“I usually don’t leave reviews but I had to for this restaurant. I’ve been eyeballing this place since I moved to Chesterfield last summer and I finally decided to try it. This was the best food I’ve had from a restaurant in a while. I had the spicy beef soup and fried dumplings. The soup was a perfect mix of savory and spicy. The fried dumplings were crispy and incredibly juicy. I went on a Friday around 2:00 pm and it wasn’t very busy. My waitress was also incredibly sweet. Overall if you’re looking for real authentic Korean food this is the place. I will be back soon with friends! Thanks, Yewon!”

The little rubber duck on the delicious Pumpkin Espresso Martini was such a cute ending to an amazing meal. I highly recommend attending these events and I look forward to their winter event.”

Although l did witness this one young waitress (blonde hair braided in ponytail) come out the bathroom stall and walked right out the restroom and didn't wash her hands. I was highly disgusted. They need reiterate how in important for staff to wash their hands. On another note the menu offered a great selection, and the crab ragoon I ordered was incredibly delicious! The dessert ordered was delicious. l believe it was called Brule or something like that. Portion sizes were generous, and prices were reasonable but some were a little pricey. Other than that l do plan on returning again.”

“Recently had Sunday lunch and food and service was very good. It is one of my favorite places to eat. If you have gone for burger night and were not entirely satisfied with your burger, don't judge the entire restaurant by that meal. The price of the burger is good but it has been my experience they are so slammed by the volume that sometimes the burgers and the service are not up to their usual standards. Love their German wurst plate and their salads.”

“First time to Mission BBQ and we liked it. First of all we had to redirect from Texas Roadhouse as they had long waiting time. The place was moderately full. The person at the order was very nice and explained all the dishes. The food Smoked chicken was very good, warm and juicy. We had a bad experience of overpaid smoked but dry chicken recently so this was very good in comparison. The pulled chicken with bread was a bit dry and my son left half of it.
They were near closing so gave us bread caramel pudding on the house and it was delicious. Will go there again just for smoked chicken and pudding.”

“I can’t say enough good things about this little hidden jewel of a restaurant. The food and drinks are outstanding. The service is friendly and prompt. The restaurant itself is lovely and spotless. My only complaint is that it is hidden behind a berm on Hull Street and it is confusing because it faces Hull Street but must be entered through the shopping center parking lot…..but it is well worth your time to seek it out.”

“I came from Georgia too try Brooklyn pizza. Being from New York originally I have not yet found a place that comes close to home. I have say kase was amazing. I give this shop a 10+ over the top. The next time I'm in Virginia I will be stopping by. So if you want a huge New York style pizza stop by Brooklyn pizza authority.

“I was surprised that my gyro platter didn’t actually have a gyro on it but a bunch of chopped up lamb with pita triangles. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how I was supposed to eat it. Owners may want to examine that. All the signs posted about an up charge if a credit card is used was very off putting. I considered not coming because it was so stuck in my head from a past visit. My elderly mother was so appalled, she suggested not leaving a tip. Of course I tipped but I mentioned this so owners will see what is going through guests minds when they read those signs. Please get rid of them. Guests know that restaurants are charged for credit card services but we don’t like to be reminded. Our waitress never checked back on us and our drinks went dry. Consider employee training. I will return because generally the food is terrific and Bellgreek is close to my home. Hope my comments are helpful to management.”

“We eat at a Cava every week, no matter where we are, as long as there is one close. First time here visiting Midlothian. Great timely service at a busy time and excellent flavors with the bowl ordered. Would definitely eat here again more than once per week if we lived here.”

I just so happened to be traveling back home on 288 and found Mangas Mini Treats on google, the reviews looked great and I needed cupcakes for an event tomorrow. Upon entering Jeaketa welcomed me with such hospitality. Not to mention the store smelt AMAZING! The presentation was absolutely beautiful. My daughter asked for a chocolate chip cookie too and it was gone within a matter of minutes. We of course tried one of the oreo cupcakes tonight and WOW! Just wow. I usually am an icing girl (don’t get me wrong the icing was outstanding) but with this cupcake I was both icing and cake :) The little touch of the oreo cookie at the bottom was so perfect. Mine was close. Hers, not so much. I would have to return to try other options. The service was ok, nothing to write home about. I would have liked if the hostess had spoken to me in Italian, as I spoke to her. Sigh. The atmosphere, meh. Dark. Nothing particularly Italian about it. Wish they had played music in Italian like Andrea Bocelli. I will go back.”

The entrance into the shop is a little awkward… And uncomfortable. I wish I had felt like I was walking into a more sophisticated place after paying $150 for a small cake. But Ellen was very sweet and charming!”

“I came in last week with my daughter. I believe the guy who made our food was named dylan. He was super friendly and answered all our questions with no problems even though we were coming in close to closing time! One of the things we asked about was the jalapeño chips, if they were too spicy? He gave his opinion that they were not too, and it seemed to be very accurate for us! The store was very clean and my daughters sandwich was just the way she ordered it! Thank you for the great experience and her dinner on the run after a night of shopping!”

We pulled right up to the front door and parked in a marked spot, for patrons only.

As soon as we entered, the owner greeted us warmly and quickly from the counter. She seated us in a booth, tucked away from the front door.

On the way in, we noticed bagged coffees and tumblers for sale.
It’s a cozy little cafe, with an espresso machine and kitchen to the left of the restaurant.

My husband is the one with a good eye. When he was cruising the menu, he noticed that they served a chocolate chip muffin.
He remembered how much I said I loved those back in college, so my mind was set!

Our server was the cafe owner, and she was friendly and took the time to discuss the menu with us. We appreciated her attentiveness. She walked us through the menu.

When she served my chocolate chip muffin, I was over the moon. Not only did it look the way I had hoped, it was warmed through and through! Melted chocolate chip goodness, here I come.

My husband’s brownie also boasted chocolate chips. It did not disappoint in that category. This brownie had a dense, rich texture, almost like a flourless cake.

As for our beverages, a large home brewed sweet tea was my husband’s pick. How refreshing it was! Not to overpower the chocolate muffin, I opted for a vanilla latte.

It was a smooth, creamy latte and perfect for an afternoon inside.

We enjoyed our trip to Coal Mine Coffee & Sweets! We’d like to go back and try something from the breakfast or lunch menu.

We know we’ll get a great parking spot!

Parking: Parking spots are labeled right out front of the shop. There are 4 or 5 of those. I didn't check, but I bet there is some overflow parking, since there are so many cute shops there.”
