Dumfries' best places for Mexican cuisine are in our list.
“We were stayong at a nearby hotel overnight and wanted someplace close by for dinner. El paso was big, clean, and the food was excellent. We had fajitas for dinner and we both really enjoyed them. I Would highly recommend El pasoVegetarian options: They offered a good selection of options“
“Omg, I absolutely love this place. The HAMBURGERS, chef's kiss. I recommend this restaurant to all my family that comes from out of state and we're never disappointed. The family that owns the restaurant are always super friendly. Always welcomes us with a big smiles.“
“I went here with my pops (Dad) we are from LA and are of Mexican descent. Food was good, my shrimp was slightly over cooked by a minute but no biggy, flavor was there. I'm being picky. There's no chips and salsa like other Mexican restaurants and the rice with my dish had peas and carrots, rice was a tan color which from my experience isn't Mexican rice. The pupusa masa came with my shrimp which was bomb. So with that said I think it's more of a Salvadoran restaurant. I haven't had much else but my first experience was good.“
“I happened to drive by this food truck and desired some Birria tacos. The service was excellent. The lady was extremely nice when asking what I wanted and told me the popular dishes were chicken, beef, and pork Birria tacos. The food was prepared quickly; however, it lacked flavor with the beef consommé, and the tacos were under-seasoned in the meat. A major plus was the extremely hot food; the green sauce was phenomenal and probably the best thing I’ve had. The spicy brown, maybe chipotle hot sauce, had a nice kick and flavor. It's not the best Birria tacos I’ve ever had, but it will do when you’re in a pinch.“
