“This is such a sweet place with people who clearly love to cook and be adventurous with their menu. I had the chicken salad tacos and I loved the watermelon radishes instead of a taco shell. The flavors were outstanding and the outdoor seating was beautiful. The prices are reasonable and the options are plenty! I fed myself and my kids and got drinks plus a tip for $60. There isn't a road sign on Main Street that I saw, but the GPS gets you there easily. Definitely check it out! We'll be coming back ☺️☺️”

“This adorable coffee shop has such a great vibe. It’s the kind of place you want to sit for hours and talk with friends or read a book. Their coffee is super yummy with all homemade syrups and their oatmeal bar is on point! Definitely stop in if you’re passing through town.”

“I ate here a few weeks ago and I was extremely impressed. From outside it doesn't look so nice. It looks very old and add a date from outside. The inside is a nice atmosphere. “Best french toast I've ever had! ?The only caveat is that I added a lot of the fruit that was a side, inside in between the layers ???? (strawberries and blueberries) great job with the nuts... also amazing steak and egg sandwich!!! The cilantro jalapeño aoli is bomb af, and you get it on a CROISSANT... Latte was smooth and barely sweet, with honey available to add at your leisure. I just wish they had more locations, more obvious signage, and more space inside. Quite the hidden jewel ?”

“As a Texan many people assume I know good barbecue. What I had here was some of the best barbecue I have ever had. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The cornbread melted in your mouth. I have never found any where as good as this place in my area of Texas. The enviroment was super friendly and inviting, everyone was beyond nice. I absolutely adored The Bone and WILL be back.”

“New and happening place in Marshall VA located on Main Street. I like the cozy feel of small town and food is to die for. First time there I sat at the bar and delighted on a Devils Backbone and Salmon- moist, not overcooked, seasoned, and filling. Second time a friend and I waited in the parking lot until it opened at 11. We were not disappointed! Clam chowder reminded me of Chesapeake Bay Seafood House! Clams were not chewy, base tasted like a touch of New England on the shore. Amazing! Then the third time, we had the NY strip steak - prepared to perfection!! The flavor and so tender that you could cut it with a fork. Wings were marinated with the flavor instead of cooked with sauce poured over it. Chef is absolutely amazing. Drinks are cold, food is prepared perfectly and served hot. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean. Staff is very personable and friendly. The owner walked around and introduced himself. Very down to earth people! It’s a must visit for yourself!Parking: Parking in the front, sides, and back of the restaurant. They are lined spaces so no chaos. You can also park on Main Street.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed. The restaurant has booths and high chairs for the little ones to sit in. Music is fantastic and the staff is very friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: When dining a gentleman wheeled in and was able to comfortably sit at a table while his friend set in the booth.”

“This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I originally planned to go for a late breakfast at eggexpectations when we pulled up and saw that they were no longer in business and had closed! What’s up with that? This place was always busy every time we went. So being somewhat new to the area, I did a search for restaurants near me. Brooklyn Brothers showed up right next-door and they had good reviews. So we said , why not?We went in and a pretty young lady greeted us and sat us at a booth. We were the only ones there, but it was after the lunchtime rush would’ve been. We were promptly served drinks but it took us a while to decide what we wanted to order because there were so many things on the menu that sounded really good. We ended up ordering their signature, Brooklyn Brothers pizza to share, and my husband ordered a regular salad and I ordered a modified house salad(added feta and olives, sort of like a Greek salad). The salad greens were fresh and it included roasted peppers, fresh red onions and cucumbers and cheese. It was a very nice sized helping. When the pizza came, my husband and I looked at each other - if it tasted half as good as it looked, we would be happy. Well, I have got to tell you, it is some of the best crust I have had in years, and I am Italian! Plenty of meat toppings and nice and cheesy. My husband commented that it’s one of the best pizzas he has ever had in his life and he is 66 years old… Lol We couldn’t believe we had lived in the area almost 7 years and had never come to this place. We asked how long they had been in the area, 16 years!Anyway, sorry for the long review. The food selection is numerous, the prices were fair, the atmosphere is nice and clean, and the staff was attentive . I can tell you now it will become one of our regular places to eat.”

“My friend and I visited The Oyster Bar in Middleburg, VA. We LOVED our dinner and cocktails. We both ordered salads, and we were very impressed by the different flavors and textures of the salads. I ordered the grilled salmon salad and my friend ordered the marinated Thai steak salad. The Mule cocktail was delicious with fresh lime and ginger . I highly recommend this restaurant for some amazing food and a fun and lively atmosphere.”

“I grew up on Spitoney’s and am pushing 48 now. It is the slice I judge all others against. Sausage mushroom and pepperoni is my go to pie. And the cheeseburger sub with grilled onions is always on point. Nothing fancy, but always great food and service and it feels like home. When did you last walk into place and find the owner working the flat top or the register? Bill and family are good people.”

“A group of friends and I reserved the Loft space at Lost Barrel for an event and had an absolutely great time. The food was fantastic, the drinks were great, the servers were all super nice and attentive and the grounds of the property and a delight to walk around and hang out in. Definitely recommend and will be back.”
