“I have followed this place from Denver (my daughter lives in Salt Lake). Finally got to go today. They have samples!!! I was so impressed how friendly and knowledgeable the employee was. She described tastes and made suggestions. It was so much fun trying and bringing home 6 cookies. The oatmeal with cherries and apricots was like an amazing breakfast bar. They were all delicious. The best cookies I've ever had!“
“Good food. Good people. Good vibes. There’s a reason I come every Friday. I’m gonna miss this place when I move out of state!Vegetarian options: Everything is made from scratch and is vegan. So good!Dietary restrictions: I can’t have dairy and this place is perfect for my Mac and cheese fix.“
“Overall Slackwater was delicious and so fun! Payton did a great job making sure everything we needed was provided in a timely manner. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient when I couldn’t make up my mind with all the beer selections they offer! Will come back.“
“I adore this place! Any time I have extra time before school I grab a drink from here. I have never in my life had better chai tea. I recommend this place to everyone haha. They have so many options, such a nice staff, and such a fun vibe. If you’re looking for coffee, this is the best place!“
“Good coffee, love the patio seating. Parking is a little tricky but there's lots of side street parking you just have to walk. Staff wasn't very friendly but I like the chocolate covered coffee beans they put on top of your drink. I think this place is really cute.“
“Scion Cider Bar in Salt Lake City is a delightful haven for cider enthusiasts, newbies, or anyone just wanting to try a new place. Let me paint a vivid picture of this gem:Atmosphere: The Scion Cider Bar exudes a relaxed and inviting vibe. As you step inside, the air hums with the promise of good times. Long communal tables and cozy bar tops beckon, creating an ideal setting for camaraderie.Eclectic Crowd: Here’s the magic: Scion manages to attract a diverse crowd. Whether you’re a sprightly young soul or a seasoned connoisseur (like myself), you’ll feel right at home. No age barriers, just good company.Games and Conversations: Picture this: multiple tables engaged in lively games. It’s like a symphony of laughter and friendly competition. And what pairs perfectly with games? Drinks! Scion gets it right with their enticing selection.Cider Wonderland: The bartender, with a warm smile, guides you through the cider wonderland. She’s like a compass, helping you navigate the sea of options. While I reveled in the cider flights, my hubby found his IPA match. Variety is the spice of life, after all.Food Temptations: Now, I missed out on the food (dinner timing, you know), but the anticipation lingers. The cheese board awaits my return, promising a symphony of flavors.Scion Cider Bar—where conversations flow, games ignite, and cider reigns supreme. Cheers to good times! ? I will definitely be back!“
“my partner and i are regulars at buds- we eat here usually a couple times a week for lunch. the food and service are always excellent! my regular order changes from time to time and everything i’ve ever ordered has been great! i love that they periodically switch up the menu and have always kept the prices fair. ☺️Vegetarian options: everything is vegan“
“Some of my favorite coffee I've had in Salt Lake - super nice and down to earth folks there, definitely a new go-to for me.Update: Finca Milan is unreal - easily competes with the specialty coffee I've had in Minneapolis and California.“
“Very cute little place with very yummy pie options!! We went here on Pi Day and it was decorated with balloons and banners to celebrate 3.14. We opted to have ours warmed and they were amazing. I will forewarn that the traditional size pie is pretty small - after finishing them you're left saying "that's all??" They're definitely worth a stop by, but I'd encourage getting one of the large sized options so you don't leave with the munchies :)“
“The staff is extremely attentive, the food is over the top. The portion sizes are perfect. This truly is a dining experience. Not to mention the wine is incredible. We shared a bottle of the Ripasso and it was phenomenal. If I had to complain about anything, parking is limited and the building is underwhelming considering the quality of the rest of the experience. Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the valley. And they follow the European tradition of no tipping allowed. If you haven't had the opportunity to give this place a shot it should definitely be on your list.“
“Pretty good overall. Beer selection is great, staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Nice to go selections, and plenty of seating. Rotating food trucks to offer variety.Patio seating is a plus, other than when entitled customers smoke/vape and it blows in your direction (even though they have no smoking signs). It should be enforced more. Pet friendly for better or worse (usually better), but again that depends on the animal's owner.Would love to do a 4.5 but alas. Overall a mostly enjoyable experience“
“I rank hard because I have been blessed to see much in terms of food... By local standards it is on the top. The food is well presented, it has a flair across each dish, and it tasty! I do not live on SL, I am on my second day of a weekend here; it seems to be one more of those places you need to look for, but you won't regret finding it. Hands down!“
“The food is delicious! The food is clean and simple. Pick a protein (meat or vegetarian options) and two sides. They have mashed potatoes, sweet potato hash, bread sticks and hummus, cauliflower, and much more. The restaurant itself is a bit cramped, especially when they are busy, but you can get your meal to go.“
“loved cupla. it's in a nice part of the city and the food is great. didn't read on the menu that the 16oz comes with 4 shots so my latte was a little more bitter than i like but that's my fault. great experience! music was a little loud tho“
“Incredible service. The man working the cash register displayed incredible customer service and was diligent in making sure the food was safe for peanut butter, nuts, etc. The carne asada burrito was delicious and highly recommend if people are in Salt Lake to stop here.“
“Bubblicious ain't got nuttin on Vivi Bubble Tea. Pink accents and chewy tapioca balls pump fake my senses as swirls of brown sugar rappel down my throat, with vengeance! I implore, Vivi...give me more. Hook, line and sinker. My heart, and my cash is yours.“
“Finally we found a decent coffee shop in Salt Lake City!!! Few and far between. We walked & walked looking and finally came across this one. It's a super hip clean space with lots & lots of people inside. They also have a small seating area outside with awnings. The staff are super friendly and eager to please. Our coffee and breakfast sandwiches were top notch as was my pastry. I will be returning here.“
“This place never misses. We live in Louisiana and visit every time we are in town! The sandwiches are to die for.Almost had a heart attack when I first came back, and they had moved locations… Thank god they’re just around the corner.Do yourself a favor and get lunch at The Robins Nest.“
“This is one of my favourite coffee shops in the city. Not only is the customer service top-notch, but they make sure to take your order ASAP and have it ready by the time you get to the window and pay. Tasty coffee, loyalty stamp cards are AWESOME and the little chocolate covered espresso beans are a perfect treat. Muffins are fresh, too, and delicious (especially poppyseed). The drive-thru is a bit peculiar to get in & out of, but once you figure it out, you're smooth sailing. Also, it's right by the giant whale ? so you can't possibly miss it. The only downside is... they still haven't brought back the chocolate cherry cordials ? as for drinks, my recommendation is the Irish Jolt :)“
“If you like heavier beers (heavy, sweet, dessert-like), Epic has some of the best. Some of my favorite include the Brewer Master's Keep, Naked Baptist, Big Bad Baptist, Son of a Baptist. The sours are great as well, if you like something lighter and tart. I was not as much of a fan for the flavored beers, but to each their own. Staff is really friendly.“
“I love this place. The food is always good, had the meatloaf Thursday. Of course, the beer is really good and what made me go in the first time. What really keeps me coming back is the service. I make sure to ask for Esdee each time, she is the best and funny as they come.“
“Tasty tacos...tons of meat options but my favorite is the tripas ?❤️??Parking: In the Smith's parking lot...Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid food options...Wheelchair accessibility: It's a flat parking lot very little thru traffic...“
“I popped in here with my Husband for an early dinner. I was SOOO hungry! Good location with lots of fun shops and restaurants nearby. I forgot to get a picture. The food was fresh and yummy!!!! Good way to get your veggies in and eat something that’s healthier! So good!“
“A cute little coffee shop. It has a very eclectically rustic feel throughout the shop which feels very reminiscent of the east goes and gives it a lot of visual interest in this city. The coffee/lattes aren’t necessarily the best I’ve had in the city, but they aren’t bad by any means— still good coffee. The people at the shop are what make it though! The staff here is always really kind and patient with my incredibly frustrating indecision in choosing a drink. They never seem bothered by a request and are always willing to suggest things!Parking: The parking lot is difficult to find— make sure you’re not parked in the wrong place to avoid getting a ticket. There is space right behind the building (see photo) and space underground.“
“My sisters and I enjoyed our visit to this walk up eatery next to Pioneer Park. The sauces they offer on the burger and as fries dip are creative, extensive, and all that we tried were so tasty. The bacon they have is a must try! Thick and brawny! Serious bacon! The waffles are excellent too. But the fries are what you can't miss. They're real fresh potatoes double fried. Amazing fries!! Staff was also fun and playful. Fun place!“
“I have been to several local coffee shops across the country and this hidden gem is awesome. I got the carmel latte and could not have had a better drink. As a hot carmel latte is my usual go to for coffee, it made sense to try. I usually dont like sweeter coffee and sometime the carmel seems non-existent, but here the flavor and sweetness were just right!“
“Evo Hotel exceeded all my expectations! Customer service throughout the hotel, from front desk staff to cafe barista, skate park staff, retail store staff, yoga instructors, etc was phenomenal! (A shout out to Kennedy who patiently helped us through last min delays from our Amtrak train because of storms.) Everyone was genuinely friendly and eager to help/accommodate at every turn. We loved how clean and exceptionally well designed all the rooms were - with no carpet (which we loved!), lots of hooks and storage space, interesting artwork, and effective layouts. There are coolers you can borrow if you need to keep drinks cool, the cafe bar has great drinks and pastries, yogurts, and smoothies, and there is a filtered water dispenser on the first floor. As part of the stay, you have access to all the facilities and we enjoyed the evening yoga classes. There are lots of cute restaurants within a few blocks, and parking in the lot or out front was very easy. This is an industrial area, so there are some homeless people around, but we had no issues. With the fantastic customer service, clean & cook vibes, and all the fun amenities, this will definitely be our go to hotel in SLC!“
“I mean it’s vegan food… don’t get the margherita pizza, the cheese sticks to the roof of your mouth like grout and has the same consistency as slightly wet flour. Also they put cherry tomatoes on it? And covered the whole thing in cheese? Just odd choices for a vegan restaurant. The cauliflower wings are just roasted cauliflower… tasted great but why call them wings? The green curry is bomb as well. Also server was wonderful. Cool industrial interior as well. Pricey as hell though, almost no entrees are under $20. Cheapest I saw was $19, most were $21+. Desserts looked absolutely splendid, but we didn’t get them :(HALF OF THEIR MENU WAS CHEESE BASED ITEMS BY THE WAY! WHY?? Vegan food can be great but why are we trying so hard to make non-vegan foods vegan?Vegetarian options: They’re vegan for sure“
“I went to Red Lotus on 3/30 with a friend of mine and it was a little cloudy so we didn't know if the patio was open. We had two dogs with us so outdoor seating was a must. Luckily, they were and we enjoyed light rain on their patio. The food was amazing and I want to personally call out Genaro, our server. He was amazingly awesome!!! He deserves a raise, keep up the good work Red Lotus!!!!“
“I photographed a wedding and they had Tacos Don Rafa cater and I was so impressed, the food was so so so good, the service was great, the line of people went quickly and they were some of the best tacos that I had had in a long time from a business!“
“My wife and I discovered this cute little breakfast/lunch cafe on 1st Av in SLC a year ago and fell in love with it. The simplicity, the lovely music in the background, and a cheerful, kind host named Oliver Maizo made it a wonderful way to start our day today!“
“This place seriously has the best food in town and the best prices 14 bucks and I’m stuffed! Also try that green curry ? Kid-friendliness: Bumble bee transformers is in the front looks so cool and pretty open incase you have a runaway easy to grab lolWheelchair accessibility: They have single tables in the center great for a wheel chair to pull up to also decent hight if your worried about that.“
“(New customer)Eating here was like eating with family. They made sure we were 100% satisfied. The food was as fresh & healthy as it could be and delicious! The cook shredded the potatos right there for the best hashbrowns in town! We'll definitely be back! Even if it's to go?“
“went here for the first time last night. typically hate bars but really liked this one. wasn’t too loud but I guess it was also a Tuesday. The bartender was funny and the service was perf. He was also hot, if he’s reading this. Will be returning, and not just to give the bartender my phone number lmao.“
“The food was delicious and very well made, everyone got something different but everyone enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very welcoming and has a fun vibe. The person taking our order wasn't very friendly, maybe she was having an off day but she acted like we were bothering her which was irritating considering how much we liked everything else about this place. I still recommend it though“
“Super cute spot and the staff are super friendly. The girl taking my order was happy to give me suggestions and was welcoming. The smoothie $10 but delicious! Usually smoothies at other places are either too sweet, too artificial, or lack flavor. Brass smoothies is healthy and perfectly balanced.“
“Been coming to TF for years. Unmatched vibe, best atmosphere of any brewery in Utah, not to mention the best beer (with the awards to prove it). Beer store is always stocked with great selections. Draft and canned selection is killer. Can’t go wrong with any selection. Keller, Coconut Guava, Gose, Stout, Ferda, any of their small batch releases. All delish. Food truck selection is listed on their website and dependable. They offer small bites, like a charcuterie from Beltex Meats or a pretzel. Outdoor fire pits are great, also the barrel room seating. Oktoberfest is fun, as well as their curated pairing experiences.“
“Super friendly, bicycle themed, hipster bar, with great food (they smoke their own meats), and a plenty of craft beer options. Weekend brunch is available until 2pm.If you're not a meat eater, there is also an extensive vegetarian and vegan menu that includes faux meat versions of many entrees.Kid-friendliness: 21+ only, this is a licensed bar“
“My go to coffee place and it’s amazing if you get the long-term staff. Some of the newer staff don’t make as good of drinks and are very heavy on the ice (I’ve been asking for light ice in my drinks and my cup is still 2/3 full of ice). It’s become a lot more hit and miss lately so I hope they can train the new employees quickly!“
“I visited today and would like to send my thank you to the amazing person that was working. The name on the receipt is Vu P. He was incredibly friendly and helpful. Their drinks are always on spot and the great service is a cherry on top. Thank you Vu for the sweet treat and great experience!“
“I was so skeptical to try this place. Cuz I'm a beans person. But I love the cocomo so much. I can't get enough. I even have a Dutch Brothers pass. My husband thinks I have an addiction and I'm pretty sure I do. Yeah I'm a fan now. Just goes to show you can teach an old person new things.“
“One is the best places to sit down and grab a coffee and Crepe it’s our Sundays morning favorite they sometimes have guest musicians plays. It’s a local favorite.Come before 1pm!! If you’re new and come a minute later than 1pm you’re gonna get blown outta there because they stop serving most food no later than 1:00pm lol so don’t be upset.“
“I gotta give props when props are earned. Cool industrial vibe, looks like an old automotive shop but just the building not the decor.Great burger! I had the Proper style and it was really good. Soft tasty bun, fresh fixins, pickles were unique and complemented to entire meal. Fries were simple and good, just a good not over fancy fry and a good amount of them. The fry sauce was fantastic. I will be back“
“Cool spot with good food and an easy going vibe. Mostly college age crowd and pretty lively for 9:30pm on a Tuesday. If you go, get the Philly cheesesteak. They've been making them here for 10+ years and they're delicious. Also $3 shots for their well vodka, is a plus in my book.“
“Great spot. Like a mall food court but with much better decor and atmosphere. Went here with a large family group, 6 adults and 5 kids ages 4 to 13. With a nice variety of food choices, we were able to find something for everyone and the food was good. There were lots of nonalcoholic beverage options. I tried a red cream soda that was delicious. This was a great place to meet up and hang out. Good music, but not too loud for conversation. Great option for casual dining with kids.“
“Best chai ever. Period. Been coming here since they first opened their very first little stand in front of the old K-Mart that is now Smith's. Every single time I'm in town visiting the family this is one of my first stops. There's not another place out there that I've found that does fresh house made chai like they do. The goodies are delicious too!“
