“Surprised by the lower rating for this place. We’ve eaten here two or three times, it has always been good (sweet and sour chicken and vegetable lo mein for a vegetarian). The workers are always polite, ordering for takeout online is easy, always ready when we get there and warm. We are very happy with this place for our local Chinese take out.“

We ordered take out after eating there several days prior (second pic with flying dragon roll). I’d say the price is very reasonable for such delicious and fresh sushi. Service was excellent. Will be our go to place for both dine in and take out!“

“Shabu Shabu is a type of hot pot dish in which you dip meat slices and vegetables into boiling water, season them to your liking, and enjoy them. This type of food is perfect for a cold day. We had Shabu Shabu at this restaurant and found it to be delicious. We also enjoyed the appetizers we ordered. However, it's not an all-you-can-eat hot pot place and we felt that the portion sizes were a bit small for the price.“

“Came here with some friends and ordered the cheese katsu! The food looked like the photos but for me the food wasn't very filling. A few friends ordered the rosu katsu and mine was like half the amount as theirs. They all took home leftovers where I ate it all and wasn't full full. The service was not bad but we had to wait a little for our check. There is plenty of parking :)“

“This restaurant is the BEST Thai restaurant in all of Fairfax. And I have had tried almost every Thai restaurant in the area. Their pad Thai is perfection, and their sushi is so beautiful it almost pains me to eat it because it's so beautiful but it's DELICIOUS. They also have great customer service and had our order ready quick and efficiently.“

“I recently took my mom to a restaurant for ramen, and we both liked it. The broth had a good balance of flavors and wasn't too salty. We ordered some other dishes to try, and they were all good. The restaurant's interior was surprisingly lovely, which we couldn't see from outside. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch.“

“When I choose the JP or Korean restaurant, I would like to try side dishes. I order Yoko salad, Takoyaki, Mango Salmon roll, and Fish Katsu.What I can say is I will come back again and again. The Fish Katsu (Fried fish) is the best fried fish I have had in my life besides my Mum’s cooking lol, not oily, thin and crispy flour, fresh, and delicious. I have been thinking of Takoyaki from the restaurant in Thailand, however this one nailed it lol. The salad dressing is beyond. Mango Salmon roll is creative. “This place is definitely not what it looks like from the outside. You should try it, they have amazing, authentic ramen. And guess what? They don't even give you forks! ? I had the veggie ramen and my partner had the spicy veggie ramen. Both were super flavorful but not too much.“

“From the minute our party of two entered, the staff greeted us warmly and were very polite. To start, the chicken karaage was perfectly seasoned, crisp, and temperature hot - no sauce needed. For my meal, I ordered the nigiri only Omakase (Chef Inspired Platter) which came with a miso soup and salad. The taste brought me back to Japan. Our meal also came with dessert in which we chose the green tea ice cream which did not disappoint! Everyone working was attentive, informative, and wonderful. “For being in manassas, this poke was surprisingly delicious. My friend said she travels from Sterling for the poke so I knew I had to try I stopped in on my way home from an appointment and I didn't know they also had sushi rolls. However, I came her for the poke bowl, so that's what I got. The tuna was fresh, and while I wish there was more of it, they do give you Kani and seaweed salad with no extra charge. If you're not a fan of sauces, I would ask for it on the side as they do really sauce it up. From ordering to walking out the door it was probably 5min.“

“After dining at numerous sushi restaurants, I can confidently say that Murasaki remains my favorite. Their Salmon Lover platter is a true masterpiece, consistently my go-to choice. In my opinion, Murasaki's salmon achieves the perfect balance in texture, fattiness, and flavor. Additionally, their rice is infused with the perfect amount of vinegar . During my latest visit, I tried the Three Amigos roll, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and impressive it was. It even made me consider expanding my usual order beyond the Salmon Lover. The staff at Murasaki were incredibly friendly, warm smiles. They checked in with us regularly and made sure our drinks were promptly refilled. Overall, Murasaki offers not only exceptional sushi but also outstanding service.“

“This place is always packed, and there's a reason: It is amazing. Our go to is the bubba, yummy Yama and pan fried gyoza. It's right up there with the best sushi we've ever had. And they also have subtle touches, like they put the gyoza in styrofoam containers, and then they poke holes in the styrofoam to make sure the gyoza stays crispy and doesn't soften with its own steam. Also, they will hold open the doors for you if your hands are full with a carry out order. Such nice touches!“

“Food was top notch, and the place was very clean. Only thing is that the portions they give are rather small for a party of multiple people- we had four people in our party, (occasionally, it’s not enough for everyone to just take one), but we just ordered more with the all-you-can-eat system. You can order 3 items from each category at a time. Prime ribeye, brisket, squid, fish balls, shrimp balls are really good. Other items are delicious too. We love our shabu2, tom yum, and sichuan mala soup. Dipping sauce are also very good, especially the hot spot one.“

“Chirashi bowl here is my favorite. It's assembly is so pretty and it's very filling. The variety and quality of fish is really good! Service is fast and accommodating even when busy. My dad's allergic to egg, so they make sure to avoid adding imitation crab in his dish. Ambiance is casual and comfortable for any occasion dining. Seatings a bit cozy because it's a bit smaller size restaurant, but it doesn't feel too claustrophobic.“

“Didn't think I would have a go-to sushi spot in centreville once takohachi closed but this really takes the spot. The service here was very efficient and the servers were super kind and personable. Sushi was great and tasted very fresh. I love that they have the sushi bar so you can see them prepare your food. Overall, will definitely be coming back here in the future“

“Treated my cousin to Sweet Ginger for his birthday and we were both amazed by the quality and quantity of food we received for the price paid. We made it easy for our patient and attentive waiter by ordering two Thai iced tea and the Bento Box A with beef teriyaki. Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. Starting with the Thai iced tea; which was almost like a dessert. So smooth and sweet! It complimented the meal. The miso soup was comforting and had a balanced ratio of broth, tofu, greens, and green onion. The salad was fresh, crisp, and dressed with a rich and tasty peanut dressing. Of course, the highlight of our meal was the incredible bento boxes. The tempura shrimp and vegetables were my favorite. They were breaded to ideal crispiness and paired well with the soy dipping sauce. The vegetables were one big broccoli floret and large sliced carrot and zucchini medallions. The teriyaki steak was scrumptious, served on a bed of cabbage slaw with a generous amount of sauce. There was enough for me to dip other box components into, like the California rolls, tofu, and the Japanese dumpling. We dusted off everything. Not even the leftover salad dressing remained because we drank it all up! The whole experience was so much fun and we had a blast. Can't wait to go back. We left feeling satisfied and can add this to our list of happy memories!“

“Been here a handful of times. It's a decent go to for Japanese bento boxes and sushi at a decent price. Actually, the price is really good for the portion and food always seems to come out in a timely fashion. Quality is consistent and the taste is pretty good. Service is always friendly and the place always looks clean. They have so many sushi options to choose from and there's like 5 or so different bento boxes. There's a variety of items on the menu that caters to everyone's palette and dietary needs.“

The complimentary sides you get with the box are quite refreshing, especially the kimchi, which I ended up finishing in one bite. The meats here are quite succulent, and I love how the juices drip onto the rice to create this popping, umami flavor. Green tea here was a nice refresher to satisfy my hunger.“

“Tempura is excellent . I had the steak deluxe bento and daughter got the chicken. We share the shrimp and vegetable tempura which was excellent but the dipping sauce was very small .I think my daughter’s chicken was better than my steak which was a tad chewy. I didn’t get hot mustard with my spring roll which made its bit bland. Wasabi portion was so small that I could not even taste it. The food was typical for this price point, but the 45 minutes drive puts it too far out for a repeat visit.“

“it is a small Cafe that feels really cozy. the soufle pancakes take about 20 minutes, but it is worth the wait. they are light and fluffy and delicious. the beef curry onigiri is delicious, and well flavored. the mochi donuts are amazing. and the matcha latte is just delicious. this is definitely a place to try if you are interest in Japanese deserts.“

“We were first introduced to this restaurant living in Sacramento, so when we found out there was a restaurant here we had to try it out. The environment is nice, smaller than what we’re accustomed to but everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Some menu items weren’t listed but I’m sure they’d be able to make it if asked. One thing they do not offer is the 50% off sushi rolls menu. I decided to try their Bi Bim Bop and it was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered 2 rolls (Lion King and Golden Bridge) both delicious and our son ordered the Katsu Curry which he also enjoyed.
