My wife and I visited Neutral Ground for the first time Saturday night. We both had a great time and were super impressed. The menu is somewhat unique. We appreciated the chance to try something new. It's southern/cajon fare. Everything we tried was spot on: fried green tomatoes, red beans and rice, catfish, cajon pasta with shrimp, sausage, & chicken, and, of course, the beignets. What was Amazing? 1. The Cajun Pasta. Just get it. 2. The Alligator nachos were out, so they did give us chicken, and they were well worth it! 3. The cocktails were VERY tasty 4. The band was fun! What Needed a little Work? The service was a little ... iffy. Nice folks with good intentions, just needed some more experience and training. Maybe some role-play scenarios? If it has been very busy, we would've had a terrible experience. Good it was moderately busy.

I'd heard rave reviews of the alligator tacos and as the only place in possibly the whole State who serves gator, I knew I had to come to Neutral Ground.
