“We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts! The owner was also so kind - we just felt so cared for the whole time and can't wait to visit again.“
“Honestly, this is some of the best Persian food I've had in an upscale restaurant. I've had a ton in LA and Dubai.Each dish is thoughtful and incredibly well seasoned. They are true to traditional preparations, with an elegant flare in presentation.The one big minus was the service. The gentleman was kind and knowledgeable, but they forgot an appetizer, and food came out rather slowly. It wasn't too busy either. This rating could easily been a 5 star, with better service.“
“This is really a Mediterranean place, with typical options. They even asked if I wanted ice in the water, nice touch! I had a wrap with lamb. The lamb was hit or miss, some chunks tender and some quite chewed. My wife's falafel wrap was wonderful. The coffee and water were great.“

“Very flavorful food! I order from them at least once or twice a month. Their restaurants are much cleaner than some other Kabob places. Only negative thing about Moby Dick House of Kabob is they don't have chickpeas and spinach like most kabob restaurants do, which is strange because they are all famous side dishes. For that reason, I frequent other kabob restaurants because my kids like those aforementioned side dishes.“
“So, I stumbled upon Maman Joon Kitchen at Tyson's and l can say its a solid chicken spot Vegetarian Friendly: Sadly this spot is not a great place as a lot of the menu is meat heavy. They do have options but you should really eat here as there main attraction is meat Decor: The ambiance is inviting and chill. It's the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. And the bonus is they have outside heaters that keep you warm if you want to sit outside. Food Highlights: The Chicken Kabob stole the show for me as it was very well marinated and they included bread and yogurt which was great! Portion Size: Portion sizes are pretty good here so you definitely won't leave hungry, and you might even have some leftovers to enjoy later. But I wish they included 1-2 pieces of chicken as there was a lot more rice to chicken. Price: Considering the quality and quantity of the food, I'd say the prices are reasonable especially for Tyson Area. And just wanted to say there service was really good and got the chance to met the owner Peter Tabibian who was very nice and welcoming! Would I go Back: So even though it's good if I am in the mood for Chicken and Rice I would rather go to DCG as it has more toppings. But for a kabob place it was pretty good!“

Every dish was a masterpiece, showcasing the richness and depth of Persian cuisine. We had Adas Polo with mast-e mosir and Dough and we took Kale Pacheh home. “It was our first time here. We were looking for Turkish or Persian food in the Northern Virginia area. Called and made a reservation for 6 PM. When we arrived, maybe 1/3 of the restaurant was full so we were a little worried that it wasn't a popular place. our server was very pleasant, answering all of our questions, and being very patient with us. we ordered two appetizers, the eggplant dip, and the olive and pomegranate dip. WOW! Incredibly fresh, made from scratch - really enjoyed both of those. The appetizers were delicious and absolutely from scratch. Alcoholic beverage selections are decent. I was hoping for an authentic Iranian or Persian beer, but only domestic on the menu. Great wine selection, and several mixed drinks. We ordered mostly skewers, including the lamb, which was so tender and flavorful, the chicken, which my wife said was the one of the best chicken kebabs she had ever had and I am GREEK (the spices were so unique and flavor was off the charts), A combo, one with skewer of beef fillet, and the ground beef skewer (tenderloin, of course, crazy tender cooked to perfection, the ground beef (I'm not sure I liked that flavor. There was something in there that was off to me flavor wise a spice maybe? not sure). For sides three of us had salad, which was fresh, crisp and delicious with the dressing and I had the rice, which I found very nice and flavorful. we finished off with the saffron, pistachio ice cream (we had a birthday girl with us) HOLY smokes that was quite a treat to the senses! It was the first time any of us had that, rich and creamy full of finely chopped pistachios and simply delicious. In the end a?great experience! Oh and the restaurant was packed when we left so my worries about it not being popular were obviously dead wrong 100% recommend this delicious restaurant! Yes, parking is a little tight because it's an older property (much narrower and small parking lot) but we did just fine.“

“The food and service at this place is always awesome. Especially the gentleman who runs the front of the house. His name is Marvin, and he's the nicest guy you could ever meet. If you want good food, pretty quickly, and like people in general, this is a great place to get it. I've become a regular customer and I love this place.“
