“Amazing food and unbeatable service. Susan took care of us from the start, answering questions and just overall being a pleasant server. She truly made us feel at home, and her charismatic energy did not go unnoticed. Items are clearly labeled gluten free and the staff was very knowledgeable regarding allergy questions. We went for an early lunch on a Saturday and had no problem getting a table. Service was incredibly fast and the food was fresh and hot. Their lunch menu had some great deals on it, and the overall prices were reasonable for the quality. My only complaint is that the soda is from cans, but our server checked in multiple times offering refills, so it wasn't horrible!“

“Our party of four met during happy hour on a Tuesday evening, so the restaurant was quiet. Very reasonable happy hour prices. The charcuterie plate was outstanding! We moved to a table at 6:00 for a delicious meal. The service, food presentation and overall ambiance was excellent! We'll definitely go again.“

“We were looking for a place that serves fish because of a Friday during Lent. And we were very happy. Portions were HUGE and the flavor matched. Fish sandwich was more like a platter size and the fish and chips was way more that could be eaten. Service was great and the atmosphere was as to be expected.......a diner during afternoon lunch. All in all a good meal and experience. Worth a visit if you're in the area.“

“We had a table of 10 with some seating issues at first but were quickly accommodated by the manager. Our server Sarah P. was AMAZING and handled our large party professionally and patiently. She has such a friendly personality. The food was very delicious. We had burgers, chuckawalla chicken, grilled chicken, steak and mahi mahi across the table. The devils pass dip, chicken wings, bruschetta and truffle fries were a great start to our dinner. The chocolate decadence is a MUST dessert. It just melts in your mouth. “This was my first time trying this place. It was late maybe around 11:30 pm. I was greeted with smiling faces and a warm welcome. The atmosphere was relaxing and clean. The presentation of the food was beautiful. The amount of food you received was plentiful. It's definitely worth the money. The steak rolls with this cheese dip , that massive Cobb salad was 10 out of 10. I was told that the wings were very delicious. I will try them on my next visit. I will be back !! “River City Diner is the real deal! The staff is friendly and helpful, the vibe is 100% diner, the food is great, and they have a full bar. Memorabilia is everywhere, there are TVs to provide some entertainment, and the staff is top notch. I looked at this place from the outside for years, with no desire to go in. I went for the first time last year, and now I'm mad I didn't go in sooner! Don't be like me!Kid-friendliness: Great spot to take kids! TVs, memorabilia, good kid food.“

“We love Q Barbecue! We probably eat in or get it to go once per week. Unlike some food, it heats up well. The staff is always friendly. There are usually sports on the TV. I appreciate that they serve Dr. Pepper. The hush puppies are delicious. I only wish their butter was not cold and small.“

“Never been before but this place blew me away. The bar choices were great. I had a Bourbon Bramble. I am not a big drinker.It was fantastic! For dinner I had the Shrimp Alfredo. Fantastic! French onion soup. My lady had the Harvey Salad. It was also perfect.This is my new favorite restaurant ! And I don’t even live or work in Richmond. I live in the DC area but I want to move here now!“

The sandwich was generous with tomato sauce and cheese. I order a side of fries since the sandwich did not include a side. The fires were hot out the fryer.“

“We ordered takeout from Texas Roadhouse last week. The ribs we received were burnt pretty badly. I’m not usually the type to complain, but these were inedible. I called the store and spoke with Logan, one of the managers. He was extremely apologetic about the situation and said he could have a fresh slab of ribs done for us within a few minutes. When we got there to pick it up, Logan made it a point to come talk with us, apologize again, and ensure the food looked good. He also included a few extra sides and some more bread. We were both so impressed with how professional and attentive he was. This location has our business for life now!“

“Had the pleasure of eating here on 4/21 for brunch. Parking was good. We had a 15 minute wait. Very nice atmosphere. They also have a really nice outdoor area. Our server Sophie was very nice and attentive. We ordered the donuts which were recommended and they were hot and delicious. I had the breakfast burger and my hubby had the B.E.L.T and both were really good. Prices were good too for the portion. We paid $42 for the both of us before tip. We will definitely return.“

“What can i say. It's a bar. I'll be honest, the bars in that area may just not be for me tbh. The music was literally SO LOUD, I couldn't hear the person I was with that was literally yelling at me. When I went to order a drink, there was a long wait, and not that they were busy, but the staff at 2 bars inside the establishment must have decided I was invisible, after returning to the side where the dj was to try again to order a drink, another long wait for no reason, and when I was served, it was like I was wasting their time. And to make it even worse, I'm not sure if the beer was skunked or I literally just had a bad taste in my mouth from the whole experience. I'm not one to make complaints on businesses, but I most definitely will never return. Best of luck folks.“

“It's no secret that Southbound has great food. Everyone in Bon Air and beyond knows. It's Bon Air's treasure. But, you may be asking yourself, is it worth the price? I don't like to spend a lot of $$ on going out to eat, so I was reluctant, but a couple of things stood out to me. 1) the atmosphere. It feels like a cozy cafe in Europe in there. I could hang out for HOURS 2) the food really does live up to the price but BONUS 3) the owner of the restaurant is a GOOD PERSON and that means a lot to me. He is a hard-working family man right here in our community. We all know the restaurant business is NOT EASY and so I'm happy and proud to support a non-chain who does this because it's his passion.“
