“We stayed here in our RV through Harvest Host but we're only two hours from home and would honestly consider making this a day trip. It's a great spot that's very convenient to the highway. We each had a flight and really enjoyed the wine so we bought several bottles to take home. We sat outside at a firepit because it was an unreasonably warm March afternoon, but the inside has plenty of ambience as well. Definitely worth a stop!”

“I have tried the buffet at Persis and I felt it was worth every dollar. There were handful of vegetarian options and non vegetarian options for entrees and appetizers.

More importantly, I have never seen Thalapakattu Mutton biryani in buffet menu in USA. All the dishes were very good in buffet. Very few dishes weren’t frequently refilled but most of them were quickly refilled during buffet hours.

Although we felt like the service could have been better and furniture could have been refurnished from the old restaurant. The high chair in the restaurant was in very bad shape. I wish the furniture in the restaurant was upgraded and the service was better alongside food.”

Salad chef provides beautifully prepared fresh & delicious salads. Ask for Alex for excellent service - it feels like eating at home with your Italian family. He is amazing with customers. Susie makes specialty beverages where you want to try all of them. Nice addition to Glen Allen! Well done.”

“It's a hole in the wall restaurant in a strip mall. No atmosphere to speak of. The food presentation gives the impression of a few steps above fast food. They have hit the bulls eye! The food is delicious and plentiful. I got the felafel platter; enough for 2 meals. It wasn't the lunch special, so maybe the lunch portion is smaller. The desserts seem to be standard Sysco fare. It filled up quickly during lunch, so it's a popular place. I will definitely go back when I'm out that way.”

“While visiting the area, I wanted to try something we don't have back home. Alohahola was great choice! The website was easy to use and the pictures/descriptions were helpful when selecting items. After ordering online, I headed to the restaurant where my food was ready in the most adorable bag.
The snow coconut chicken was delicious and the rice and macaroni salad made for tasty sides. I also ordered the crispy spam musubi - fabulous!
I should also mention that I only ate about 1/3 to 1/2 of the meal because there was SO MUCH!

“My husband and I have been long time patrons of this particular place. We always get the Pho soup and it is to die for! It’s always tasty and hot and the staff always takes such good care of us :) We can honestly say we have never had a bad meal here in the almost 3 years we’ve been going. The consistency is what keeps us coming and this place is easily my number one favorite place to eat. You must try the grilled BBQ pork spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce, oh my gosh it is heaven in one bite!”

“i love chuys. i mainly go for the sauces. creamy jalepeno, boom boom sauce, queso. all 3 are hands down amazing. my fave thing is the coom boom chicken. im not a fan of the rice or beans it comes with. they always taste old. like theyve just been sitting and taste old. i usually sub for just fries. the fries are amazing and simple. lol. they are cooked fresh and always hot. the enchilas always need extra sauce. the chicken is usually so dry. they have rillenos available only on the weekend, but beware its not the same rellenos they had years ago. these ones are not that good”

“I am a DoorDash driver, and I’ve been to this location frequently. Every single time, it is spotless, everyone is so kind, and they are quick to bring out the food. When I was there today, there was an ENTIRE group of people with one singular order (I’d say around 35 people? All on one ticket.) and I had 2 DoorDash orders. Let me tell you, I have never seen ANY restaurant, regardless of if it was fast food or not, bring out such quality food in such a timely fashion. Not to mention they were so patient with the entire group, and me! They were so nice, and such troopers. Good job today, guys!!”

Shame on us for continuing to order after several inaccurate orders that were reported through surveys and acknowledged, but we had hope that those were one offs. When they are good, they are good. But when they are bad, it's so random as to how bad they are. I've had the occasional sauces (paid extra) forgotten all the way to ordering a vegetarian pizza only to have it arrive with chicken on it. I then even let them get me two times back to back where I ordered the heavily advertised hot honey (also paid extra for this extra) and didn't get it either time. The last straw, ordered at 10:30pm, received a notification at 11:15pm (email) that my pizza was on the way. At 12:18am it was delivered. I am completely aware that it was obviously a very busy night. However, my food rode around in a car for at least an hour, and it showed. That's a problem. I confess that we have ordered once since then but it was going in knowing that it would likely suck. And while it came as ordered, and in a timely manner, it's no where near the quality it was when this location first opened and hasn't been in a very long time.”
