“So more like four and a half. When I first came to this place maybe ten years ago was incredible still great but maybe a tad less salt. The stuffed mushrooms so goooooooood the pesto clams great specials not so special but the pasta and paella fantastic just salty but not too much to ruin flavor. Get reservations you need them and I will be back. Everytime I come this is a must go to place“

Old Alcohol Plant Inn New American • $$
310 Hadlock Bay Rd, Port Hadlock-Irondale - 9.29 miles

“I just spent 3 days there with wife. We enjoyed the stay and were very comfortable there. I love the atmosphere of the place.Rooms: Decor is a little dated, but has a unique style that lends itself to an artsy, retro sort of look that I liked. It is clean and kept up. Bathrooms are in good shape.Nearby activities: Location is good for a lot of beautiful outdoor scenary (Fort Flagler, Port Ludlow, kayaking, other islands, scenic bays) and close to Port Townsend for cultural visits. I found the people in Port Hadlock/Port Townsend area to be extremely friendly!!Food & drinks: Spirits Cafe in the hotel has excellent food and the cook has amazing talent!“

“Food is excellent. They were very very busy and surprisingly we got in and got a table pretty quickly. We have visited this place a few times in the past and never got in because the hours posted don't match the hours that they are actually open. I'm going to assume that they run out of food because they are very popular with the locals and so sometimes they have to close early. Every single thing that we ate was unbelievably great. I thought that they did a really good job handling the deluge of customers in the morning. So I would say go early and don't believe the hours but definitely do come and eat. Dietary restrictions were also accommodated very elegantly.“
