“Our daughter always goes and raves about how it is, we went for supper and she is right, great service even when busy with take out orders. Food is awesome and large portions as well. I am guessing the owner made sure we were all good when food was ready. Definitely going back!“
“I’ve been going here for awhile and love the sushi. Tonight was different, we got to the restaurant at 8:58, they close at 10. The server was quick to rush us and told us the kitchen closed at 9:30 so we needed to order. I could tell the server was agitated with us for coming in, but also working in the restaurant industry this would be a no-go. We don’t close anything down until the time we say we’re closed and never rush a guest telling them the kitchen closes 30 minutes before they are suppose to close. Really disappointed in the service because I love the sushi here.“
“Lovely people, amazing food! Small variety of beverages, but very big portions! The drinks aren’t why you come to a ramen shop lol Located in the Market building which is so so regarding atmosphere but very convenient while downtown. Best little ramen shop in “
“Teppan is great. Food is very tasty and portion is good. Food is very affordable. I recommend the spring rolls, that sauce they come with is delicious. Also staff was always chill but now they are getting even nicer so that’s cool. Yum Yum sauce is the real star here but it’s extra for more than the two you already get when you order. (Two is enough for me though but my friends get one extra it’s a couple cents?)“
“Great Thursday specials! I come from a state with some of the best sushi in the world, this was pretty dang good sushi. It's a good price all the time, but Thursdays are even better. The fish is fresh, the flavors are good, and nothing feels plain or bland, the service is great also. They have a side of the restaurant that is just sushi and a side for Teppanyaki. Both are great and if you want, you can also order sushi rolls on the Teppanyaki side.“
“Placed an order for a friend and myself on 1-30-24. My food was good, but my friend got the Spicy Chicken Lo-Mein.I am not sure if the chef made a mistake, or just hated his boss/job but I am pretty sure it clocked in at least around 1.6 million scoville. My friend took three bites and nearly died.Myself, I am used to eating very hot stuff so I had to finish it.On a side note, that sinus infection I think I was coming down with, it cleared that up instantly.“
“I've often traveled down Franklin Road and seen the sign of Kabuki Japanese Steak House and thought nothing of it, but little did I imagine that taking the Road up the hill to where it led would lead me to an amazing restaurant building and an extraordinary dining experience! After consulting with a Yelp Elite friend of mine about excellent Japanese Restaurants in the area, I decided to go with a friend and try this one out. As we drove up the hill leading to the restaurant, we first passed by a digital sign under a rooftop with the words: "Happy Birthday GIP." I thought to myself: What a wonderful and unique idea to greet guests who are having a special occasion like this. Then when we reached the top of the hill and saw the restaurant building structure; It was amazing! It looked like a combination of a mansion and a castle. Needless to say, we were very impressed with it. In front of the building it had a beautiful Japanese Mapple tree. My friend searched it on the Google cellphone, and that's how we found what kind of a tree it was. The entrance was an impressive large wooden doors with the name of the restaurant written in Japanese on a sign above the doors. Kabuki. My friend looked it up and it meant: "A traditional style of Japanese theater," As we entered the restaurant, it had a very impressive and amazing appearance with several glass exhibition cases full of Japanese momento items. There was also an area outside with a Japanese Garden and a small pond full of koi fishes. Next to it was the entrance to the bar. I went in to take a look and a photograph and someone who I think was the manager said hello and gave me a warm welcome. Then I went with my friend to the Host station and our Host/Waiter also gave us a warm welcome and took us to our table which already had some other people around it. In the middle of the table was a cooking platform surrounded by a counter table area where everyone ate. Then our Host/Waiter stood behind the table and took our order. This is the first photo I posted when checking in. From the menu he had given us after we sat down, I ordered the Filet Mignon and Scallops Hibachi, Filet cooked medium rare, and my friend ordered the Double Dragon Sushi Combination. It all came with a Japanese soup and salad and shrimp appetizer. Then the cook arrived and performed an expectacular show unloading the raw food on the cooking platform, playing with the cooking utensils, cooking the food, and finally, serving the food. We found out later that he was given a layout design chart where each of us was seated and what we had ordered. Now all that I can say is the quality of the food was top of the line, and it was cooked perfectly with Japanese butter and other ingredients that made it taste so good. It also came with Fried rice and the shrimp appetizer that was thrown in with our main meal. The amount for food we got was also plentiful. What an amazing dining experience! It all tasted so good that I didn't leave, not even a rice on the plate. We then paid for our bill, and our Host/Waiter gave us a warm thanks and goodbye. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to have an extraordinary dining experience like never before. I already have placed it on the top of my list of most favorite restaurants.“

“The experience used to be just that— an experience. Dining in used to include a elegant table with attentive service. Since Covid came, you order and pay at the cash register and eat out of carry-out containers at the table. The food is still good but there is no elegance to this place anymore. Such a disappointment!“
“The server remembered me from Ike’s old location and made sure my food was vegan. Very tasty food and laid-back atmosphere. I recommend edamame to start, a vegan version of Yakisoba, and vegan mochi.Vegetarian options: I’m vegan, and I order the yakisoba with tofu. The staff is very helpful and accomodating. They also have several flavors of vegan mochi that are delicious. .Dietary restrictions: Will accommodate vegans and vegetarians.“
