We've got Lake Ridge's top Mexican restaurants covered for you.
“This is my ABSOLUTE FAV MEXICAN RESTAURANT in the area! stublend upon this place one night and has been my favorite place since! the service is excellent! the food and atmosphere is great too! my favorite dish is the "grill de Mexico" and I come here nearly every Friday! great place!5/5 stars!“
“Please give this guy named Adam a raise. He was super patient with our order and I saw him double check the bag to make sure our order was correct! He also has really excellent customer service! He had a warm and happy greeting when taking our order and just overall just makes me wanna come back more often!“
“Don Sebas located on Prince William Parkway, Dale City or Woodridge is a non-fancy, C level, independent restaurant. Meaning it is not an upscale chain or independent restaurant. The food was very good. Ordered 3 combo tacos. Beef, chicken and shrimp ? and the.food was very good ?. Also tried their guacamole, chips and salsa. Very very good.Service was great. Friendly, knowledgeable, great ? attitude. Easy parking. Priced a bot high.Recommended. ? return visit factor. Check out Don Sebas.“
“Fantastic street tacos ($4-$6 per) and delicious margaritas. Orders are taken on a kiosk, so… no human interaction and straight forward. The only interaction we had was through the bar tender, which wasn’t much. Didn’t seem like wanted to be there nor did he seem to care about customers waiting to order. Bottom line - awesome food, unfriendly drinks.“
“Loved the tacos, some better than other, service was good, only 4 stars for atmosphere because the ceiling was staring back at us but other than that I liked the seating and layout, also saw they have events some nights and definitely will be going back to try more food and the events. A great place next to GMU campus in university mall, and the best part is that they have Jarritos. Chips were solid too, salsa is spicy, if you are white or just have no spice tolerance at all beware.“
“I happened to drive by this food truck and desired some Birria tacos. The service was excellent. The lady was extremely nice when asking what I wanted and told me the popular dishes were chicken, beef, and pork Birria tacos. The food was prepared quickly; however, it lacked flavor with the beef consommé, and the tacos were under-seasoned in the meat. A major plus was the extremely hot food; the green sauce was phenomenal and probably the best thing I’ve had. The spicy brown, maybe chipotle hot sauce, had a nice kick and flavor. It's not the best Birria tacos I’ve ever had, but it will do when you’re in a pinch.“
“Oh my Lord! I had forgotten how good Mexican can be when done right. This was the best restaurant surprise that my husband and I have had in a looong time. They were closing and agreed to serve us anyway. Who does that any more? These guys. From the moment we walked in, we were transported to Mexico. The family that runs it treats you as though you are part of the family. And what was even greater was how delicious and fresh the food was. Tacos were just incredible - Al pastor, asada, pollo and chorizo. We can't wait to bring our little boys here. Thank you, Agave, for saving us from the Mexican food desert that used to be NOVA.“
“I have been to all the local El Pasos and I like them all.I just never cared for the free chips & salsa. They don't taste authentic & are flavorless. I also hear the steak is absolutely horrible. It's so bad, two people I took will never go there, again. But the margaritas are affordable, delicious, there's a wide variety & you can have them made with top-shelf ingredients. I also do prefer health foods & there is very little I can order, but just enough that I still make the trip, a few times a year. With the last thought said, I would be happier if they had a healthier portion of the menu. Maybe gf tacos or burritos, refried beans without animal lard, a good-tasting vegan cheese (Kite Hill or Tofutti) and/or gf tortilla chips. Maybe even more salads, too. If they did, I'd probably go more then a few times a year. Maybe a few times a month! No one wants to eat the same thing, all the time.Although the lighting is a little bright, I do like the atmosphere. It's colorful & authentic & has plenty of booth-seating.Upon this last visit service was slow and my order came out wrong, even with a translator, but they made up for it, just fine. Usually my order comes out 100% correct. However, I will not stop going, despite anything negative I may have said!Vegetarian options: You'd have to customize a ton & note that the refried beans contain animal lard.Dietary restrictions: Nothing GF available, except a salad or dishes where the tacos come on the side (so you can just not eat them), like the enchiladas.“
“Friendly service and delicious food. The flan was awesome! Great place to treat myself while getting my car worked on across the street. (Glad I’m still young enough to sprint for my life across horrible Fairfax roads with no easy way for pedestrians to cross.)“
“Little food truck right outside the gas station. Those burritos were fat, and the quesadillas were good. The sauces were spicy, good stuff overall. I walked up to order and it only took about 10-15 minutes to receive my food. Very good stuff for sure.“
“We got our food SO quick! We had chicken tacos mexicanos & chorizo taco mexicanos AND THEY WERE AMAZING!!!!! We were traveling about 2.5 hours from home & saw the ratings for this place. Honestly I’d drive back just for this place! NOTE: If chorizo tacos are your thing, GET THEM! The flavor is legit out of this world. Compliments to the chef, for real!!“
“We were stayong at a nearby hotel overnight and wanted someplace close by for dinner. El paso was big, clean, and the food was excellent. We had fajitas for dinner and we both really enjoyed them. I Would highly recommend El pasoVegetarian options: They offered a good selection of options“
“Seriously good Mexican with quality touches!!!! They do a great job here…Great service…excellent touches that normal Mexican restaurants don’t do…but the food is really really good. Try the Chimichanga with steak. Awesome!!!!!! Sorry I don’t have any pictures this time…. But I will DEFINITELY be back!!!!!!“
“This place is absolutely fantastic. I went with two others and we shared some food around the table. Absolutely everything was awesome. I will also say that the salsa for the chips is probably the most flavorful salsa of all of these restaurants I have tried. I would like to have a jar to take home with me.100% recommend“
“Great tacos. Got thier lengua and birria. They have some delicious leches cake and pastries for those who like dessert after. I'm definitely coming back here to try their breakfast. You won't find a more authentic Honduran meal in the area.“
“I thought this place was pretty solid. I ended up getting four of their tacos Spicy pork was excellent Chicken was just okay Shimp was just okay Bulgogi was okay I did take out. Ordered at the counter. One of the disadvantages is their English speaking skills isn't the best. The person working the counter really doesn't understand anything and was relying on other people to tell her what to do. Place was clean. I'm not sure I would dine in but it seems like a good and solid takeout spot. It's not as tasty as Taco Bamba but then again what is? Also I'm a little bit confused about some of the things on their menu some of the other reviewers mentioned that they had goat but I didn't see it on their menu at all which is disappointing because I would have loved to have tried a goat taco For the four tacos that I did get, this was about 16 bucks which is I think a bit high given the amount and quantity of food that was stuffed into each taco. Barking is free and in a parking lot. This is on the map identified as Annandale but I did see a big call more sign right outside the parking lot so I think that we're in a area that is more culmore rather than Annandale Overall if I was in the area I would check it out again.“
“I've frequented this location several times, and the food has always been delicious. However, on my recent visit, despite specifying "no tomatoes and light onions" for my pollo saltado, the dish arrived with tomatoes and an abundance of onions. This deviation from my order was disappointing, considering they usually get it right. Nevertheless, the flavors were still on point, showcasing the authentic taste of Peruvian cuisine. Hopefully, they can improve their attention to custom orders for a more consistent dining experience.“
“I had a carne Asada it’s my #1 Plate The Food was delicious Very kind, Fast People. The ambient is very nice I have no complaints nothing bad to say about them. The only thing I would like to mention is that I don’t like using plastic silver wear I actually think that buying some real silver wear would Help them save money because they wouldn’t have to keep buying more and more every time they run out. 10/10 ???“
“Our server Almy was incredible. I asked for a spicy salsa and she went in the back and got ingredients and made me a fresh jalapeño salsa. I thought that was an amazing touch. She took really good care of us. I got the three enchiladas meal and it was so good. The food has a taste that’s different from your run of the mill Mexican place. It tastes authentic and made with care. I will definitely go back!“
“This is the perfect, family-friendly restaurant with good food and good drinks! Some of the best fajitas I’ve ever had. The seasoning is what really makes this restaurant stand out- it’s unlike any other I’ve ever had at a Mexican place before. The salsa is also a standout. The owners will make you feel like family. I can’t say enough good things about this place!“
“Breakfast burritos (especially the Mr T & Chicharron) are excellent & I always love the BBQ Pork burrito platter. The salsa is one of my favourites anywhere, but it's better when dining in. The takeaway salsa is always more watery. Service is hit or miss, but I'm not really there for the service anyway.“
“The food and drinks, all! In addition to the staff and service. Recently, the owner helped me with a car issue at almost 11pm. Dead battery. She went with me next door to find someone to help me jump start the battery. That didn’t work and she went further: she gave me a ride home! I’ve been visiting the restaurant for years, I thought she was the manager—I now know she owns the place. Ana, thank you for being so kind, nice, friendly and simply an outstanding individual. May you continue to succeed just as you have for 17 years! I love everything about El Pueblo even more now!“
“The first time we went here we weren't impressed. However, one of the owners reached out to us personally and invited us back. We have been back twice. They are awesome! The food is yummy and reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly! Only downside is they now do not have fountain drinks (cans only) but I think that's just a sign of the time of living in a pandemic. Hopefully, when we return to a somewhat normal existence this will be back. Love Guapo's and highly recommend!“
“Wowowow so I've been to Chuy's many a time. But this location in particular is awesome. I made a mistake on my end ordering through their online portal and it went to a different location. I came in and waited at the front for my order until a staff member walked up to me. I regret not reading his name tag bc he was very helpful and kind. He asked me about my order and I told him I had already been helped and was just waiting on my pickup order. He went to the back looking for my order and informed me it wasn't there. I showed him my receipt and he notified me I mistakenly ordered at Fairfax. Whoopsie daisy, I was willing to go drive there, but lucky for me, he already brought out a manager who had contacted Fairfax to cancel my order. I reordered my food, and then within LITERALLY 5 minutes I had my order. It was amazing service.Like I said, I regret not getting the waiters name. He has reddish blonde hair, tall (like 6"), blue eyes, and overall a gentleman. The front desk people were hilarious too and kept me entertained while I waited.“
“I was driving on the 234 road Sunday morning when my daughter saw the truck and she asked me to stop. I'm very hesitating to stop and eat on those food trucks due bad experiences on wineries and breweries . The truck was in the Shell's parking lot, the lady was very friendly and she took pur order promptly. Food was absolutely amazing we ordered pupusas and tacos . Definitely I would come backParking: Located in a parking lot“
“The best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Truly authentic. So fresh. I can’t even choose a favorite item but if I had to, I would go for the sopes. They also have the best flan I’ve ever tried! Great service, great food. I’ll always come back . Please don’t go anywhere!“
“This is a great spot if you are looking for places open until 2 AM. We ordered a cheese enchilada and margaritas. Total was around $80. The music was a bit loud and the servers did not speak English well but overall they were very nice and friendly. The food was delicious. We will return.Good food. Loud music, strobe lights.“
“A decent Tex-Mex location, but there are definitely better in the area. Food quality was average overall, though nothing stood out as particularly memorable. Service was prompt and there were plenty of seats. We came for lunch without a reservation and had no issues getting seated right away.Dietary restrictions: Menu was not clearly marked for dietary restrictions or common allergens.Parking: Parking was somewhat limited. There is a lot behind the restaurant, but it is a bit of a walk.“
“1230AM and didn’t want fast food. Lady answered the phone. Took my order. Could barely hear over the loud live music in the background. At that point I knew the food was gonna be delicious. CALLED ME BACK WHEN THE FOOD WAS DONE. Was super nice to me when I walked in. And the food was CRRAAZZZYYYY. Will be back.“
“I definitely enjoyed my first visit here. The food was good, I ordered the Fish & Shrimp tacos. Was very fresh, and the portion sizes were great. The service was top tier! I would definitely go back based on the service alone. The ambiance gives family friendly quick on the go stop. They have sit down dinning, but not a casual style. They have a nice sized menu with plenty of choices to choice from and again the food is fresh and made to order.“
“They don't have a bar but plenty of booth spacecomplementary chips while you decide on one item out of many (delicious menu) - went with the chicken burrito lunch special - it did not disappointThought the brown beans could have been thicker but just my preferenceOverall perfect“
“Klebers Restaurant, is an excellent place to eat and enjoy karaoke, whoever wants to say otherwise is in bad taste and little class, there you can play billiards for free too and the attention is appropriate and good service TOTALLY RECOMMENDED,13634 Jefferson Davis HwyWoodbridgeVirginiaAttended by its Owner and collaborators.???“
“Food-great, but the tacos are fairly small so order a minimum of two.Service - Top tier, they even cracked light hearted jokes. I personally prefer someone making recommendations, which they didn’t, but still I enjoy the chipper attitude.Atmosphere-a lot is going on and it is loud. Come there knowing you’ll be speaking loud, smashing tacos, and having a good time. The salsa is spicy for most people.“
“Omg, I absolutely love this place. The HAMBURGERS, chef's kiss. I recommend this restaurant to all my family that comes from out of state and we're never disappointed. The family that owns the restaurant are always super friendly. Always welcomes us with a big smiles.“
“The birria tacos are delicious. You have to get them. The green salsa (mild) is tasty, but the red (hot) does have really have any flavor. I took a stars off for service because I ordered online (second time), but it was not ready or even started when I got there even though I was there after the projected wait time. I took to stars off for atmosphere because I have been here half a dozen times and the music has always been too loud. On the upside, you can get away from the loud music by taking advantage of their outdoor seating. If there weather is nice, I recommend sitting outside.“
“Loved this place for years. I'm unsure why it took me so long to review. The burritos here are crazy good. I used to eat a stuffed pepper dish here but I can't remember the last time I ordered it. Regardless, that stuffed pepper was worth slapping your mom just to get away with hers. I tried the posole for the first time today and it is the nearest to perfection a soup can get. A little spicier than taco bamba's posole and the meat is fall off the bone tender, however, there are no bones in the soup“
“I went here with my pops (Dad) we are from LA and are of Mexican descent. Food was good, my shrimp was slightly over cooked by a minute but no biggy, flavor was there. I'm being picky. There's no chips and salsa like other Mexican restaurants and the rice with my dish had peas and carrots, rice was a tan color which from my experience isn't Mexican rice. The pupusa masa came with my shrimp which was bomb. So with that said I think it's more of a Salvadoran restaurant. I haven't had much else but my first experience was good.“
“WOW!!! Def 5/5 ⭐️ I couldn’t keep this spot a secret and decided to share with my friends. Def flavorful and a healthy amount of meat. I am BEYOND pleased!! Disregard ANY neg reviews. I know a good street taco and this truck is grade A. Salud and please keep them up and running! I will be back- lifelong customer ❤️ ? ? ? ? ?Also, if there is a language barrier.. understand this is 2024. Cut the ignorance bc an American could NEVER ?“
“So as a local foodie & Pupusa enthusiast i can confidently say that their Pupusas are the most consistent out of 90% of the places in the area. They definitely have a good cheese, size, filling & wait time. So Pupusas are a solid 9/10 The only way they would be a 10 is if they were just a bit greasy & that's just me being a harsh critic. The taste & consistency every time I order are on point! Props to the ladies in the back!“
“I didn't see an updated menu online so I wanted to post one. The food is pretty good. I tried 3 different tacos and the chimichanga. Planning to try something different on my next visit. (I had to position my camera in a way that I wouldn't get too much of a glare in the photos)“
“I always come here to get the lunch special! You get so much for so cheap. The food here is pretty good! I get the 1/4 chicken with rice ans fries! You get a ton! Its also really fast, whenever I go buy food here, it takes less than 5 minutes to get everything! I love peruvian chicken and so glad theres so many options available in this area.“
“I have been to this place a little too much in the last month because their food is really good; specially the carne asada. All the food I've tried is good in taste, quality and quantity. Their prices are very reasonable, too. The staff has always been polite and friendly.I've mostly done takeout but have eaten there twice. The eating area and the restroom were clean both times. But it's quite a bit loud and too casual for my taste. I recommend doing takeout and checking your food to make sure that your order is accurate before you leave.“
“Qdoba is my favorite place, they have the best service and the food is always great! Every time I order for pick-up the food is always ready early, I've never had to wait.Today I had to pick up my son early from school because he was sick. I called and asked if they bring my food to my car cause I didn't want to drag my sick son inside, and the woman was super kind and brought it out right away! Thank you very much, I really appreciated it! ❤️“
“I don’t like the fact that during KARAOKE nights, management keep filling up the floor with plenty of tables and chairs leaving no space for even few people to be able to dance. This is unacceptable! We understand that the restaurant needs to make money, but this is not the way. It truly looks very greedy to fill up of the room with tables and not consider clients that want to enjoy KARAOKE plus dancing. We are paying customers that need to be respected and not taken advantage. I hope management fixes this problem because a lot of people have stoped going because they rather go somewhere where they can eat, sing and dance comfortably.“
“The good: The food is always excellent quality. They’re not shy about the chips (other locations give you like five chips), staff are always friendly and helpful. The bad: My only complaint is very small. They advertise that they close at 10pm. However, on multiple occasions I have tried to grab some food between 9:30-9:45 and the doors are locked and they will signal that they are closed. I’m not taking away a star because the staff have explained it’s due to either staff shortage or food shortage, so not their fault.I do still highly recommend this Moe’s location.“
“Me encanta!!! Todo lo que he pedido se puede ver la calidad de ello. Las órdenes son hechas al momento, todo rico y buen precio!!! Cuando he tenido que ajustar el menú a mi necesidad y paladar, la dueña lo ha hecho terminando en un plato divino!!! Los recomiendo, vayan y demuéstrenle cariñito!!! Dios los bendiga“
