal bookcases filled with them, just like my blood father used to have) and the food was pretty good. I had the grilled chicken sandwich (no sauce, can't handle spicy stuff) with sweet potatoe fries (sweet potatoe fries!) And sweet tea. So that stuff was great at least. The tables are nice and sealed, staff was friendly, general atmosphere/patrons were great, nothing particularly critical to comment on from my end.Date wasn't a fan of her cosmo, but I don't drink so I can't comment on that.Speaking of which, great spot for a date (first or otherwise) as well as a good family spot, just make sure your kids aren't the rowdy type (but isn't that something to keep in mind for everywhere?)They were also cool with you bringing in your own games (we played magic: the gathering personally)Bring your partner, bring your friends, bring your family. Bring your games! It's a great all around spot, and they've even got outside tables if your the sort for that (I don't recommend it if you're playing a game, pieces/cards can get blown away too easily.)Kid-friendliness: Idk about you guys, but I've been playing board and card games since I was a kid, and I would've loved going to this place back then.“
“Had the spiced rum draft. So delicious! Went on a Tuesday night with a friend and we had the whole place to ourselves. They had a wide assortment of games to play, so we will be going back to try more ciders and different games. Only thing is that the beer was $10 which seems super steep to me, but I just moved back from living abroad and everything is crazy expensive now anyway :(“
“They've always had pretty solid beers, but over the last 2-3 years they've been steadily getting better. They have a great selection and it's a great place to hang out. The patio is perfect for a nice day. You can also grab food from any of the restaurants around to enjoy with your beer“
“Soma Winery is an absolute gem for wine enthusiasts! The variety of wines they offer is impressive, and the knowledgeable staff is always there to guide you through the tasting experience. I recently hosted my Valentine's party there, and it was a hit! The cozy ambiance, combined with the delicious wines, made for a memorable evening. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just looking for a special place to celebrate, Soma Winery is a fantastic choice. Cheers to a wonderful time! Can't wait for next month's event“
“The best burger I have had in years. The meat is superb and the veggies are great. Everything about the burgers is excellent down to the buns being toasted to perfection. The owners are very friendly.Vegetarian options: They have an ultimate veggie burger.“
“I got a chance to eat here at lunch today and the food is incredible! Everything looked wonderful, and I hated having to just choose one meal. I had the roasted vegetable lasagna, which was fantastic. It’s a shame. This is not closer as I would be there very frequently, but I cannot wait to go back and try some of their other foods.Vegetarian options: Seem to have several vegetarian options on their menu, and at the counter that are not listed, and they are fantastic!“
“Very good BBQ. We got the brisket, pulled pork, and bacon burnt belly tips(I believe that's what it's called). All were very good, my favorite was the bacon burnt belly tips, so good. Full of flavor mmmm good. The hatch green chili Mac and cheese was fire ?. Everything looked and smelled amazing. A little spendy, but it's expected. Highly recommend“
“Love all the healthy side options. We need more vegetables and fruit options in our diet. This place has a nice selection of healthy sides. There are too many carbs that have been genetically modified by man. It is making us sick. Eat healthier.“
“Big fan everything is in house high quality espresso and good quality coffee. If you’re in Down town fort worth this is definitely a spot to stop by. Everything is fresh and on the healthier side as well. A new favorite spot for Alex the macchiato guy.“
“Week morning graveyard shifter gem. Welcoming all the over night workers and early risers. Good variety in drinks and plenty of seating to enjoy your drinks with friends or get some extra work done. Clean bathrooms and a pool table are a plus!“
“Salted caramel, and their seasonal flavours are always a treat to try out. Take a pint of their popular flavours with you; you will not be disappointed.Parking: There is free parking in front of Melt and across Magnolia Street, as well as in the parking lot behind the building. Magnolia street is a busy street with lots of restaurants, cafés and bars, so parking is usually tough to find on weekends. During weekdays, and later in the evenings, it is easier to find a parking spot.“
“We went with some friends last night. They have been before but it was our first time checking it out. We had so much fun! Great music, nachos were very tasty and the drink menu is very good and not too pricey! We had green beer which is made with their blonde house beer and I loved it! We also tried several of their whiskeys and vodka. We ended up buying a couple to bring home with us. My fiancé loved it so much he even bought a TShirt. We can’t wait to go back again. This may turn in to being our regular spot!“
“This is my new favorite place in Fort Worth. Not just the stockyards, Fort Worth. Not just Fort Worth, actually, all of DFW. The frybread is next level. The burger is juicy and bad for you in all the right ways. It's relaxed, filling, and owned/operated by Choctaw women. It does not get any better than this, anywhere. It should be on everyone's list. Mvto!!!“
“I really enjoy my burger. Also, it the meal came with fries and a drink. Which is a bonus because most places are starting to do a la carte, and it's making everything expensive. I will be back.Parking: They have a limited amount of parking spots, due to it being attached to a gas station.“
“Being from Louisiana it was very hard to find an authentic "snowball stand". We were so excited when we came across pelicans because they're based in Louisiana and they definitely understood the snowball assignment. The flavors are there, when i say condensed milk they know what I'm talking about! They have games outside by the tables if you want to enjoy your snowball while the kids play. Also their customer service is always A1!“
“Cool concept, very clearly a bar / club but does coffee in the AM . They do it well and I like the vibe/ room to sit. Seating Feels like you’re a vip in the morning compared to most coffee shops and the standard college student / aspiring book author. When I’m in FW I’ll definitely frequent this place for remote work.“
“I was initially drawn here a few years ago for the cozy, modestly traditional, and intimate atmosphere and decor. All of which this establishment does really well. Their kitchen is partially open so that you can see sushi being prepared, and the interior is small enough so that it feels like a more private venue. The food quality is unparalleled in the dfw area, you’re gonna be hard pressed to find better quality sushi outside of maybe a couple unique dining experience establishments. They have a pretty standard selection of appetizers which are really good, but not where they stand out from other sushi places with exceptions the Tuna Tower and Masunosuke Crudo which are higher dollar items for appetizers but other reviews rave about these items. They have a reasonably wide menu of rolls which is where they start to do really well for themselves. I typically divide rolls into a few categories: basic favorites (less complex in composition, wider appeal), authentic selections (truer to Japanese sushi), Complex Rolls (typically signature items that can be authentic or Americanized). They have enough of the basics you could take your kids here and have no issue ordering, and even if you prefer more nuanced sushi they do their basics well enough so that they will still be enjoyed. Their authentic rolls arent clearly indicated on the menu which I would prefer if they were, but if you know what you’re looking for it’s not hard to pick out really good items which were on parr with sushi I have had in the Marianas and southern pacific islands. Their complex rolls encompass both American as well as authentic compositions, but both accomplish the culinary purpose of sushi incredibly well. A particular favorite of mine that I’ve seen other reviews praise is the rocky roll, that roll was so good that I have continued to think about and have a craving for a week after last I had it.Their service has been quick, friendly, and knowledgeable about their menu every time I have been.I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant, if you are a sushi enthusiast living in dfw this is a spot you must try.Vegetarian options: They have a decently sized vegetarian menu with items of from their appetizers, entrees, and rollsParking: Ridglea Village Shopping Center has plenty of parking spaces that are all free.Kid-friendliness: This is a more quiet and intimate restaurant, so its not the most ideal spot to bring young children, however they have plenty of items I’d have enjoyed as a kid, so you can definitely bring them along.“
“Met a girlfriend here for lunch and we had a ball. The place is really clean, the food is so yummy (even with my restricted diet), and the decor is fab! Make sure you grab the cucumber water from their patioVegetarian options: You get to pick you protein on most things so it's easy to get exactly what you want! And everything is clearly marked if it vegetarian or veganDietary restrictions: They also clearly make their gluten free options which are numerous INCLUDING DESSERT“
“Kailey T. was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal! She took such care of our food allergies, making sure to note them on the order and reviewing our food with us personally. She accommodated the many requests of our family of five with grace and ease. She was absolutely amazing to have as a server! We will definitely be back again!“
“Best place for juices, slushes, boba, pies, cakes. The people here are super sweet and the place itself is clean and cute to take quick selfies or even relax and do homework. Me and my son love to come here to get a drink and sit and relax.“
“First time visiting here. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger. I was pleasantly surprised when it came out. It was made well. It was not overcooked, and the surprise was that it came with Jalapeño Bacon. I thought that was really good as I like Jalapeño Bacon. The fries were hot and crispy, and they had this Rootbeer that was amazing. All in all, it was a great experience. Will be back again soon.“
“We throughly enjoyed our time here with 6 people in our group. The staff were super nice and attentive. He took the time to help one of our people with throwing as she was having a hard time. He checked on us multiple times and is clearly passionate in what he does.Great assortment of alcoholic beverages and a very chill place to hang out.I had called asking if those who didn’t want to axe throw needed to pay for a reservation and he said anyone can just come to hang out without paying. Very nice! The place is very clean and was a blast for all of us! Would recommend to all of our friends and family. We will definitely be coming back.“
“This was the best atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed everything, and the staff was very attentive to our group. The Rattlesnake was the #1 frozen drink. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the Rattlesnake on my last visit due to high demand. ? The "Moon Tang" sufficed. If ever in Ft. Worth again, I will definitely visit. Let me tell you a secret....the burgers are GREAT!Vegetarian options: The burger patties can be substituted according to your dietary preferences. I had a Blue Goat burger but substituted my protein to the Impossible Burger patty.“
“My family and I had a great experience. I tried the Caramel Sea Salt and it was great! The store was cute and clean. Michelle, the young lady waiting on us, was very knowledgeable and courteous. Go check it out, you'll be glad you did.“
“I’m proud to say my hometown of Ft. Worth has the best breweries I’ve EVER been to and I do t think many other breweries in Texas themselves would disagree. Really wonderful, inventive beers but these folks also know how to brew a staple. Really nice space off the Trinity that’s dog friendly with friendly folks all around and a wonderful taproom with beers to go. Love yall, sincerely.“
“This place is fantastic. Food is 5 stars+ and on par with the best BBQ joints in DFW. The brisket is out of this world, possibly the best in NTX area. The beef sausage is equally as good, as are the sides. Mac n Cheese, Potato Salad, Corn, etc. I'm only giving it 4 Stars because of the service. There's only one person taking orders for the entire place and then it takes a solid 15-20mins to get your order after that. Every other top BBQ place in DFW you order at the counter and get your food as you pay. The food is fantastic but the fact that after you order you still have to wait 20mins to get your food... it's not the greatest.“
“This was our first time. The restaurant next door recommended we try it! Sandy & Sammy were amazing! They were so friendly and nice! We will definitely be returning! Thank you Sandy & Sammy for an amazing first impression! We told Sandy we adopted her into our family. We will be returning soon!“
“I really had a great experience at this brewery. The beers were on the expensive side in the taproom but the quality was obvious. Solid marks on all the styles I tried. Food was good too. Don’t love that they don’t can their own beers but next time I’ll bring a growler“
“Went for breakfast and had a great experience. Staff were friendly, food was brought out quickly, and tasted great. The chilaquiles was a standout dish. Even got to enjoy watching The Lone Ranger while we sipped on the complimentary coffee. Got out of there with two breakfasts, two coffees, and an OJ for just over $30 which I feel is pretty rare these days. I can't wait to go back and try their lunch/dinner menu.“
“We went to The Post at River East to see Davy Knowles. The venue was intimate for an impressive acoustic set. (We've seen Knowles the last three times he's been in DFW, and the acoustic show was our favorite.) Service was especially good -- warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food good; we only had a Pinot to drink, but it was more than respectable. A great evening! Thank you!!“
“It is always such a pleasure to spend time here with friends. It is always such a calm and cozy atmosphere. The drinks are actually amazing, probably one of the best! They are very consistent with their flavors. I'm never disappointed!“
“Been by here several times so I had to stop on such a nice night on the bike. Ordered the 3 Quesa Tacos y Consume. They are excellent. Comes with 3 sauces. The only thing that would make this better is a Dos XX. Better than some others I had. Very moist and full of flavor. For a taco truck I mean trailer it's a good place. I will be back to try something else for sure.“
“This was our first time eating at this location and I would say that the service, the atmosphere and just about everything at this place was perfect for breakfast/brunch if you are wanting something really good to eat or drink and be conversational with the people who would be joining you. Our server Natalie was amazing and I really loved talking with her for the small moments we got to exchange conversations and I would definitely recommend this to a friend or come back myself! Keep it up staff! You guys are doing an excellent job!“
“They had bagels and cream cheese for the kids, and plenty of fun and interesting coffee drink options. They knew how to make a cortado ❤️Parking was easy to miss; you have to immediately turn into the driveway to the right of it and park in the spots labeled for Vaquero coffee customers only ?Kid-friendliness: Some games available , plus hot chocolate“
“I really love their Philly Cheese Steak, I gave it a 4 because the roll was just a bit off, it was the #6 in the last bag of rolls, they were slammed last nite (Friday) and I got there @ 6:45 Cassie & Chris “rock both the service & grill” Voted the Best (imho) authentic Philly Cheese steak in Fort Worth - I’ll be back???PS - be sure to try Cassie’s Aielo sauce?❤️“
“A nice clean establishment with great customer service. Two employees made suggestions and showed me where to find the items I needed. I purchased a few desserts and fresh baked breads. I will return to try additional items including the sandwich station, freshly baked focaccia, and rotisserie chicken.“
“Holy cow, this place is phenomenal! This food is amazing, and the brisket is tender, juicy, and delicious. 28 dollars for the buffet is steep, but it's worth every penny. The atmosphere can get a bit loud -- try to go when it is less busy and staff can be more accommodating! ?8.5/10“
“We love CCG! It has a cheers atmosphere and we love sitting at the bar and meeting new people. The staff is fabulous especially Loren, Ariel and Scott and Hunter. I feel bad because we have been going there for 14 years and I'm just now writing a review! CCG has 5 stars for us! Come check it out!“
“Great spot with delicious ramen and other Japanese inspired food. I love to get the dry garlic with a side of broth. Small but good selection of sake, plus your favorite local beers and plenty of cocktails. They also have a pretty sweet patio with a full service bar.Parking: The parking situation is terrible. Parking lot is always full and it's really hard to pay. Wabi does give you a code for parking but the parking company makes it really hard to use and if you forgot to check out they'll just keep charging you the max amount.“
“We're not big beer drinkers but we love ciders and Wild T. It's a hard tea but this is the only bar in our area that serves it. The food is super delicious! The chicken strips are 100% legit chicken breast. Way better than any restaurant. We've been there when there's been a Christmas costume contest, chili cook-off and they've had vendors there where we've bought a ton of stuff including jewelry and art. There's always something going on there but still we go back for the drinks, yummy food, friendly servers and great atmosphere.“
“The fish and chips were great; the fries needed a little salt, but that's no big deal with salt at the table. The coleslaw looked like it was 50% sauce, which might bother someone who likes coleslaw. It wasn't busy when we went, but we didn't see much of our server; this, however, wasn't an issue during this visit.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu“
“I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the exquisite menudo at La Pasadita Mexican Restaurant in White Settlement, and I must say, it was an absolute delight for the senses! Combined with their exceptional service, my experience at La Pasadita was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The staff at La Pasadita went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my visit. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to my dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - their menudo. La Pasadita's menudo is a true masterpiece. The rich and flavorful broth, infused with aromatic spices, created a symphony of taste that left me longing for more. The tender chunks of tripe, perfectly cooked, added a delightful texture to each spoonful. Accompanied by the traditional condiments of chopped onions, cilantro, and lime, every bite was a harmonious blend of flavors. La Pasadita's menudo truly captured the essence of authentic Mexican cuisine. The portion size of the menudo was generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. The care and attention to detail in its preparation were evident, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs at La Pasadita. It was evident that they take pride in serving dishes of the highest quality.I must also commend the exceptional service provided by the staff at La Pasadita. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring that every guest had a memorable dining experience. From promptly taking orders to providing recommendations and answering any questions, their dedication to customer satisfaction was truly commendable. The overall atmosphere of La Pasadita Mexican Restaurant was inviting. The restaurant's cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols were also reassuring, creating a worry-free environment for guests. In conclusion, La Pasadita Mexican Restaurant not only excels in providing an exceptional menudo experience but also offers outstanding service. The combination of flavorful menudo, attentive staff, and inviting ambiance makes it a top choice for anyone seeking an authentic Mexican culinary adventure. If you are a fan of Mexican cuisine or simply looking to indulge in a delicious bowl of menudo, La Pasadita Mexican Restaurant is the perfect destination.“
“A lot of time has passed between my visit and this review. So, some of this may be out of date. This place was awesome. Really good beers, good pricing, helpful staff, and amazing environment. They are family friendly with a ton of activities for kids and adults alike. There is a lot of color in the place, and you can tell that they don’t take themselves seriously. There was a ton of seating, even during a busy Sunday. The staff were super helpful with explaining their beers and setting themselves apart from other breweries. The place was clean for how many people were there. The place exudes a friendliness that spreads through the crowd. My party ended up gaining a random guy from some other country. We went to another place to eat afterwards with the guy! This place just has that type of unquantifiable energy. Will return, will recommend, will see y’all sooner than later!“
“I got to enjoy Fort Brewery for the first time a few weeks ago when friends and I came for an ACOTAR trivia night. We had so much fun and the food was delicious (especially the pesto goat cheese pizza). We met friends a week later for Sunday brunch and the brunch menu was excellent. I love that they are allergy friendly and I love that you can build your own wine and beer flights. I definitely plan on coming back and trying more of the menu.“
“This place is delightfully different, there are just too many nationwide chains these days so it's great to find something that isn't the same as it is in 1000's of towns across the country.Kid-friendliness: Both my little ones had no issues eating here.“
