The staff were all very attentive and many wished her a happy birthday as they welcomed us in, which often gets overlooked at other restaurants, but it made her morning feel so much more special. It may seem like a small notion, but it was a touching detail to our initial visit. The brunch menu is small but packed with flavors and meaningful dishes. We love this and wish we could try it all. We decided to start with the PB&J French toast as a shared app. It’s an entree item, but upon hearing how much the owner loves this item we had to try it out. We also ordered the Pineapple Bun sliders and Tornado omelette. For us the trio of entrees was the perfect blend of savory, sweet, and salty, hitting all the right notes. Also highly recommend the Ellie Bird Latte. Glad we came, we will be back for more!”

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.”

I guess expansion and growth (they opened another branch in Arlingnton several years ago) is inevitable and capitalizing on this popularity has its own upside and downside. I ordered their Paa Tad fish dish which did not disappoint but a simple fried fish and for its size, the price was a bit exorbitant for me. I would still visit the place but would be more careful about my choices next time.”

My favorite dish, the Kadu Palow, is divided into a hearty beef stew, a well-seasoned rice, and an insanely delicious pumpkin. Each part of the dish offers a unique taste profile that goes from beefy to salty to a sweet with some yogurty-tang. It’s crazy how many flavors can live on just one plate and offer new experiences by mixing these taste ecosystems. Their decor is classy and a little fun with little die-cast cars lining the bar. The owner is super nice and always greets our family warmly. The restaurant is a staple in my life and their food has never failed to leave me heading home happy. If you haven’t been here, do yourself a favor and try the food.”

“If you’ve got a sweet tooth, Crumbl is dangerously good. The cookies are massive, soft, and served warm—basically a dessert lover’s dream. What really sets Crumbl apart is the weekly rotating menu. There’s always something new to try, from classic chocolate chip to wild, creative flavors like churro, key lime pie, or cosmic brownie. Some are hit-or-miss depending on your taste, but when they hit, they hit hard.
The presentation is also on point. The pink box feels premium, and the cookies look like they came straight out of a bakery photoshoot. They’re rich, thick, and shareable (though you might not want to share).
Only downside? They’re not cheap, and they’re definitely not “health food,” but for a treat, they’re worth every bite.
Highly recommend stopping in when a flavor catches your eye—you won’t regret it.”

“Now that the hype has somewhat died down, ramen enthusiasts like me can return and enjoy a bowl of ramen without the crazy wait times. Initially, the restaurant didn't handle crowd control well in their early months. There was no waitlist system, making it hard to justify waiting a couple of hours just for a bowl of ramen. But now that the curious crowd has dispersed, I've come back a few times to check the consistency of the flavor and to see if it might become my go-to spot for ramen. For this visit, we ordered the Classic Omurice Combo with curry sauce and the Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu. The Omurice Combo really stood out. We chose curry sauce over demi glace, which was a great decision – the curry sauce seemed to have more depth and paired better with the dish, in our opinion. The egg was cooked to perfection, not too thick and not too runny. The Amazing Lemonade drink with cucumber added to the experience, being refreshing and elevating the taste to another level. The Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu was also impressive. It featured thin slices of pork chashu, similar to my favorite ramen place in NYC. The smoky flavor of the chashu was excellent, adding aroma and depth to the dish. The slightly salty seaweed, along with the soft, sweet bamboo shoots, made for a good combination, enhancing the dish's flavor. The marinated egg, with its balanced taste and just-right cooking, was another highlight. Overall, Kyuramen delivered a memorable meal, with each element of the dishes complementing one another beautifully. The flavor has remained consistent during my recent visits, really standing out. This makes it not only the top spot on my ramen list in VA but also probably my second favorite spot overall in the East Coast. What sets Kyuramen apart is that it's the only ramen place in Northern Virginia that gives you the authentic feel of a ramen store. Sitting at the bar and watching the ramen-making process is a unique experience that adds to the charm. It’s definitely worth visiting for anyone who enjoys a mix of well-prepared flavors and dishes.”

I still feel like they could’ve brought us some more breadsticks…
Another friend got a lasagna plate, someone else got the pasta and I forget what our other person ordered.
The two of us got soup got the gnocchi soup. That’s always my favorite. It was brought out a normal portion sizes, and super hot. I like that the service was fast because in the past when I got that all you can eat things they take really long time.
The pasta portions for all you can eat, were normal size the first time the other times in a smaller plate, but I felt like it was about the same portions.
The waitress did give us containers to take them to go, including any leftover soup. I thought that was cool. Some places that do all you can eat don’t let you do that.
We went on a Monday night. There was many tables empty. We arrived at 8 o’clock. They close at 10. That was a sufficient amount of time to spend eating and enjoying friends.
I ordered a piña colada that was really good and in a gigantic cup. They did no ice in my cup of water.

Some are hit-or-miss depending on your taste, but when they hit, they hit hard.

Only downside? They’re not cheap, and they’re definitely not “health food,” but for a treat, they’re worth every bite.

“I visited Little Falls Cafe yesterday, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots. It’s incredibly cozy and aesthetic - truly the coziest cafe I’ve been to in the entire DMV area. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done.
The staff were super friendly, and the service was excellent. You can tell they care about creating a good experience for their customers.
