“I know it's weird to give a gas station 5 stars but it's hard to find a small convenient store with a decent grill like the ones I grew up on. They have all closed or at least shut down the grill. Growing up in Martinsville there were other options and I never had to go to Ridgeway for this but now that I live in NC, I stop here nearly every time I go back home. They have hotdogs (the old style with Jesse Jones type red weenies), burgers, salads and much more not to mention all the sides like fries, onion rings, and hush puppies. I've never had anything here I didn't like. Plenty of beverages to choose from but I prefer the Pepsi fountain unit. There is also a sitting area incase you decide to eat there and not in your car. The staff is always nice and accommodating. Growing up I remember getting three dogs for $.99. That's no longer the case but I still love those dogs! Stop in and give them a try the next time you're driving down 220 in Ridgeway.“

“The best kept secret in Martinsville, Va nice, cozy little atmosphere with the best food around! The desserts are home-made and the best you'll ever have anywhere! Home-made pies and cookies!! Absolutely 5 stars for all. Service is spot on! The nicest wait staff you will ever see!“
“For a place that doesn't have their hours posted, (I came on 2:00 on a friday), and no signage, I was lucky enough to wander in at the behest of another patron sitting on the porch. I want to say this is without a question of doubt: the best pot roast I've had in my life, short of my grandma's own recipe. My only regret is not leaving room to try the fish. From what I understand the restaurant is open from 12:00-5:30. Unless they have a catering event. If the owner sees this review feel free to correct me about the hours.Parking: Free parking across the street.“

“We've come here a few times - mostly breakfast until today when we had lunch. My husband really enjoyed the meatloaf (which is rare because he doesn't like most restaurants meatloaf ). Great atmosphere, the staff really cares. All the food has been terrific. Definitely go check this place out when you're in town!“

“Best breakfast food around! We have lived in Martinsville for a few years now and have been searching for a place with a flavorful and satisfying breakfast with great service. Well, after all this time we finally found it!This morning we ordered a Western omelet and an all meat omelet, and let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS, and packaged up for us so nicely. Not only that, but the owner is so friendly and helpful! We ordered online and my husband went in for pick up, and he gets anxious in new places. But the owner instantly put him at ease and made him feel welcome. My husband and I are so impressed, he wanted to drive back over there just to tell them how amazing their food and service is. Both of us really believe in building people up who deserve it, and Do Drop In certainly does. So, I just want to extend our thanks for a perfect breakfast and excellent service. We can't wait to try all the other dishes there. I have never had curry before, but looking at their well-designed menu makes me want to try some of theirs. All of it looks and sounds amazing, so Do Drop In has earned some new regulars! To potential customers: Grab some breakfast and you will be hooked too! I definitely recommend the omelets!“

“Just got home from an amazing stay at this wonderful place...great food, beautiful accommodations, and super hostess Priscilla. She went above and beyond great service...even made "scrapple" for my husband! Such a unique home filled with some gorgeous antiques. Thank you for a beautiful weekend.“
