“We arrived around noon on a Sunday in February. We were greeted promptly and were allowed to pick our own table. It was fairly busy but there were several tables open. It is deceiving from the exterior, because it’s actually a nice ambience with, by gosh, real tablecloths. There is a nice bar area and then a couple of separate areas with tables. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. Service was good and the food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. For lunch, my spouse ordered the Sailor sandwich, and I ordered the Cuban. The Sailor came stuffed with pastrami, knockwurst and baby swiss on rye. The Cuban had slow roasted pulled pork, Virginia pit ham, smoked provolone, dill pickles and dijonnaise. Both were tasty but the Sailor was the winner – that knockwurst knocked it out of the park! The french fries were lightly breaded, and they were hot and delicious. Prices are average for the area. Highly recommend!“

“On 08/03/2022, my wife and I brought our cousins here to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The food and service was excellent. Our waiter was Sean. HOWEVER, during the reservation process, I was asked at least twice if there was a celebration and if so what type. I indicated on both occasions that it was a anniversary. I just assumed that when I was asked about the occasion that this occasion would somehow be acknowledged. It wasn't. (Happy anniversary). I heard the waiter at the table next to ours wish the celebrants a happy anniversary. Also, based on other reviews on this site, I noticed that a dessert was given to the celebrants as a memento. Not to our party. As I said, the service and food were excellent but missing the little "happy anniversary" left me and my wife feeling a little empty.“

“Came here for lunch and the inside looked very nice. When we were seated, our table was wobbly. After letting them know the waiters immediately fixed our table very quickly. Afterwards I ordered the lunch bento box surf and turf burger($26) with a summer salad , and 4 piece California roll. Salad was fresh and light. The California roll was great for being a basic roll. The burger was cooked to a medium, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. The lobsters hollandaise and garlic aioli was the icing on top, absolutely wonderful! The wait staff here was top notch, refilling drinks and fixing our initial wobbly table. Food is always very good here, definitely on the pricier end for lunch (and even more expensive for dinner) but it was a fantastic experience here. “We went to Texas De Brazil for dinner. 6pm. We were greeted promptly and were seated within 2 minutes. We ordered a bottle of the featured wine from Brazil, a very nice blend. It paired very well with our dinner. Meats were served piping hot and when I told the gaucho I like rare, he quickly returned with picanha and flank steak cooked perfectly for me!!! Outstanding service. We also ordered cheesecake for dessert and it was a generous portion. The manager stopped by to check on us and took the time to talk with us about our experience. We were very pleased with our evening!“

“Hondos has been a favorite since i moved here, they have great lunch specials for $12.95 and a large variety of items. Dinner on 5.8 was delightful, had one of the best wait staff yet, she was attentive but not overly so, the food was time correctly and perfectly done.“

The servers are always attentive, and the food well-prepared and served at the correct temperature: warm but not so hot as to burn one’s mouth. “Great experience. I selected this restaurant for an intimate birthday celebration with my 80 year old mother. She wanted to celebrate myself and her young adult grandchildren's birthday and cover the cost. The restaurant offered a casual elegance, with a variety of food options at a price point that won't limit the chance to be adventurous. My mother came from out of state and she is a picky eater. She enjoyed everything at the restaurant and kept asking who chose to come here. She had a great time.“
