“*04/20 edit: back to 2020 disorganization! There were 20+ take out bags sitting with no one at the counter. Things improved for a while, but cracks may be showing. -2 stars in service. *I have been a loyal customer for years. The recent changes are definitely for the better. Harpal still runs a tight ship and the quality of the food has maybe even improved since the split. The dine in has more servers and is a far better experience. The take out is also way faster and more organized. Coupling all of that with the same stellar food (plus some changes!), I think the new Mumbai House is even better than the old Bombay House.“

“I love this place! The staff is so helpful and nice! The food does not need MSG to get me coming back! ?Parking: I parked my ford raptor right on the sidewalk and instead of getting a ticket they hired a crew to come and wash off every speck of dirt they could find. Premium service!“

“I have never actually posted a review for anything other than books but I wanted to for this restaurant, because this was the best Indian food I’ve had. And the customer service was SO SO good. They did a great job with covid precautions and our server was so kind and funny. This place was an absolute delight.“

“We went there tonight and discovered why they've earned themselves 5 stars! I had the Chicken Coconut Kurma - a unique dish I've never had in Indian restaurants before, and my boyfriend had the Lamb Saag. The food was delicious, the servers were attentive, the prices reasonable, and the decor is beautiful and quiet! We have a few favorites that we always visit on our ski trips to SLC and this is added to the list!“

“If you love Indian food this is the place to go. The lunch buffet is awesome, just opened back up! The restaurant is clean and modern. They also have a secret spicy menu. If you ask for spicy they normally only give you "American Hot". If you are serious about your heat, ask for "Indian Hot." Also, the owner frequently works right in the kitchen to ensure everything is spot on, and he makes great conversation. What are you waiting for?“

“As a seasoned traveler who has sampled countless Indian restaurants across the USA, I am thrilled to say that Bhansa Ghar truly stands out from the crowd. After savoring their delectable dishes, I have no hesitation in awarding a 5-star rating. The attention to spice leaves is impeccable, and the service is exceptional. I look forward to returning soon when I'm in town again. Bhansa Ghar has set a new benchmark for Indian cuisine in my books.“

“The only thing that’s difficult about this place is their name, always forget how to spell it when searching Google to call in a take out order. Just Google search South Jordan Indian Restaurants and it’s one of the top hits on the search. Freaky fast orders, best Indian food in SL County. Owners are great too, never screw up orders and we’ve eaten here 20+ times.“

“This is seriously the best Indian food in West Valley! Do yourself a favor and hit this place up. Even the palak paneer is the best I've ever had. The mango lassi is on point too! And they have some fun, unique things like the buffalo momos that don't disappoint!“

“If you like Indian food, you need to go ASAP. Himalayan food is very similar to Indian food. This place has excellent food. I love how they are not stingy with the portions. The owner couldn’t have been nicer.I have been here 5 times now. I love the Chicken tikka masala and coconut kurma. Last time I tried the Chicken momos. They are like chicken dumplings. The sauce was incredible.“

“I was in Salt Lake for a quick trip and a friend of mine recommended this place. We showed up around 5pm on a Wednesday and were seated right away, the lady who served our table was beyond helpful, kind, and polite. She had great suggestions and was very attentive. We ordered the Indian salad, garlic Naan, chicken curry, and Muglai (lamb) Biryani. All of the food was phenomenal and the experience was great, I would be here all the time if I lived in the area because it was so delicious and very friendly service.“

“Food is ALWAYS GREAT here, when they actually get it right…. The people working here didnt speak a lick of English, our entire order was super wrong, we had to send it back (which I’ve done one other time in my entire life) and they got it super wrong again, not a I didn’t want onions and the put onions in the food wrong, like, a, I ordered chicken tikka and they brought out a vegetarian pizza, wrong) THIS HAPPENED 3 TIMES…. Finally just ate the food they gave us to get out of there since we’d been there for almost 3 hours…“

“I don’t usually leave reviews on google, but I wanted to make sure MunchKart gets the credit it deserves. I wasn’t expecting much with the cheap prices, but I was pleasantly surprised. I got the chicken korma curry and it was the best curry I’ve ever had for $10. Rice is even included in the price. You won’t find a better value anywhere else!“

“We really enjoy eating at Royal India. Their food is very delicious. For an appetizer, they have a vegetable Samosa which is incredibly delicious. It’s a fried pastry stuff with potatoes and peas and it’s so good. I like their chicken tikka and chicken masala. They can do different spice ranges to customize it for your tastes.“

“The Proprietors are fantastic. Just the right level of attention, without joining You for dinner. The meal was Very Good! The only thing I would do differently on My next visit, would be to sit away from where the Air circulates down off the windows. That would allow Me to eat slowly, while enjoying My dish of choice.“

“This is the best Indian food in Utah. The restaurant is clean and the food is high quality with a cozy calm vibe inside. Obi, the owner, is so kind and welcoming. We have been coming here for years since we used to live in the area. It is always a favorite to come back to whenever we are in the Salt Lake area and worth the travel. If you like supporting local business owners, this is a great place.“

“This place is THE legit place for Indian "tiffins" in the Salt Lake Valley. It's all vegetarian. I lived in Tamil Nadu India for over a year, and every time I go to this place it just takes me right back.Don't expect table service, and you'll have to put your own dishes on the wash rack when you're done. They also don't do "spice level": the food is made legit the way it would normally be at a restaurant in India - spicy, but not overboard.I always leave this place feeling great.Vegetarian options: Strictly, deliciously vegetarian, just like any legit tiffins point in India.Parking: Enormous strip mall parking lot. Never have had trouble finding a spot“

“Very close to real north indian taste. Unlike most indian food restaurants, this one is least localized ( except that it is less spicy).Their buffet has pretty good choices. I loved meat biryani, spinach chicken, chaat, pani poori, gulab jamun, fried rice, manchurian etc. In ala-carte, their masala dosa was very good.Highly recommended if you are looking for real north india taste. We changed our trip plan to enjoy this restaurant food 3 times.Their pani poori and chaat needs special mention, pretty good.“

“Wow, what an awesome restaurant! We've come to Great India three times now and every meal has been excellent. We brought our friend from India here and he said the curries were legit. One of the things we love about this place is that the curries are all delicious but also don't all taste the same. We've had the Mattar paneer, bhindi (okra), vindaloo, Rogan Josh (lamb) and vegetable masala. We loved all of them and it's hard to pick a favorite. The spice levels here are no joke, another thing we love. There's mild, medium and spicy, then after spicy you can get 1x up to 10x spicy. On the Indian scale the spiciest we tried was 6 and it was very, very spicy but still flavorful. We finished it but were sweating! Even the 2 packed a punch and I think 3 was perfect. Their service is quick, attentive and friendly. The mango Lassi is also delicious- tangy and flavorful. I can't wait to be back for another delicious meal!“

“Don't hesitate on ordering their mango lassi, it's soooo good. My first time having buryani and I didn't like the flavor.. so I probably won't have them again. If you like spicy get medium, their hot is super hot. Garlic naan is average.Be prepared to have a looooong wait if you order to eat (25mins?). Buffet style is a lot faster.“

“This time we tried the lunch buffet, which was great! In the past we've gone at dinner time and ordered the dinner for two option, which is fantastic. Going during the buffet hours was good though, because we got to try a little of everything, and determined we were already ordering our favorite dishes.“

“This was a great experience! We went for my wife’s birthday, she has been asking to go get Indian food for a while. This place was close so we gave it a try, so glad we did. “My family and I are very glad we decided to try this restaurant! Our waitress was incredibly helpful and friendly. My parents aren't very familiar with Indian cuisine, so she patiently and kindly walked them through all the questions they had to help them identify the right dish for them. Once the food came, we were not disappointed. We ordered everything with a medium-heat level spice and it was delicious! It's definitely my new favorite Indian restaurant in the south valley area. Make sure to order the chai and samosas when you're there!“
“Now with three locations including a frequently-packed space in Salt Lake City Hasen Cone’s Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeaid is nothing short of a Utah landmark, the fact that everything on the menu is made from scratch less surprising than just how good the Biscuits actually are. Begun as a Limeade stand inside the Downtown Farmer’s Market, but now the sort of spot with an hour-plus Yelp! waitlist, guests visiting Sweet Lake will be greeted by friendly staff in a sparse room where the Limeaid Bar and partially-open Kitchen are in full focus. Rumored to serve the city’s best Fried Chicken, both that and the Limeaid saved for a later date, Sunday’s order included one “Biscuit Bar” topped with peppery Tooele Valley Sausage Gravy plus Sweet Lake’s “Strawberry Tall Cake” that sees plump and buttery Biscuits Sugar-shellacked amidst Fresh Cream and locally-grown Berries. Locally sourced whenever possible, a tall glass of Coldbrew Coffee earthy with mellow notes of Cocoa, it was while waiting that Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade’s story became all the more compelling thanks to a mission statement that pays employees real living wages while also giving back to the community through green policies.“

“My wife and I are now devastated that we have lived here for 5 years, and it took us that long to find this Napali gem! Nan was beautiful, chix Tikka Masala was heavenly (ordered medium spicy with some hot flavor on the side). My wife loved every last morsel of hers.We truly are overjoyed that finally we have found a real gem / standout restaurant that surpasses any other in it's ethnicity/culture.“

“Everything in the buffet was quite good, and they had a decent selection. Covered the bases for me, though I would've preferred a different dahl. Just my personal preference.I particularly loved the tandoori chicken. It was so tender and moist. Not dried out at all, like is so often the case with buffets. And their goat curry was also phenomenal. Highly recommend this one for the buffet.“
“It's like Chipotle but with delicious Indian food. No wait, excellent service, made to order naan. Recommend the chickpeas and coconut korma on the seasoned rice! Dining room ambiance leaves a little to be desired so while I wouldn't take a first date, the food deserves 5 stars.“

“The restaurant was clean. The food was good but not great. My dining companion and I both asked for the food 5 out of 7 spicy hot but it seemed more like we got 2 or 3 level spiciness. It was not inexpensive so I doubt I'll be back but it was ok.The wait for the check at the end was unnecessarily long.“

“This place used to be Sri Balaji Caffe. Name changed, but the food doesn't seem to have. Hands down the best place for Indian Tiffins in Utah. It's counter service, and you bus your own table, but every time I eat here it takes me right back to the days when I was living in Chennai. Food is legit, curries are simply made right (no "how spicy do you want?"). Freaking delicious, and very well priced for how much food you get.“

“Stopped in late, after 9pm and still received excellent service and fresh delicious food! We ordered butter chicken and vegetable Marsala and they were both so good! Loved the garlic naan as well, definitely recommend. I love the green concrete floors as well, will definitely come back!“
