“Not too bad, although the reception could have been better. As I was passing through the area I stopped for lunch at this Denny's. I placed my order online and then showed up at the restaurant about 10 minutes later. I stood at the register for at least 10 minutes, watching some people get seated and two other people paid their check, but no one even acknowledged my presence. I watched as several staff members walked past me without looking in my direction. Finally, when a lady did it again, I said "Excuse me! I'm here waiting for an order I placed online." I was told they were still working on it, even before she knew my name or checked anywhere for my order. My order came about 5 minutes later, and it was accurate and cooked nicely.Parking: The restaurant is inside the Flying J Travel Center. The travel center has lots of parking even for the largest vehicles.“

“Needed a break from interstate travel, and Winchester provided sweet respite. Appreciated the walking downtown mall, with a variety of shops, restaurants, and watering holes. This menu offered good variety, and as we could eat outside on a beautiful early evening in spring, we chose the patio. Server was great, and her recommendations were sold. Good local beer list, and the best braised Brussels sprouts I've had in a long time. Crabcake was solid: sweet crab, no filler. Easy to make a meal from wide variety of generous and interesting sides. Prices kind too.“

“I got a Gorgonzola salad from here, and it was fantastic. There were generous amounts of ingredients- the lettuce, cranberries, bacon, lettuce, etc.- and they were well blended. The salad itself was huge. They do not skimp you on the portions. The management and staff that I spoke with were friendly, welcoming, and personable. This place is definitely a spot to order out lunch from.“

“We've been going here for a few months for Thursday trivia and its a fun time. Great entertainment, extensive beer menu and even more expansive food menu with as the name suggests 50 burgers. I've tried a few different interesting burgers and all are good. Just a good time all around.“

“This locally-owned restaurant is a hidden gem that I hadn't been to before. The food was quite good, and the prices were wonderfully affordable. The only drawback was that they close at 7 pm, which makes it a dash to get there after work on a weeknight.It's very worth the run to Inwood. We will eat here again for sure.“

“I went to Waffle House after waiting for a half hour at the Cracker Barrel, I ordered the old timers breakfast with Biscuits and Gravy, after a significant wait the waitress brought the eggs and said it would be a little bit longer for the Biscuits and Gravy, the eggs were long past cold when she came out again telling me me they were out of biscuits and offered toast so without eating anything I paid my bill I walked out. Now back to the waffle House. I was served my desired B&G breakfast, it was cooked exactly as I had asked and it was within five minutes. So why only 4 Stars? The W.H. is a very loud environment, their wait staff think nothing of yelling back and forth. The food is delicious and great value. But it would be nice with a modicum of decorum.“

“I read reviews before going to a restaurant and I have to say that I can’t relate to any of the negative reviews. Ordered a beef bowl, chicken tacos and a pulled pork sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The side of potato salad was my absolute favorite, asked for the recipe and all - it was that good. Staff was so friendly, and so happy to have seen my fiancé and I enjoy our meal. Highly recommend and wish them so much success.“

““Steak dinner” - ~9 Oz ribeye, beans and rice, fries. Great home style meal. Everything’s made to order, so it did take a little while for the food to come out. (Guessing 20-25 minutes; we weren’t in a rush, so I wasn’t tightly tracking.)Food came out perfect. It was warm without being broiling. The steak was medium-well, evenly cooked, and not the least bit dry, to my pleasant surprise. It kicked the keester of anything I ever got at Outback. Beans, rice, and fries all precisely what one would expect in a home-style meal. All of it was exactly right — neither overdone nor underdone. My wife also tried their collard greens, which were also spot-on. Not pictured because they didn’t last long. ? 10/10 for execution.All in with a soda was $23.50 before tip. CASH ONLY (for now?); they weren’t taking cards when we were there. The on-site ATM has a $3 fee. They had a new cash register in a box on the bar, so perhaps this is changing.The proprietor is a nice lady and chatted with us a bit, seated out front on the patio enjoying the weather. The restaurant itself is a small, low-key converted store of a restaurant, with a limited menu of home-style soul food. Nothing more, nothing less. If that sounds good to you, I’d say give it a shot. After this, we intend to go back to try the chicken dinner.And, don’t mind the road work — we had no issues getting there and street parking from the Old Town side of Kent St. They seem to be set up for online ordering as well, presumably for pick-up, but we didn’t try that this time.Parking: Mostly street parking. Watch out for house driveways.Kid-friendliness: There was a family there with four or five kids dominating the bar. The staff was handling them expertly.“

“Nice brunch / lunch spot. Santa fe egg rolls were crisp and tasty. I also recommend the animal style fries covered with cheese, caramelized onions and a nice tangy thousand island sauce. “We had a rehearsal dinner at the Village Square 4/12/2024. We had 48 guests and they accommodated us perfectly. I worked with Courtney to customize/limit the menu. She was so helpful the food was fantastic! They had plenty of staff that accommodated everyone, they were flexible and allowed me to bring in my dessert to stay within budget, set it up, displayed it and cleaned. All of our guests were so impressed with the quality of food and the staff. We had the shrimp and grits, filet, and chicken. They also added pasta primavera for the vegetarians. They were all delicious, but they knocked the filet out of the park definitely work the extra money. I will go back again and recommend for any type of celebration.Parking: Parking garage directly behind the restaurant along with street parking.“

“Rock Harbor grill is one of the best kept secrets in Winchester. Most people think it is just a place where golfers get a quick bite before or after a round of golf, but I encourage everyone to come by and enjoy a great tasting and hearty breakfast. Their breakfast rivals Papermill Place which is known for great breakfasts. I actually enjoy treating friends to breakfast at Rock Harbor so I can see the surprise in their eyes.On top of breakfast, they have thick and juicy burgers. My personal favorite is the Bolder Mac which is a combination of Big Mac style sauce on a big burger. On Thursdays, they usually have a wing special. And just like the burgers, there is no skimping on the meat.And finally the service team has worked there for years and have a fun and friendly attitude.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of handicap parking and everything on same level for easy wheelchair access.“

“What a wonderful place. They manage to create a fine dining food experience that also feels family friendly. The food was delicious. Steak and salmon cooked perfectly and please leave room for dessert, it was fantastic! They make everything from scratch so the wait for your food might be a little longer but it is so worth it. Our waitress was great! She checked in frequently to see if we needed anything. This was all on Mother's Day. I can't wait to go back on a regular day and try their standard menu.“
