“BEST PIZZA SINCE ITALY! On our first time visit to Burlington, we stumbled on Pizzeria Verita. It was fabulous! Literally our tastiest pizza since we’ve been in Italy. We didn’t have reservations so sat at the bar. Fun vibe and great service. You can also watch the crew make the pizzas in a giant wood fired oven. Very entertaining.”

“We have a friend that is seriously ill and we wanted a very special meal for he and his wife prepared and delivered to their home. The manager and staff arrived at work early to make it happen and would not accept a fee for delivery. They went beyond their duties and provided a marvelous meal for our friends. What beautiful hearts and souls they have. We thank you all so very much for your great meals and service.”

“The food was good, with a big variation. I loved the clams, but the chocolate mousse was disappointing, mostly whipped cream. The fish was cooked really well, but the sides and beans appetizer were just fine. The non-alcoholic negroni was excellent.

The main waitress was very attentive and friendly; the rest of the staff was unprofessional, multiple times they dropped plates on the table and walked away without a comment.

The atmosphere is nice, but nothing special, and it gets pretty loud.”

Her pastries and baked goods are exceptional. Sooooooo yummy! A few months ago, Shelley started offering Saturday brunch at the bakery: “bring friends and meet new people.” I’ve been curious about the brunch since its inception, so when Shelley announced a brunch in late September, I decided I’d celebrate my 76th birthday at Belleville. I was lucky enough to snag all ten reservations. I, my spouse, and eight of my very good friends enjoyed a glorious brunch at Belleville Bakery. We loved every bite of every dish on the brunch menu—not one flaw. Shelley is a superb chef and baker. She’s gracious and welcoming. We felt comfortable and at home. Thank you, Shelley, for one of the best birthday celebrations EVER! My birthday cake was beautiful. We had a wonderful morning. Thanks so much, Shelley and staff, for a memorable meal and morning. You’re the BEST!”

Love the yellow curry dish, the stir fried chicken with cashews and pad thai are sooo good. And the spring rolls and crab ragoon are just lightly fried. Deelish. Husband wife team are super nice. New favorite place for take out.”

“We have been coming here since 1986 when it was a tiny spot that let us teenagers sit and drink coffee all day. They are one of Burlington’s oldest and most loved restaurants, known for their early bird Bistro dinner that serves French classics like Beef Bourgignon, Steak Frites and even gluten free Cavatappi Carbonara. Tonight it was snowing hard and the restaurant was still full and the service was terrific. It’s our go-to place for the last 35 years and I’m grateful they are still around.”

This wasn't just some whoopsie daisy I ate a regular chocolate chip cookie by mistake after forgetting what regular cookies taste like. Although they were freshly baked (still warm), and served with vanilla ice cream. Which is probably the best way to serve cookies in general. 10/10 will be back”
