My family ordered donkotsu shio, donkotsu miso, and grilled hamachi. Ramen are just ok. I would not order ramen again if I go back here. There’s nothing really special about it. Grilled Hamachi was super soft, juicy, and not salty - exactly what I was looking for my young children.
Servers weren’t that friendly and there were only two servers. They were so busy to check on us. I waited like a meerkat for good 10 mins to ask for a check because I couldn’t get their attentions.
Overall, decent japanese restaurant but I am not sure if I would go back unless I am in the area.”

Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.”

Inside, there’s plenty of seating, so you don’t feel cramped or rushed, and the space has a comfortable, welcoming vibe. The food itself was solid, around an 8/10 for me, with fresh flavors and generous portions.
The wait time was a little on the longer side, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.
Parking was super convenient, with spots available right in front. All in all, I left satisfied and would definitely recommend giving it a try.”

Their menu has a lot of options for everyone, whether you are a meat lover or vegan. I particularly love their Kitfo and Veggie combo dish. I recently used their catering services for a private party for 100 people. I opted for the package that includes food, servers and bartenders. The food was delicious, my guests loved it and the servers were exceptional! The servers took care of my guests and provided the best service I have not seen elsewhere. I definetly recommend this place to anyone hosting an event and looking to impress with Ethiopian food, or wanting to simply dine at their restaurant. I will definetly use their catering services again.”

“My wife and I came here for the first time and were seriously impressed. The service is next level, the staff is incredibly attentive, and even compared to other Korean BBQ spots that cook and cut the meat for you, the attention to detail here is just that extra 5% better.
The quality of the meat is easily the best we’ve had at any Korean BBQ in Northern Virginia. The sides also stood out, especially the crunchy potato (kind of like a hash brown), which we highly recommend. And the sauces are hands down the best we’ve had anywhere.
Nothing is wildly different on its own.
it’s just that everything is a little better, and that’s what makes Puzukan Tan Korean Grill stand out. We’ll definitely be back.”

The food is wonderfully seasoned with tons of character and vibrant colors. The dish can evolve as you move from one side of your plate to another. My favorite dish, the Kadu Palow, is divided into a hearty beef stew, a well-seasoned rice, and an insanely delicious pumpkin. Each part of the dish offers a unique taste profile that goes from beefy to salty to a sweet with some yogurty-tang. It’s crazy how many flavors can live on just one plate and offer new experiences by mixing these taste ecosystems. Their decor is classy and a little fun with little die-cast cars lining the bar. The owner is super nice and always greets our family warmly. The restaurant is a staple in my life and their food has never failed to leave me heading home happy. If you haven’t been here, do yourself a favor and try the food.”

Like, the service here is much friendlier than the sit down restaurants I go to. I have almost always received better than average fast food here as well and rarely have to wait. I think the negative reviews are just people who come to complain, because I come here regularly for two years and find it’s pretty good. I worked in fast food before and know it can be stressful and customers can be pretty rude and demanding so I think these employees do a great job.”

New places opening up wont be like this which is why its so important to keep supporting City Diner- lets not make this a place that we only appreciate once its gone- its a place beyond the food- its a true family restaurant that has been there through multiple generations of my family.”

“Now that the hype has somewhat died down, ramen enthusiasts like me can return and enjoy a bowl of ramen without the crazy wait times. Initially, the restaurant didn't handle crowd control well in their early months. There was no waitlist system, making it hard to justify waiting a couple of hours just for a bowl of ramen. But now that the curious crowd has dispersed, I've come back a few times to check the consistency of the flavor and to see if it might become my go-to spot for ramen. For this visit, we ordered the Classic Omurice Combo with curry sauce and the Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu. The Omurice Combo really stood out. We chose curry sauce over demi glace, which was a great decision – the curry sauce seemed to have more depth and paired better with the dish, in our opinion. The egg was cooked to perfection, not too thick and not too runny. The Amazing Lemonade drink with cucumber added to the experience, being refreshing and elevating the taste to another level. The Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu was also impressive. It featured thin slices of pork chashu, similar to my favorite ramen place in NYC. The smoky flavor of the chashu was excellent, adding aroma and depth to the dish. The slightly salty seaweed, along with the soft, sweet bamboo shoots, made for a good combination, enhancing the dish's flavor. The marinated egg, with its balanced taste and just-right cooking, was another highlight. Overall, Kyuramen delivered a memorable meal, with each element of the dishes complementing one another beautifully. The flavor has remained consistent during my recent visits, really standing out. This makes it not only the top spot on my ramen list in VA but also probably my second favorite spot overall in the East Coast. What sets Kyuramen apart is that it's the only ramen place in Northern Virginia that gives you the authentic feel of a ramen store. Sitting at the bar and watching the ramen-making process is a unique experience that adds to the charm. It’s definitely worth visiting for anyone who enjoys a mix of well-prepared flavors and dishes.”

The food is wonderfully seasoned with tons of character and vibrant colors. The dish can evolve as you move from one side of your plate to another. My favorite dish, the Kadu Palow, is divided into a hearty beef stew, a well-seasoned rice, and an insanely delicious pumpkin. Each part of the dish offers a unique taste profile that goes from beefy to salty to a sweet with some yogurty-tang. It’s crazy how many flavors can live on just one plate and offer new experiences by mixing these taste ecosystems. Their decor is classy and a little fun with little die-cast cars lining the bar. The owner is super nice and always greets our family warmly. The restaurant is a staple in my life and their food has never failed to leave me heading home happy. I had a pizza another night and that was good, not great but a good choice at the Tandem. I had a Cesar Salad both nights and both salads were very good so I recommend that.”
