“There for Easter brunch. The food was very good, but the variety was disappointing. I was hoping for more pasta choices. I felt like we spent $60 each for breakfast, which I understand it’s brunch but where were the lunch items? Plus the all you can drink options (alcohol) are additional fees, which was misleading from the advertisement.Overall disappointing but the food and service was very good. Will try a normal dinner service next time and skip the buffet.”

“I am very picky when it comes to restaurants and food. The Tilted Rock exceeded my expectations! The wait time was adequate, I can’t remember how long we waited but it wasn’t long. The food was amazing! I had the Chicken Adobo chef’s kisses and a Pepsi. Me and my family will definitely be back!”

“Let me start by saying Fnu Alvian was an excellent server at Zesty. He stopped constantly to make sure my fiancé and I needed anything. The food over all was so delicious , just the wings weren’t what I was expecting. This is a great place for a date night, birthday celebration or family night! They also had a live band playing when I was there! Good place for a dance night. lol”

“If you’re on à la carte, everything is good and perfect. Interesting banchan everytime, 10/10. Portion size is big as well.But I won’t recommend their BBQ buffet, the quality is kinda off for me. They’re also selling lettuce on the side for an extra of $2 or $4 (can’t remember). But for that buffet price, it should be included.So their a la carte is good, but you should try korean buffets in federal way.”

“Yeah, it's super far if you're coming from Seattle, and it's pricy too. But if you're a lover of fried intestines and Korean bar vibes , I think Makchang Drama is totally worth the trip. Make a day of it. Hang out at Southcenter Mall with some friends, go to Round 1 arcade, travel down to Makchang Drama for guts and KBBQ, then find a noraebang (Korean karaoke) spot on your way back up. Drink a bunch of soju. (Not the driver.) Get merry.I love makchang (beef intestines) and gopchang (small intestines) for their chewy, fatty texture and super savory flavor! If you're not a fan of fatty or chewy meat products (like chicken skin, pork belly, tendon, offal, etc), you might not be a fan of this. But if you love guts (like me), you'll love these! They come out on a smoking hot grill so they're just a bit crisp on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside... mmm... I'm salivating just thinking of it. Cut through the oil with some somaek (soju + beer) and you're cooking! We ordered a couple of other dishes (like the boiled pork) and it came with free banchan (side dishes). I definitely would go again, and often -- if only it wasn't so far! It's all the way down in Lakewood, just past Tacoma. I'll just have to settle for only making a special trip once in a while.”

“This is one of the best places for some Korean fried chicken and great Korean food. The reg fried chicken is so good, it doesn’t even need sauce! The staff and owners are amazing and caring people. If you enjoy k pop videos playing in your booth as well, you’ll love this place even more. Worth every penny!”

“I've been here multiple times, and the food, beer, and service are always fantastic. Definitely try the armadillo eggs- they do not disappoint!There is a bar area towards the back (adults only) and a large restaurant side that is perfect for groups and families. Both sides offer the same menu.Staff are always friendly and available to answer any questions you may have.”

“Make a reservation, not a big place. Don’t bring more than 4 people, to be comfortable(2 people on each side of the booth). This is not your typical K BBQ spot. Not a ton of choices, just top 10. Also sides are limited. BUT very tasty. That’s why 4/5 stars . Service is good, because there is not a lot of choices. I would eat there again.”

“The staff was great, and worked hard all night. But if I can't say naughty words in a bar full of drunk adults having a great time then that's just not the place for me. Shaming me on mic during the song for singing one bad word during karaoke isn't really all that cool. It's pretty embarrassing. Especially when I wasn't warned beforehand. The context of the word wasn't directed at any one person, group of people or even had any sort of negative connotation. I could understand if the song was raunchy or inappropriate. It was actually an expression on how well the person singing the song could play guitar. We won't be back for karaoke.”

“Kyoto is a Japanese restaurant located on South Tacoma Way. This was my first time at this restaurant, and it was a pleasant time! When you walk through the glass doors, you walk over a little wooden bridge and wait to be seated by a host. There are booths scattered around, bar seating, and a private dining area. My sister and I were seated at a booth near the front. The ambiance was quite serene and calm. We needed a few minutes to think about what to order, especially since I was undecisive about what I wanted to try here. I ended up ordering the Sake Ju, while my sister ordered the Tempera Udon. Then, we shared the Super Dragon Roll. The Sake Ju had much more rice than salmon, which was a bit upsetting to me. I ordered it because I saw other pictures of people ordering it and it looked really appealing with how much salmon they got. I would not order that again, unless I decided to order sashimi on the side to eat with it. All in all, it was a good experience, and I would consider coming back again to try other items off the menu.”

“Love this little place ! New to the area, we were looking for a quiet little place to enjoy dinners together - Food is really good and the staff has been amazing , I think we've found it !!! Try the carousel appetizer plate - the taquitos in beef are DELICIOUS !!! (Haven't tried the chicken - next time maybe !!?)”

“We've been looking at this place the few times we came out to tacoma, but this time, we decided to finally try them. The restaurant is nice and simple. Not too big not too small. Service was awesome. You can do all you can eat or order off their menu. Now, the only disappointment was they're really expensive lunch time, all you can eat is $35ish a person, and dinner time is $45ish a person. The menu is a decent size, but even their menu is pricey. I understand why the prices are high. They do make their food fresh and cook to order, and yes, even the dumplings are made fresh. Also, lol if you're going to order off the menu, heads up postions are huge.Overall, the food was amazing. If you're willing to spend big money, then go for it. We're willing to come back here and just try something off the menu :)”
