“I haven’t been to this spot before, always been curious about it when I go to the pupusa place down the street. Today Salvadorean was closed so I tried and here and it did not disappoint!! Fast service and food. The arepa I had was so hot, fresh, and delicious. Super glad I came here I can also imagine coming here to fuel up before a night out, the music and some drinks would make this place a great night for a girls night out. Definitely coming back!! Thank you!”

“An authentic little piece of Oaxaca in Wenatchee!

We recently visited Fonda Oaxaqueña in East Wenatchee and were delighted with the quality and authenticity of their Mexican food. I ordered the chicken with Oaxacan mole, and it was a delicious experience. The dish came with half a chicken topped with a rich, authentic mole that evoked the traditional flavors of Oaxaca. The accompanying rice was just as authentic, with a flavor rarely found in Mexican restaurants in the United States, and the beans were perfectly prepared. The large, warm, soft tortillas complemented the dish perfectly.

For his part, Fernando ordered the meat fajitas, and was very satisfied with the quality and preparation. The meat was tender and well seasoned, accompanied by a complete side dish that included salad, rice, beans, cream and guacamole. Everything was well presented and in generous portions.

We found the price reasonable considering the quality of the dishes and the exceptional service. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more pleasant. In addition, the atmosphere of the place is charming, with details such as the hand-painted wooden Mexican chairs that provide an authentic and cozy touch.

Definitely, when we return to Wenatchee, Fonda Oaxaqueña will be a mandatory stop to enjoy this excellent food again.”

“I love, LOVE this restaurant and some of their servers. I like to sit in the bar from time to time on a busy night and it’s always the best!! I had amazing service last night in the bar

But one thing I noticed is that this one bartender that happens to be there a lot on the weekend, I think her name is Gali(Galy)?? Eats behind the bar and to me, to go from eating to touching glasses is really gross :(. What if it’s a situation where someone has celiacs and she hands them a glass after eating a breadstick and they have a reaction? It seems super unsanitary!! This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this either and I really hope management addresses it, because I don’t think this is professional to do behind the bar, where you mix drinks, etc.

I will not be lowering my score, because I come infrequently and always receive good service, either on the floor, the bar, or through TOGO. I just hope this one thing is addressed!! Other than that..I love you OG!!”

“Great value alot of food for the dollar. Always good service. You won't go hungry here. Had the Big Foot Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. Was unable to finish all my hashbrowns. Give them a try. A friend had an Omlet that looked great too. Enjoy.”

“There food is really good. They could be a little friendlier but these days I guess that's a high expectation. The atmosphere could be spruced up. But, most importantly, they have good food and decent portions.

Parking: Parking is tight. I've never had a problem getting a spot, but it's partially on an incline.”

“Half way through i thought man, i should have taken a picture before I started. The flavor is so good. We got the quesadilla with carne asada and everything on them, the burrito plate and four carne asada tacos. Delicious. The sautéed sweet white onions give you the yummy fajita flavor. I could eat them plain. Also the mango juice in a can is delicious and I have seen it anywhere else. The location itself has seen better days but for a grab and go street taco - we will definitely be back!”

“Delicious food at a reasonable price. The salmon teriyaki was incredible. Lots of dishes to mix and match for sharing (sushi, dim sum). You can place an order and come back if you are in a hurry.

Vegetarian options: The Kyoto platter is a nice vegetarian option.”

“We used to live in Wenatchee and ate at the Country Inn for years. Eat almost everyday during the pandemic. Sent lots of customers to them during that time also from local motel. Moved, came in and brought my service dog in with us. The new manager was not friendly at all. We had our papers for her. I understand the health department department rules They put us in a booth that the seat was all ripped up. She is my way of being able to go into places. To put her on the floor doesn’t work. She has been trained to lay on the booth next to me doesn’t put her head on the table or other bad habits. Weighs 5 #’s and a small Pomeranian 6 yr old. Sorry that this didn’t work for us we left. We’ll never eat there again. Lost a long time customer and anyone else we tell how the manager used to be so friendly and now couldn’t even smile Or welcome a out of state guest.”
