“We got take out from here and it was really good! The fried rice, egg rolls, egg drop soup, and general tso's chicken were all excellent. I wouldn't recommend the salmon hibachi though. The people were very nice and the prices are reasonable.“
“Ordered the Chicken Hibachi, Peppered Tuna Roll, Salmon Avacado Roll, a Thai tea, and a soft drink for $32. The rolls had huge pieces of fish, the hibachi was fantastic, and the Thai tea was super tasty. I'm glad there was two of us because the portions were big for the price! We will be back!!“
“I've been going here for years and I've always loved it. I haven't had many problems ever going here. I highly recommend it and if you had a bad experience I recommend giving it another shot. It's a buffet so not everything is perfect every single time.“
“This place was so adorable and the food was great! Due to dietary restrictions, I can't have much rice, so I asked for a Philly roll without rice, which is a strange request, I'm sure haha. They did a great job!Dietary restrictions: They were willing to alter the sushi roll to fit my needs. Thank you!“
“Tried a new sushi place when we were out and about in Richmond. This tiny little spot was highly rated and reviews mentioned fresh fish so we chose to go here. THE REVIEWS DID NOT LIE! Every single bite we had was amazingly fresh, the sashimi portions were great, and the waitress (didn't catch her name, but a very nice blonde lady, says she's there every night) was great with recommending a delicious sake. On point with snagging us anything we needed right away, despite having a restaurant full of guests. The two sushi chefs were spot on, and this place also has a really cool Sky Roll (i think) made with cucumber wrap and no rice. That was not only cool but it was delicious. We will definitely be back again, worth every penny! The food was so good that I didn't even get pictures, we just dug right in! *NOTE: The only reason we spent about $50 or a smidge more per person is because my husband and I can REALLY do work on some ngiri or sashimi. It's our absolute favorite dinner.*Parking: There is a free parking lot right around the corner for all the local businesses, called Devil's Triangle Lot“
“I order or sit at Miyabi almost every week. Everything I have ever ordered always tastes and looks amazing in my opinion. Everyone is always friendly and I love how they remember my face now, so whenever I come in they bring me my food instantly when it’s ready. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for quality sushi, hibachi and etc.“
“I have been coming here for years. My husband and I love to do this as a date frequently! We each order a Sumo Attack and start with the rock and roll shrimp. It’s a ton of food so make sure you are hungry. The chef chooses the cuts of fish and it’s never a let down (for true sushi lovers!) I think my sister even had her 21st bday party here!“
“Even if you're not particularly a fish person, their other food is absolutely amazing. I almost want to move to RVA so I can have their gyoza and chicken basil thai dish everyday ? we actually went back a second time and tried the chefs choice Sashimi as well and again it did not disappoint in the slightest! Both times, the staff were amazing, incredibly helpful, and accommodating (one visit was with a large group (10) the other was just my boyfriend and I). Very reasonably priced as well! We were seated immediately both times too!“
“This place for some reason closes in the middle of the day and opens again at 430.Food was excellent but they really need to bring back the brunch special they had before covid. That is what put them on the map. Hopefully sooner rather then later.“
“Many have already said it, but this is kind of one of those hidden gems. Never really busy inside, but definitely always busy for takeout and delivery service orders. This isn't like a fancy date night kinda place, but it's definitely a place for a great meal when not worried about the ambiance. It's a rather open place with the seating being right by the sushi bar and open to the entrance all in one view, and there is like another section of the restaurant behind that wall, but I think they only use it if busy/full it seems. Service is okay and pretty typical for what you get at most hibachi style restaurants, which is not personable but just checklist style. I'm okay with it though as long as it's attentive and my drink isn't empty, so no worries because this spot is intimate enough to be checked on and constantly see your server. Sushi here is fresh and delish. This time I ordered just a spider roll as an appetizer, but have had the pleasure of trying many different sushi options here before. Definitely a good choice to try something. I really like their hibachi, despite them not having a grill where you get the show and it's cooked in front of you. Honestly, sometimes (most times) I don't want the show and just want to eat lol so I actually like that I get my food in about 20 mins! The only things I wish they would change is to cut the veggies more and bring out yum yum and/or ginger sauce without having to ask for it. Either way food is great. I've also ordered takeout during lunch and prices are great and portions are decent. I always appreciate consistency between lunch and dinner and dine in vs takeout for a restaurant, and they are consistent regardless of how you dine. I like that it's kinda low key in the cut and never packed and pretty intimate for a quick hibachi or sushi dinner!“
