“We dined at The Porch over the weekend. Truthfully I would only give 3.5 stars. Don’t get me wrong, the food was delicious and the service was very good. However, the restaurant was VERY warm and we did not like that we had to swat away flies the entire time we ate. Plus we were celebrating my sons birthday who is dairy free, and they didn’t have any dairy free desserts, so we couldn’t sing happy birthday to him.“

“Absolutely fantastic food, the rolls and sushi cuts are very fresh and don’t go overboard with mayonnaise and other sauces. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful without people running around everywhere. The staff is attentive without being intrusive to the dining experience. Truly a hidden gem.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp leading up the sidewalk and the doors are floor-level.“

“STOP . Stop searching and go here. I've traveled the coastal US, major citie, 7 yrs in the pacific. There is no better sushi in Va, or surrounding states. I live 2.5hrs away and make monthly trips and I don't even like going out for gas. Try the eel. Tell Mr Lee what you like and let him do his thing. You won't regret it and it's not expensive.“

“My favorite all you can eat sushi place. Love the dinner menu because it has one roll specifically that I love, Crystal roll. My go-to's are rock 'n roll, crystal, and volcano. They check on you frequently as you can order multiple rolls at once.“

“I know what I like. Warm rice is a nice touch on a fresh sushi roll. Crispy to perfection tempura ? fried shrimp ?. Loved the Raptor roll, did not expect it to be 17$ but I guess that’s an intelligent business decision to leave prices off the menu. The house salad (sauce) was lacking flavor profile other than salt and mayo, a combination of ginger sesame, and carrot puree would make the salad ? incredible. Overall great dining experience and delicious sushi roll!“

“I started going to Osaka at ODU. Once I moved out this way, I switched to this location. The food and service is great both here and at ODU. They were a bit behind on my pickup order today and the waitress kept apologizing and asking if I wanted anything extra. I assured her it was completely fine, but I ended up with extra goodies in my bag anyway. The rolls here are much thicker compared to any other place I've been, so it's always worth the trip!“

“I enjoyed the great tasting food selection and the Manga vibe. The service was prompt and friendly. The location as small, but had sufficient seating at the time of my visit. We had ramen, a roll, gyoza, tea, and deserts. Everything was super-awesome! I would definately recommend Misako Asian Cuisine to anyone looking for a deliciously excellent adventure.“

“I had an amazing server & I wish I took his name down to give him the proper recognition he deserves! However, I ordered the calamari & Oyster Rock: both 9/10! This place is more known for its sushi, however I am not a huge sushi fan so no review on the sushi from me! I didn't expect the restaurant to be attached to a hotel, however, its still a nicely arranged restaurant with private rooms & a nice sized bar! Some areas have seating that allows you to watch the waves and I thought that was a great touch. Overall: 8/10 for me, I'd go back for sure.“

“Great sushi! We ordered the miso soup, salmon avocado roll, spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll, chefs special and the Great Neck. All of them were delicious and fresh. We called and ordered it to-go and it was ready within 25 minutes. We will definitely be back!“

“I'm on a work trip and I was looking for a quick spot to grab a late lunch. Kyushu had decent ratings and was close to my hotel so I gave it a shot. The outside isn't appealing but it fits in with the rest of the neighborhood. It's the end unit of a strip center with a clothing shop and a barber. I got there a little after 2PM and there were at least 4 couples seated which surprised me for a Wednesday afternoon. I wasn't in the mood for sushi so I got the salmon teriyaki bento box. It was probably a 5-6 oz portion of salmon. It came with miso soup, a salad with ginger dressing, a fried spring roll and a California roll. Nothing really stood out to me but I ate everything so there's that. I'm not sure when I'll be back in Norfolk. I won't make it a point to go back but if I find myself in similar circumstances it could be an option.“

“Second time ordering, first time dining in. After a terrible commute I am enjoying the quiet and relaxing ambiance, a perfect cup of tea and the best sushi in Virginia Beach. Tonight they have Toro and uni, two favorites I rarely get to enjoy. Everything is made with care including the complimentary miso soup. This town is full of average sushi joints. I highly recommend you make the trip. You won't be disappointed!“

“We had lunch there to celebrate an anniversary of mine. I try to go to Inaka at least once a week. The food is delicious, fresh, fast, and always served with a smile. I feel like I am a member of their family because they always welcome me with open…chopsticks! On this day I had spicy tuna roll and salmon avocado (added cucumber) roll…so tasty! They also let us try a new salad dressing they are creating. It is similar to the dressing they usually serve but not as sweet and with a taste of citrus. I hope they put that on the menu. It was so delicious!“

“Rolls are great . To be honest they make larger size rolls . I can never finish just one at times . My favorites are the Temptation and The Mexican. I got two this trip as I was hungry . The owner is nice but very short at times . I do feel rushed eating here also but it's worth the trouble .“

“Staring off, this is not authentic Japanese food, it is a Chinese owned restaurant. The sushi is flat and big instead of small and think like I like it. It was hard putting it all in one bite. Rolls weren’t that tightly rolled so some would fall apart. Miso soup tasted like any miso soup. It took 17 minutes for just two rolls. The spicy girl wasn’t spicy and was flavorless, the super spider was good. They make sushi okay, wait time is okay, good lunch spot nothing specialFried banana was good ☺️“

“I have only visited Blue Fin four times but each meal has been excellent. They have very creative presentations, great flavors and friendly staff. I highly recommend Blue Fin for great sushi. I don’t recommend you go higher than a 7 on the 911 roll.“

“Stopped in for dinner at Sakura and was quickly seated at a table near the window with a great view. The restaurant was welcoming, well decorated and had a great ambiance. The server welcomed me with a smile and a water and my appetizer came out in no time at all! I ordered a cucumber salad && edamame - both were delicious. For my main course I opted for two rolls- volcano and shrimp tempura. They were prepared perfectly. I highly suggest stopping in for sushi- they have a wide variety of rolls and sashimi. I love coming here when I don't have a lot of time; the service is always quick and the food is always top tier.“
