“The food was very good and the setting was very nice. We asked for a table by a window if possible and the Hostess was a able to seated us by a window. The toast my Mother had was burnt around the edges and the Waitress didn't ask what kind of bread she wanted. I will in the future looking at what Waitress/Waiter are working and ask if we can be seated in their area if possible. I know I have seen several new faces. I have had two Christmas Breakfast and they have been very very nice and had the same Waitress both years. Looking forward to Christmas Breakfast this year. Thanks Ed Taylor“
“This whole review could be dedicated to the atmosphere, but that would do a disservice to the rest of the experience. Top level service, comfortable but classy vibe, and wonderful food. Each dish was nuanced, layered with flavor and texture. The crab cakes were indeed all crab, and the potato leek soup was absolute velvet, wonderful and creamy. “I came here for a work event and we were directed to the event space. I got the short rib and a couple others got the salmon. Both were wonderful.Drinks were a little slow but heavily poured and made for a lively evening.The night was made by the service given by Rylee. She took the time to connect with everybody and made us all feel welcome while giving wonderful service. Her patience and expertise made the night a wonderful experience!“
“Our first time coming in here and I must say I wasn't disappointed but I wasn't impressed. For our appetizer we had the southern egg rolls which were delicious, but the fact that 1 order is just 1 egg roll cut in half for 8 dollars in my opinion is a bit much, so we ordered 2. Next the mains, my wife ordered the baked chicken with Mac and cheese and cabbage, the baked chicken was very juicy but over seasoned, the Mac and cheese was decent but that cabbage was just way to sweet for our liking. Myself I ordered the shrimp and grits w/ bacon. Flavor wise I thought it was perfect but when I asked the hostess was it supposed to be that cold she picked up the plate and said "well the bottom of the plate is warm". Not trying to make a big stink out of it I asked her to simply put it in the microwave, she came back with a fresh order but now forgot my bacon smh, once I asked my waiter for my bacon, another server stood off to the side analyzing my plate like I'm gonna lie over bacon. All in all I would recommend that if you haven't tried it yet please do so. Picture of shrimp and grits was the first order before i asked for another“
“The service here was amazing. Once seated, Emily waisted no time ensuring we had all questions answered and promptly brought drinks out once we decided on what to order. When we ordered the food, the food was out within 10 minutes of us placing the order and tasted amazing. The atmosphere was calm and quiet with a variety of music playing. We sat on the patio with a nice breeze.“
“Easily the best BBQ I’ve had in quite some time. The brisket was melt in your mouth and the sauces (I tried all of them) complimented the meat so well. Can’t wait to go back and try the ribs. The table next to us ordered them and said they were top notch. We also had a large group with 6 children under 6 yo and ate in their dining room. Owner and staff took great care of us. “Stopped in for lunch. It was very busy as the hostess was dealing with two large groups. She apologized repeatedly. I understood and was patient (I'm never in a rush to rush others). I ordered the mini burger, chicken tenders and fries for my two children. My wife had the hangover burger with a lemon drop martini. I had the fried fish Gripper (it was huge). The flavor and crust was perfect. They have a great beer selection. There were no IPA's on tap so I had the Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat. Our server, Taylor, was amazing and attended to every requests quickly. Thank you for being awesome!“

Most of us got the specials, which were creative and well executed, but our daughter got the hanger steak and said it was the best she has ever had. We had a hard time deciding which dessert so we each got something and shared. The sticky pudding was my favorite of all! The ambiance was beautiful & comfortable. We highly recommend Shagbark!“

“Small restaurant attached to our hotel (Linden Row Inn). Perfect for late dinner after check in. Excellent service, good cocktails and the food was good as well. Husband loved his Fish and Chips. Two guests had the Smash-burger and said it was a bit dry. Could have used a special sauce. I had the autumn salad with shrimp. It hit the spot. Appetizers were excellent - fried oysters and green tomatoes were great.“

“I got the Chicken Fiesta soup and the Jalapeño Holly chicken salad…it was my first time there. I was not at all impressed with the soup! It was MUSHY and Watery….however; The chicken salad was very flavorful….I didn’t have to add any pepper or salt (lol) and I ate every drop! It made up for the soup I had to trash…..AND I’m a picky eater! It was pretty good for the first time (and I’m basing that off of the chicken salad alone) - I will definitely try again though…but not the soup.“
