“Cute little stop for coffee and wonderful sandwiches! Everything is always fresh and made to order so have patience. Call in your order ahead if needed. Garden turkey on rye is my go to! So yummy! Staff is so friendly. Great experience.”
“We found this place quite by accident And found it to be the perfect little gem that we didn’t know about. The food is amazing. The young lady recommended a torta, and it was amazing and I highly recommend visiting this little restaurant.”
“Best chicken fried steak I've had in years. The county gravy is also the best I've had in years. Seriously they have great food and the service is great.”
“I came in earlier this week and had wonderful experience. The pizza was the best I had in a long time! And I’ve been to a lot of pizza places. I recommend the Sammy’s combo. The employees were also enthusiastic especially Sean. Good job Sammy’s!”
“I go here often, and have been for some years. Good portions, and really consistently well prepared. One of the better teriyaki joints I've lived near for sure.”
“Kind thoughtful nice morning gals who care!!!!!!! Yummy coffee and great service. They never get annoyed at all the different coffee requests like some coffee stands do. And they rarely ever mess up.”
“Hey, this dude work hard. Can never remember a name but he and his delivery driver were the only ones working and he was able to keep a good demeanor. That's not easy when you're the only one working. Super friendly too, couldnt not give a good review. Keep up the good work. Oh, and great pizza too and flavor ”
“I was so impressed with their veggie tacos it was incredibly delicious. And I'm not a vegetarian, but I wanted to try and do some veggies this week. So pleasantly please.”
“Fun place to eat, the food was what you would expect of a chick-fil-A. However, the service was really nice and understanding. I got a lemonade that was 80% pulp, and when I asked to change drinks, they were happy to help. Always looks clean and tidy. Also, the big windows to the college create an open and welcoming area to eat.”
“The place for bagels in Tacoma! We come to pick up 2 bagel sands each time we visit from Honolulu! Bagels are well made, fillings are generous and flavors are on spot. Only issue? There's always a line so go early on a weekday. Line's part of the charm I guess and the place has tons of personality!Parking: Go early for parking and no line.”
“Great tapas. Loved the anchovies, hard to find around here. Hoped to see a Spanish Vermouth somewhere. Paella was out of stock, looking forward to having that next time. Glad you’re here!!! Loved the food, atmosphere and prices. Michelle was great and had good recommendations.”
“I was blown away at how amazing everything was. The service was excellent and the even gave us a special card for our anniversary. The food was next level. Perfectly balanced and unique flavors. I loved the dessert too. I’d say try the Brussel sprouts and the lemon posset but honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here.”
“I tell you what I tried Buddys this past weekend and I was blown away.the food tasted so good. I ate the waffle I had with no syrup! ( i always have syrup).and don't get me started on the perfectly fried and seasoned chicken tenders this man knows what he's doing.I'm very picky about food and new places being that I work in the catering industry but I'd give the food and service a 10 out of 10. I'm patiently waiting for buddys dine in to open!”
“The very finest Gelato in the land. Fareed & Jennifer have trained for their craft in Italy, and it shows in their products. Just try their new moctails. So refreshing! Use your GPS and find this cute little Cafe in downtown near Wright Park. You won’t be disappointed.”
“Food, service and atmosphere were absolutely phenomenal. Beautiful ambiance & service as if you’re family & presented with exceptionally creative and delicious food. You get what you pay for and every bite/sip was divine. Highly recommend!!”
“Kristen makes a great Sauzerac. Yasss ! Sam took wonderful care of us outside, and read us like a book as to what we wanted when we wanted it. Awesome staff ! Food is top notch.”
“Stopped on my way back from an early morning trip to Vashon, very convenient place in the heart of Old Town Tacoma and just up the street from Ruston Way, extremely comfortable environment with a quick and attentive staff. Highly recommend.”
“There are a number of good choices for fish and other seafood on the Tacoma waterfront, and Duke's may be the best, if you are looking for good water views, an informal atmosphere and friendly, well-informed service. It's a bit pricey, but no more than its competition, and the quality of the food is consistently high. And there is a range of prices. The cod is first-rate -- it doesn't have to be salmon or halibut. Note that there are very limited options for vegetarians and vegans. Also note that these folks do a very nice business, even on Mondays. The good news is that, unlike some of their competition, they take reservations for small parties. Reservations are strongly recommended.”
“Very fast service once seated, popular place during lunch, reasonable prices for serving size of pho, highly recommended. Definitely a repeat, servers were very polite and attentive. Had 7a medium, very delicious reminded me of Vietnam.”
“My wife and I have visited some of the world’s best steakhouses, SanFrancisco, Vegas, Tokyo, Paris; Cuervo Bravo surpassed every one of them! Truly the best steak I’ve ever had; Tacoma now has the world’s best steakhouse.”
“Absolutely the cutest lil coffee shop. The barista was so sweet and helpful. We need more people like her. The sweet saying on the lids of the coffee was much needed and loved today.Parking: It was easy to park mid day on a Saturday.”
“Such a great find, as the food here really hits the spot. The taco's pack a lot of flavor and the hot sauce lives by its name. The only drawback is parking, but that's 6th Ave.”
“Awesome. Great selection of vegan/gf/non-restrictive variety.. I came a little late so they were def selling out.. I enjoyed my selections regardless, and look forward to going in at opening so that I have first dibs ;)Reminder: this place only takes cash and you will want to bring in enough for the big one - promise ”
“Love this spot. Great food and great menu. Service was outstanding. A little small, but you won't feel like it's crowded. The service and owner are top notch. Now if they would just put some grilled octopus on the menu...?”
“Great new spot in town the spicy pork box was really good and a big portion definitely a two meal dish. The popcorn chicken was also good the garlic soy is legit. If you like kfc give this place a try.”
“Very delicious! I had the butter chicken momo, and jhol chicken momo. Both were so good, and different, I couldn't decide which ones I liked more! I bought both so I could have leftovers for lunch today, and I let the ones I got with the jhol sit in the soup overnight, and man they were incredible! I love this food! I didn't take a picture because there are already pictures of them online.”
“I cannot say enough or what would even amount to the equivalency of what Tibbitts deserves. First the setting. It can and will be whatever you need it to be. Intimate, family, fun. There is so much about the owner and others who have visited on the walls. Old kitchen accessories, pictures and a couple of posters that show their dedication to a certain series Im sure we all binge watched. A very creative space that gives you an insight on the roots attached to Tibbitts, you can smile and nod at the picture of Shawns mom hanging high so she can see her sons dream in action. You can read about Shawns amazing story online on how his dream came true. What an inspiration of love and dedication. I encourage you all to go read it. So when you see the way this man greets his guests you will know a bit of his heart. He definitely enjoys what he does. Art from a local school is beautiful and an added sweet touch. It's like getting an inside peek into someone's life and before you meet them you just admire the living example that they are, living their best life.Second the Crew. With the few staff members they have, they pull it off. Very professional but personable, everyone was a blessing to encounter. My hat goes off to the crew. It makes for a nice at home feel with the limited seating. I see why reservations are required and why Tibbitts is only open on the weekends. Which brings us to the food. The menu is small but it packs a punch with variety and flavor. The stainless steel mugs keep your coffee hot the ENTIRE time. Good portions. Phenomenal flavor. Again, the kitchen crew is legit!!! Everything perfect to the point of heavenly blissfulness. I can say with all that is magical here you will want to come back. P.S. Don't forget to water the plants Shawn. ;)~Sarah from t-townParking: Parking was not an issue. I drive a large truck and I was able to park in the back of the lot no problem. There were plenty of open parking spaces.”
“Shockingly good. I was legitimately surprised by the quality, especially considering the reasonable prices. The coffee was actually good too! Easiest five star ever.Note that they do run out of biscuits at some point everyday. If they do, I'd suggest grabbing cheesecake at the least as it was also fantastic! Will absolutely go again!”
“While out cruising Commensment Bay on our boat with friends, they suggested with try out Indita Mia new location on Dock Street. We were NOT dissappointed. The food, service and atmosphere were amazing. We would highly recommend trying Indita Mia out.”
“I've been visiting this poke shop for the last few years and every single time I go there the food is so fresh and delicious. The toppings are amazing, and the combinations are endless. I highly recommend Poke Pop for anyone who is looking for a fresh, healthy, and quick meal. There are tables to sit at to eat your food, or you can easily take your food to go, which is what I usually do. They also have online ordering if you are interested in just grabbing your food on the go.”
