“Been wanting to try this place for a while, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was seriously SO tasty - chai, snapper, chicken, greens, plantains, even down to the rice and beans - the flavors were incredible. Every bite we took we said "wow, THAT is good." It's truly a fusion restaurant, and they did it perfectly. We knew this place had great reviews, and if I could give 10/5 stars, I would. Would have really loved to try dessert, but we'll save that for next time because we will definitely be back.“

“You have to try their stuffed French Toast. I am still dreaming about the lemon cream cheese filling. It only had a hint of lemon, but a whole lotta good everything else. The blueberry compote was delicious. It was super busy and I can see why. I can't wait to take my son who lived in Paris back to see what he thinks.“

“Wonderful ambiance.We ate brunch on the patio on a terrific spring day after catching some of the SLC Marathon.We had the Oasis omelet, grilled cheese and soup, grilled tuna sandwich (photo uncle), steak sandwich ( photo included), and chicken sandwich with avocado.The service was exceptional throughout.I highly recommend this establishment.“

“This is the perfect "hole in the wall" gem of salt lake city. The food is awesome, and the tea is fantastic. We tried the Chai and the Lemon tea, the Chai was perfect ?This place is locally owned and has authentic decor and cuisine.They have a ton of vegetarian options as well.Check this place out!Parking: There is a about 3 designated parking spaces East of Straw Market (Shambalas neighbor). Those are usually full, but the street parking is free and it's easy to find a spot.“

“Best pancakes I’ve ever had. Order the cinnamon and granola pancakes! Also the best gravy on the biscuits we’ve had. The wait was only 15 min to be seated and all the food came hot. The pancakes are huge by the way. You may be good with just ordering one.“

“Went with a group of women for lunch and it was wonderful! I had the French dip sandwich, which was delicious. Our server was also very attentive. Separate checks for our group of 7 was so easy with the handheld device our server was able to use. I’ll be coming back!“

“My family (spouse and 3.5yo twins) and I have been coming here for brunch at LEAST once a month for well over a year. I say “at least” because if/when we ever have friends & family visit - Plated Dreams is definitely a stop on the itinerary.Angie (owner) is beyond kind and thoughtful. No matter how busy they are (and they are OFTEN busy), she takes the time to catch up on how we’re doing, and always asks what she can do to ensure our experience is top notch. Chris (owner) also always takes time to catch us up on how business is going, what improvements they have made based on customer feedback…and most of all, ALWAYS spoils our twins. These are 2 business owners who BLEED everything they have into ensuring the experience is a positive and amazing memory for everyone that comes in.We have had every server over the months, and not a single one disappoints. There is a clear culture of customer experience in this place. Atmosphere is GORGEOUS, which is why it’s a hotspot for IG pictures, and the food is DELICIOUS (props to the Hash). And special shoutout to our favorite server, Arabelle. “I went here while in town for work, the employees were extremely friendly and the food was absolutely great, the chicken was cooked perfectly where the breading was crunchy and the chicken was juicy. My friend got the turkey pesto and they use real pine nuts in their pesto!Parking: Limited number of spots, there are about 10 spots for the whole retail area.“

“We love Penny Ann's in SLC but this location is closer to home and the atmosphere is great. Our server was Carla and she worked hard to make sure we were taken care of. She even chased us down to give me our leftover container. That's quality service., something you don't see much these days. We will for sure be back.“

“A amazing spot for working parents! My sons (1 & 3) spent four hours of nonstop playing which means I had four hours of non-interrupted work time. There are so many toys they didn't even squabble over who had what. Not to mention they have yummy food and drinks they will deliver straight to you. The coffee was top notch, toys were clean and well kept. What a brilliant idea. Seriously cannot recommend this place enough.“

“Great food with plenty of options. I particularly love the fish tacos. I have mine with grilled fish. The sauce is a bit spicy and so flavorful. I also like to salads, burritos and chips and salsa. Service is always quick and the place has good energy. My go to for Mexican when near the campus up at the U of U.“

“This all-vegan bakery is a lovely little café in the Maven District and is a welcoming place to come enjoy a coffee and pastry. In addition to vegan options, they also have some gluten free treats for those that prefer or need that. I love seeing so many great options! Service was terrific-we were warmly greeted and given some guidance after the person behind the counter learned we were first timers. After a few recommendations, we ended up with a coffee, lemonade, croissant, crepe and chocolate chip cookie. Yes, it was a sweet visit.“

“Evo Hotel exceeded all my expectations! Customer service throughout the hotel, from front desk staff to cafe barista, skate park staff, retail store staff, yoga instructors, etc was phenomenal! (A shout out to Kennedy who patiently helped us through last min delays from our Amtrak train because of storms.) Everyone was genuinely friendly and eager to help/accommodate at every turn. We loved how clean and exceptionally well designed all the rooms were - with no carpet (which we loved!), lots of hooks and storage space, interesting artwork, and effective layouts. There are coolers you can borrow if you need to keep drinks cool, the cafe bar has great drinks and pastries, yogurts, and smoothies, and there is a filtered water dispenser on the first floor. As part of the stay, you have access to all the facilities and we enjoyed the evening yoga classes. There are lots of cute restaurants within a few blocks, and parking in the lot or out front was very easy. This is an industrial area, so there are some homeless people around, but we had no issues. With the fantastic customer service, clean & cook vibes, and all the fun amenities, this will definitely be our go to hotel in SLC!“

“This place has THE BEST Carmel macchiatos (hot and iced), their other drinks are also phenomenal. I do know they have food but I have yet to try them.. The staff ( at every location) is always so kind and hard working. I normally go to the one at the Science Crocker building after my 4:20 class (10 minutes before they close) and the girl who works there is always so kind to me and makes my coffee perfectly, even though its right before closing. I could not recommend this small business enough, and I am so glad it has multiple locations on campus. It is also way more affordable compared to Starbucks, Definitely would recommend and I would go to this place over any other.. :)“
