“Not too bad, although the reception could have been better. As I was passing through the area I stopped for lunch at this Denny's. I placed my order online and then showed up at the restaurant about 10 minutes later. I stood at the register for at least 10 minutes, watching some people get seated and two other people paid their check, but no one even acknowledged my presence. I watched as several staff members walked past me without looking in my direction. Finally, when a lady did it again, I said "Excuse me! I'm here waiting for an order I placed online." I was told they were still working on it, even before she knew my name or checked anywhere for my order. My order came about 5 minutes later, and it was accurate and cooked nicely.Parking: The restaurant is inside the Flying J Travel Center. The travel center has lots of parking even for the largest vehicles.“

“Put aside your first impressions re. Curry Cuisine being part of the gas station. The service could not be quicker, nor friendlier than all the people at Curry Cuisine.But the real kudos go to the food. The Mixed Kebabs was the best I've ever had - here or in India. The lamb and chicken were so tender, and the sauce had just a hint of hot, but mostly delicious. And order a Mango Lassi for like none other than you've ever had, without the cloying sweetness of the many others I have tried elsewhere. We also enjoyed the Palak Chatt - a bit different than elsewhere, but a wonderful combination of fried spinach, tomato, potato, onion, and garbanzos with a wonderful semi-sweet sauce.Overall, I highly recommend, and we will be back, even though it's a bit of a trek from Falls Church.oh, and the wonderfully sweet little lagniappe of rice pudding at the end was small, but just right ending.“

“We ordered online as we drove in from Charleston. It was very easy. When we arrived, we walked our dog on the little lawn next to the patio. The servers came right out and gave love to our Tavish and offered us outside seating. ??. The pizza was delicious. My husband got pepperoni and mushroom and I got chicken and white sauce. We also had a salad and the battered veggies. All of it was delicious and the wait staff are amazing. We will definitely be back each time we come to Winchester ?“

“Incredible experience this evening at Taqueria Guadalajara! We had a large party of 11 people at 730pm on a Saturday night. Our server was pleasant, patient, and so kind. She continually made sure that our chips and salsa was always full and the chips were piping hot on EVERY delivery!Our entire part of 11 was overwhelmingly impressed with the quality and portion size of the meals. Our crafted margaritas were incredible!! We tried the mojitos, passion fruit margaritas, and the jalapeño margarita we couldn’t possibly pick a favorite!One of our group had the burrito with beef tongue and while it wasn’t my cup of tea, it was gobbled up in RECORD time by the young man who ordered it!We enjoyed queso, carne asada, tamales, multiple types of burrito, verde sauce, and even a kids meal of chicken fingers and curly fries! Even the kids meal was better than the usual fare! This was delicious REAL food.I only captured a few pictures as the food was eaten so fast, but know that it was ALL delicious!We were pleased to meet one of the owners throughout the course of our meal and just before we left. He was incredibly pleasant, didn’t seem to ever be in a hurry, seemed to genuinely enjoy the establishment, and spoke pleasantly about items that he too enjoys on the menu. Speaking to him was reminiscent of conversations with an old friend. Genuinely loved every minute of the experience this evening, so thankful to have this incredible hidden gem less than 20 minutes from home!Parking: At the busiest time on a Saturday night, parking is difficult. There is a well lit parking lot with plenty of spaces, however the parking is less than what the establishment likely needs for the busy nights.We were still able to park without issue!Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu and very friendly waitstaff who were accommodating and pleasant to our whole family.Wheelchair accessibility: Located on the main floor with outdoor seating options as well. Plenty of open room and accessibility for mobility.“

“We have enjoyed Benny’s at many different locations but this one was great. I called ahead one day to have a large pizza picked up right before the NFL playoff first round. I figured I would still be waiting on such a high demand day. However, I walked in 10 min early and my pizza was hot and ready to go home for the game. The pizza was delicious…especially the crust. I will always use Benny’s as my pizza source where available.“

The most pleasant people who are attentive but let you eat. Bring your appetite and if you find yourself sucking on chicken bones it's okay, judgement free establishment. I'm coming back. “The food was amazing. Originally came for the mango rice, but entre was just as amazing. Portion size was perfect for me and my wife. Staff was nice and friendly. And the mango sticky rice!!!! Amazing. And the presentation was cute as well.“

“Needed a break from interstate travel, and Winchester provided sweet respite. Appreciated the walking downtown mall, with a variety of shops, restaurants, and watering holes. This menu offered good variety, and as we could eat outside on a beautiful early evening in spring, we chose the patio. Server was great, and her recommendations were sold. Good local beer list, and the best braised Brussels sprouts I've had in a long time. Crabcake was solid: sweet crab, no filler. Easy to make a meal from wide variety of generous and interesting sides. Prices kind too.“

““Steak dinner” - ~9 Oz ribeye, beans and rice, fries. Great home style meal. Everything’s made to order, so it did take a little while for the food to come out. (Guessing 20-25 minutes; we weren’t in a rush, so I wasn’t tightly tracking.)Food came out perfect. It was warm without being broiling. The steak was medium-well, evenly cooked, and not the least bit dry, to my pleasant surprise. It kicked the keester of anything I ever got at Outback. Beans, rice, and fries all precisely what one would expect in a home-style meal. All of it was exactly right — neither overdone nor underdone. My wife also tried their collard greens, which were also spot-on. Not pictured because they didn’t last long. ? 10/10 for execution.All in with a soda was $23.50 before tip. CASH ONLY (for now?); they weren’t taking cards when we were there. The on-site ATM has a $3 fee. They had a new cash register in a box on the bar, so perhaps this is changing.The proprietor is a nice lady and chatted with us a bit, seated out front on the patio enjoying the weather. The restaurant itself is a small, low-key converted store of a restaurant, with a limited menu of home-style soul food. Nothing more, nothing less. If that sounds good to you, I’d say give it a shot. After this, we intend to go back to try the chicken dinner.And, don’t mind the road work — we had no issues getting there and street parking from the Old Town side of Kent St. They seem to be set up for online ordering as well, presumably for pick-up, but we didn’t try that this time.Parking: Mostly street parking. Watch out for house driveways.Kid-friendliness: There was a family there with four or five kids dominating the bar. The staff was handling them expertly.“

“I came here with my four children for the first time. We ordered a few things to share, because my kids were unsure what they’d like. Our waitress was very polite and brought our food out in serving dishes and extra plates and silverware without me asking. “I have liven in India and can truly tell you that this is authentic Indian cuisine. I find the taste much higher than any Indian restaurants in Northern Virginia or Washington, D.C. This is the best Indian food you will find anywhere within 75 miles. Try it and you will see that the food here is way above others in flavor.“

“I went to Waffle House after waiting for a half hour at the Cracker Barrel, I ordered the old timers breakfast with Biscuits and Gravy, after a significant wait the waitress brought the eggs and said it would be a little bit longer for the Biscuits and Gravy, the eggs were long past cold when she came out again telling me me they were out of biscuits and offered toast so without eating anything I paid my bill I walked out. Now back to the waffle House. I was served my desired B&G breakfast, it was cooked exactly as I had asked and it was within five minutes. So why only 4 Stars? The W.H. is a very loud environment, their wait staff think nothing of yelling back and forth. The food is delicious and great value. But it would be nice with a modicum of decorum.“

“We had an outstanding experience here. We brought together a small family group for a wine tasting. Kelly went out of her way to make sure that each of us had a great time tasting the various wines that JC offered. We arrived to a table set up for our party. Kelly brought out our charcuterie boards. Then she began serving with an explanation about the making of each wine as well as the taste characteristics that we could expect. I recommend this establishment if a wine tasting experience is on your to-do list. Kelly, thank you very much for your outstanding service. We will be back.“

“This is a fun and friendly restaurant and bar... it's like walking back in time once you enter, many tiki type venues back in the day I visited and this is the best one. Fantastic bar with great bartenders with heavy pours. They are true mixologists. Great glasses, tiki glasses and some drinks come in small pitchers. Many exotic house drinks as well. Best burgers, steaks, daily specials, fish, chicken, and as they say Grub. This is like eating at your best friend's home, mostly all locals who all know each other but very welcoming to visitors. I can't say it enough I really like the vibe here as well as the food. Shout out to Angie our bartender and server... one of the best! Highly recommend, definitely will be returning when I get back into town.“

“You wont find another diner like it. The grill is right in front of the counters so you get to watch as they make and prep your food. The employees have always been so kind. My grandma and I used to come here together but now when I'm in town I pick up our biscuits and sausage gravy to go. Best gravy in the VA, WV and even NYC (yes I've checked) area.“

“I took my family here 2 weeks ago for my husband's birthday, and then we came here again last week for our wedding anniversary. Delicious food all around. My first visit I had birria quesadillas while my husband had the birria tacos (admittedly they were the same exact thing minus the cilantro and onions for the quesadillas). I had the happy hour special margharitas both visits, which were great, though I'm told that their *fresh* margharitas are divine.For our second visit we both had burritos. My husband liked his chipotle burrito, but if you arent well acquainted with chipotle peppers in adobo, the accompanying taste can throw you off a little. I had the Jalisco(?) Burrito, which had quite a few different meats and was smothered in a nice, zesty cream sauce. I appreciated how each meat was properly cooked (even the shrimp, which can get a bit rubber-y in mixed dishes at times).Both times, we were seated immediately; the first time in particular was impressive because we were a party of 8!“

We were looking for a Chinese restaurant that could accommodate vegetarians, as well as meat eaters, and a Google search brought up Cheng's.Cheng's is a clean and inviting Chinese restaurant with a good-sized menu. It would be great for take out, and also has a few small tables for dining in.The restaurant itself has the appearance of Chinese fast food, but the food quality is better than regular fast food Chinese. It appears to be all made to order rather than pre-made dishes sitting in chafing dishes, like at Panda.The vegetables in our meals tasted and looked fresh and crisp, not frozen. The ingredients seemed to be of good quality. The food was not overly greasy either.There are several vegetarian options available, in addition to meat options. The Kung Pao Tofu was incredibly delicious, and the fried tofu in it was cooked to perfection!The lunch specials are reasonably priced, and the customer service was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning to try more from their menu!“
