“It is rare that I can go to an ice cream shop with my nut allergy and feel safe. Thank you to the staff who took my allergy seriously. They have all ice cream with nuts in a separate area, used clean scoops, and made sure to scoop the ice cream from an untouched area (removed the top layer and scooped from further in the tub that was untouched). We will definitely be back!“

“Rich and Simply Elegant catered our most delightful and delicious wedding on a beautiful but chilly November 6. We held it outside with all COVID precautions and the Simply Elegant staff wore masks and gloves. I highly recommend the mini beef wellingtons and the other appetizers we ordered. We also had a delicious buffet which included ham biscuits, a favourite of our family! Rich, Marie and Maria were so professional; and they left our house and yard absolutely immaculate. I should also note that I was planning at the last minute and Rich was unflappable! He put together a menu quickly, called me back immediately to answer my questions, made some perfect suggestions, and arrived exactly when he said he would! In addition, he arranged for excellent weather! I am pleased to provide this 10 out of 10 recommendation!“

“I recently tried Casero Creations delivery service and was blown away by their Salteñas. They are probably the best I've had in the entire DMV area. The dough was made just the right way, and the filling was very well made and tasted delicious. The hot sauce they included was made in-house and was also great, although it may be a bit too spicy for some people. The delivery was on time and overall the service was good, although the communication could be improved. I highly recommend ordering ahead, as in days, since they are made to fill orders usually, may not be available the day you call. All in all, Casero Creations is definitely worth trying for their amazing Salteñas and great service.“

“If you aren't catering with Blue Zucchini, then you should start now! We found Blue Zucchini online and every colleague of mine asked where the food came from. Food was amazing - absolutely delicious. The vegan & vegetarian sandwiches were as delicious, if not more, than the meat! Delivery was so on time and they were so helpful. The owner, Yvonne, is incredibly responsive and so kind and amazing. If we had more people in attendance there wouldn't have been ANY leftovers. We will DEFINITELY use Blue Zucchini in the future.“

“Kortni and Ronnie were amazing to work with we were on a crunch deadline three months to plan a wedding under $10,000 total. they made it work did not try to sell me on things I did not need and even let us into see the venue on New Year's Eve because I was freaking out I wouldn't find a venue . they really did accommodate us on anything they could help us do including letting us in a day early to set up. They cooked everything in house they literally grilled it outside the menu options were very limited but because of that it was very easy to choose what we want to and the food was delicious. It made it very easy to just pick and choose what you wanted. Make sure you get the grilled chicken. they already had half of the decor there I had bought a lot of things to bring but it was already decorated. I think the guests really enjoyed the lodge because it's not just another plain sterile wedding venue, it was warm it was cozy. we definitely got our moneys worth and if I had any more sisters getting married I would definitely recommend this place. Bottom line is they made it really easy if you have an event a wedding renunion or something where you actually don't want to do the work, you just pick out the menu tell them what color do you want They will decorate it for you and you're done it was really simple they took all the stress out of it for me and I could not be more thankful thank you ladies!“

They also do catering events where we had Chicken Keema Biryani, Goat dum biryani, and chicken lollipops. For vegetarians, they even had Jackfruit Biryani, Paneer Biryani. The warmth and hospitality of the owner and his personal engagement with guests reflects a commitment to excellence that is truly commendable. “Just finished breakfast here with my daughter, and boy, were we impressed! The place is easily located on a corner, with a spacious interior and high ceilings outfitted with noise buffering panels. We found seating right away and perused the lengthy menu. Alex, our server, took great care of us and answered all our questions about the menu. They offer the regular breakfast favorites you'd want, like pancakes, French toast, omelets, plus lunch favorites as well. There are some good options for gluten-free and vegetarian diets. We ordered the breakfast bowl with eggs, sausage, potatoes, and sausage gravy. The potatoes were so flavorful and not greasy at all-- our server told us they make them in the air fryer, so they are well cooked but not at all oily. The sausage gravy was some of the best we've had. My BLT with avocado was toasty without being greasy, and the bacon was thick and crispy. The bowl of fruit was ripe and delicious. We are definitely coming back.“

“The vegetarian options are lacking. I wish they had a “build your own” sandwich option online so I could make a veggie sandwich.Edit: while the vegetarian options are not to my family’s needs, they do have a few offerings that would appeal to some. Bumping my rating up to 4 stars!“
