“Met a friend coming off the ferry, first time here, the staff was friendly and attentive, the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was awesome, we liked then so much, we ordered another. We also ordered two entrees, fish 'n chips, and shrimp basket. Was a quiet place until Monday trivia night started about 6pm.“
“Food was real good, ate here last year after golf and it was great then too. Remember the fries being a little better last year (tastesd more garlic then) but was still good overall. Ordered Philly cheesesteak and clubhouse sandwich. $19.99 for each seemed a little much but they tasted great (shows $17 on website) Philly cheesesteak wasn’t very big. It’s hard to beat the venue, especially on a nice day. Overlooks #18 and tables aren’t on top of each other so good privacy. Not a bad seat outside and the inside is nice too.“
“I absolutely love the Wine Dinners. The level of service is exceptional. The way that Mr. Blair Anderson talks about the wine, brings in the wine growers and owners of these local wineries is a special gift. I will continue to keep going. Oh yeah the discount on the purchase of wines offered for order is bananas!!! Love Little Biston Bistro!“
“Got takeout to take back to my room. Staff was nice and pleasant to deal with. I got poutine which I was surprised at the amount of bacon and pork belly on it. Definitely worth the money. They were awesome enough to put the sauce on the side so it did not get soggy. The only downfall is going into the smoky casino to get it.“
“For my boyfriend’s birthday, I took him to get a Tomahawk steak at Flint Creek. We were both incredibly blown away by the quality of the food and the top tier service given to us by Nathan, our server. The tomahawk was sooo good, it had a delightful spice crust on the outside and was cooked to perfection. We also both swooned over the prosciutto & plum dish (absolutely god tier). Our table service was unmatched— Nathan made sure that we were taken care of every single step of the way and we left feeling full and satisfied. Thank you Nathan & the team at Flint Creek!!“
“Took my fiance here with my mother for my fiance's birthday. It also happened to be Easter ?. The staff was still operating at top notch although other places were straight up closed. Glad we walked it.We ordered the seared octopus which was according to my mother who is an octopus fanatic some of the best she's ever had ??..., the scallops which were my favorite (5⭐)... and the spicy steam clams which my fiance adored (delicious green curry base). Over all amazing experiences for grabbing some cocktails and a small bite with friends or family. Come show this place some love so it can stick around ?“
“My son took me out to celebrate my last day of chemo. We had the absolute BEST dinner. I definitely would put it in my top 5. My son and I agree, it was the best steak we ever had. We checked out the connected art studio/gallery bext door. Very good vibes here. One thing I will.menti9n though, is that the online menu doesn't necessarily match up.with what is offered. Our sides were different. We weren't disappointed at all. But if you are online, and hoping for a particular item, maybe call first to make sure. Highly recommend this place.“
“Awesome dive bar with cheap beer. We ordered apps (mozz sticks and nachos), which were amazing. Fun atmosphere with college football on the TVs. Also, they have pinball and a few arcade games. I will definitely be coming back to watch more UW games!“
“as this was my first time trying gumbo, I'm not sure I'm fully qualified to judge this, but I'll give it a shot anywaynormally, I don't like soups, because they're mostly liquidhowever, this was less of a soup and more of a dish with a ton of sauce - due to how much stuff is in hereI loved that this bowl was completely packed with solid ingredients - so each spoonful got you a variety of different thingsthe most important thing in a soup is getting the broth right - and I have to say they pretty much nailed itthe liquid has some spice to it - which very much pleasantly surprised me, and in addition, it has great depth of flavorI found it to be probably the best part of the bowlnone of the toppings are particularly noteworthy - they're all pretty solid additionsas mentioned earlier, the amount of meat in here was pretty fantastic.I noticed chicken and sausage as being especially present throughout, and both were pretty goodthe bread was decent - I thought it could've used more toasting/crispiness and more butter - as it became a bit too softwhen dipped in the gumbothe fries were also ok - i would've loved if they were seasoned with some sort of cajun seasoning - but the sauce was goodthe price wasn't too expensive, around 15 dollars, but the portion size wasn't huge either - so it's about a wash thereOverall, good flavor with a ton of different ingredients. 8/10“
“Wonderfully creative food that didn't feel overly pretentious and filled us up. The Staff was informative and friendly, taking times to explain and recommend dishes without being asked; If this was located downtown it would be twice the price and still worth it.“
“Food: we stopped by this quaint town of Port Gamble. Didn't even know this place existed! This is a place NOT to be missed if you are in the mood for sweets. We wanted something sweet and looked up this place. Super cute town driving in, beautiful view of the water. We ordered : the almond raspberry cake, strawberry shortcake, lemon bar, and lemon cheesecake. The almond raspberry cake was so moist, not overly sweet, fresh whipped cream, fresh raspberries, and topped with some crunchy almonds, just the right amount of sweetness! Strawberry shortcake was just like grandma made it. The strawberries were just the right sweetness, fresh whipped cream, crop lu shortcake made the right way so it socks up the strawberries goodness! Lemon bar was sweet and tart equally. The crust had the right amount of crunch and buttery goodness. Lemon cheesecake was creamy and lemony dreamy! Service was friendly and helpful. They were quick and super patient as we decided what to get. This cute old gas station like spot had a nostalgic feel. Definitely will be back for their food and more dessert!“
“Stopped in for some food and it was decent, just your average bar food. The bartender was super nice and welcoming. Plenty of dogs walking around enjoying themselves and saying hi to everyone. Ambiance was pretty dive bar esk but nice. Would stop in for a beer again but maybe pass on the food.“
“We have been to Copine a couple of times and it is a good experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I am vegan and they have the chef prepare special courses based on the fresh ingredients they have, which I greatly appreciate. It is a very fine dining experience and my palette is not advanced enough to really appreciate it. The experience is a very fun date night or special occasion idea.“
“I’ve posted about Beast and Clever before but that was for the Peasant Dinner. My third visit was for the Wine Bar with their A La Cart Menu and this was definitely a more budget friendly option for those who want to try. And the food did not disappoint. I mean it never does. I just don’t think it’s possible to have a bad meal at Beast and Clever. This week’s visit included some Filipino options and the Filipina in me was not disappointed at all. Chef Karl did his THANG with the pork adobo and Sisig. Both were easily the best dishes I’ve had of those from anywhere. The pork adobo doesn’t look as delicious as it is. But the meat was tender, seasoned through and through and not dry at all. The crispy rice was cooked to perfection and the epitome of what you want this to be. I hate to make my mom and aunties upset but it was far superior than anything I’ve had growing up or even making myself. The Sisig was nothing short of amazing either. For me Sisig can sometimes be “too porky” and “too greasy” but he definitely balanced this with perfection. Chewy, savory, bright, slight zing of vinegar and all the things you crave with Sisig. It took everything in our group to not order a second but we still had so much more food coming. And while the Filipino food was my fave from this visit, it doesn’t mean the rest of our food was nothing less than stellar. I’ve been dying to try one of their burger pop ups on Friday and when we saw the burger on the menu, we knew we were going to try. And the way this burger just melted into my mouth was nothing less than amazing. The steak was seared to perfection. Tender and just the right of salt. The beefy profile of the steak was highlighted for sure. The heirloom tomato salad - hands down the best tomato salad I’ve have had this season. It was fresh, vibrant and bursting with delicious tomato flavors that you seek for from a good tomato. I was actually surprised that I enjoyed the raw squash too. Chef kiss. And dessert here is always my fave. The way they end a meal with a savory but slightly sweet dessert, just can’t be beat. We had more and I could go on and on. I guess I’m just here to say - if you have not done beast and clever yet, what are you waiting for? — at Beast & Cleaver.“
“The burgers and sides are all fine, but the milkshake is the best I've ever had. I find that usually vegan milkshakes lack the thick, creamy texture I miss so much in dairy milkshakes. This milkshake was so, so good that I'd make the nearly 2 hour drive to have it again!“
“Absolutely fell in love with it our first visit! Staff is awesome and know what they are doing. I was trying to order pancakes with blueberries & my sides, not knowing there was a combo # for it, he said oh that's a number (sorry can't remember the actual #) but he did. He said we can just add the blueberries to it & it cost me a lot less than ordering my way!“
“Came here looking for biscuits and gravy and we are NOT disappointed ☺️I usually struggle to finish biscuits and gravy all by myself, so I went with the safest option- sammie (with no cheese)! I loved it - no crumbs left behind! I also tried rustic ‘something’ cocktail- a little strong but I like the flavours. My partner ordered biscuits and gravy. He gobbled it up before I was halfway through mine!Service was pretty quick- we got the drinks and food pretty fast! Portion sizes were good enough and filling. Lemonade was surprisingly too sour.Ballard has some good places for biscuits and gravy and IMO Hattie’s Hat is one of ‘em!“
“Good location. Lots of parking. Right on the water with a beautiful view. Ambiance is nice. Food is good. I wish they had caesar salad and more pasta dishes. Waitress was friendly but service was slow for a Thursday. Will definitely return!“
“Daphne's is such a special experience and one I look forward to on every visit to Edmonds. There isn't a cocktail on the menu that I would not recommend, especially when you pair it with a slice of Moto Pizza from across the street. I must make a special shoutout to Desmond, a regular bartender, who treats every customer like family, makes them laugh, and ensures they have a one-of-a-kind experience. Be prepared to squeeze into this little hole in the wall, but I can assure you it's worth the visit.Kid-friendliness: Drop the kids at the movie theater next door and kick back at Daphne's ;)Wheelchair accessibility: Edmonds has a few places within walking distance of Daphne's that would be more suited for wheelchair access!“
“This is one of my favorite burger places in Seattle. They have great burger options, deep fried veggies and plenty of tables. This is one of the places I can take my kids and they are happy, too. If you, like me, enjoy Chile peppers on your burger, you should try the one at giddy up, can't go wrong with that.“
“This is a super chill place to hang out. Good drinks and food and the service is incredible! Katy always delivers great service with enthusiasm and a great sense of humor! I highly recommend this place if you want to catch a game and get some good food and drinks. LIFE IS GOOD!“
“Fish and chips are really good. The staff is pretty friendly. They have Wi-Fi available which is pretty cool. The only complaint I have is that it's extremely cold inside of the restaurant and a very uncomfortable to be that cold while you're trying to eat.“
“Fantastic experience at Samara. I’m already looking forward to coming back again. Everything we ate was executed to perfection: cooked to the perfect doneness/temp/texture, flavorful but balanced, perfectly seasoned, just the right portion size, and beautifully presented. 10/10 would recommend.“
“Stopped in with a friend to play some pinball on Wednesday 8/23/23. Pinball map was pretty accurate regarding pins on location, and the games we played were in good condition, spaced out well, and most had cupholders or tables close by. There were the requisite 40"-50" TVs playing sports set up around the bar, but they were not the center of attention - this isn't a sports bar. There were 4-5 pool tables, and all were busy by the time we left for the Ice Box around 9 PM. Stiff well drinks, a decent selection of beer, etc., and decent prices for the area. I like the square wooden-framed ~25'x25' area around the bar, away from the pinball and pool - it was kind of cozy and they had a corner with a mic set up for...music or karaoke or stand-up, or something else I guess. New owners revamped this place in late 2021 or early 2022, and they kept the dive bar atmosphere, but really cleaned the place up. No yucky smells, and I didn't feel like I had to wash my hands after I left. I know that's not a high bar, but I what I mean was that it was a pleasant and unpretentious place to hang out. Didn't try any food - maybe next time. Sorry, no pictures this time!“
“I get my Sullys To Go because I don’t like people. The food is amazing every single time! it’s like you were sitting there, but without all the people to bother you. The food is great and the portions are large. This is just a hidden gem so don’t tell too many of your friends.“
“We have passed by this place many times and never gone in until now. So pleasantly surprised by everything about this place. We ended up getting the grilled cauliflower for a starter, short ribs and the crab roll for dinner and the molten chocolate cake for dessert. It was all great and there are 4 more things on the menu.“
“Very fresh summer salad. Kitchen staff know how to slice for sure, and the presentation was perfect. Lots to go back for and sample, this trip was a To Go. Shrimp, avocado, strawberry, grapes, tomato, thin sliced red onion, spring greens, lemony vinaigrette dressing. I added my own limon Lays chips. Roomy industrial feel to the indoor area, casual shaded patio outdoors. All staff were friendly, sincere, & fast to offer service.“
“I would give this place 10 stars if I could. My husband and I split a reuben.. The food was incredible, the staff was great, the locals sitting next to us were super friendly and the atmosphere sitting outside with a little tea pot for my hot tea was the best. I was in Washington for a week and it may have been my favorite moment.“
“Dan assisted me in coordinating a takeout order for a baby shower for 18 guests. He made great menu suggestions, and packed and delivered the order himself. The food was delicious - Chicken & waffles, McMuffins, tater tots, a beautiful green salad with white balsamic vinaigrette. Super friendly and wonderful service - the group was very happy!“
“I popped in to grab a cinnamon roll to go earlier. The inside is super cute so I'll definitely be back to try dining in. The enormous cinnamon rolls were in a case at the front. The bartender boxed mine up along with extra icing for an extra dollar. I split it with my partner when I got home, plenty for two people. The extra icing was a good move so you'd never have a bite not covered. It's not a gooey cinnamon roll but not dry, great cinnamon flavor, delicious icing. I'll definitely come back.“
“A great place for food, drinks, and pinball! To start, the staff are very friendly and quick getting your order. The ambiance is retro but has a chill vibe to it. For the food, there is a variety of options and the smash burger was absolutely fantastic packed with flavor. Also had chicken salad and the mozzarella sticks, both fantastic. Lastly, don't forget to play some pinball as they have some awesome machines to play on.“
“This is a great local spot! The staff is very nice, the menu (both drink and food) is simple but well done, and the atmosphere is a nostalgia filled and dark. They have a stack of VHS tapes, games to play, and a pinball machine in the back. I love it here!“
“Joli pickles its way into your heart. ❤️I won’t detail the dynamic and fun expertly executed cultural fusion food and beverage experience. Instead I’ll just say, “Go”! Come back and comment if you felt this level of review isn’t 100% justified.“
“I go to Chocmo often to meet with friends and enjoy catching up over yummy drinks and food. The atmosphere is so inviting, has plenty of space and comfy seating for long chats. What I appreciate the most is the later hours of being open until 7:00, most if not all other coffee shops in Poulsbo close by 5:00. Thank you Chocmo!“
“Menu has been changed a bit over the years, but the burger and fries still hit. Always a nice outing with a heated outdoor patio and some hood and quick service. Limited hours though, so make sure you plan ahead as you can only get dinner here on thursdays and fridays. Nonetheless, great lunch spot for a hearty fill up“
“We visited Rory’s for the first time yesterday and Ryan was our bartender. He was awesome! There was an amazing vibe and GREAT customer service. Today we came back because we had such a good time and Ryan is working. He remembered us and also remembered our drinks, just awesome! The food here is exceptional, customer service amazing, and the vibes are definitely worth it!“
“We we’re greeted promptly and quickly seated which is rare these days. Our waiter was Andrew and he also attended to us promptly and was kind from the start. My wife had the Nutella crepes and biscuits with peppered gravy. She rarely will finish her serving but did this time. (I helped with a biscuit) I had the lumberjack omelette with Pelican special potatoes. I’ll say one thing about the food. We’ve been here 6 months and that’s the best meal I’ve had including 3 of the local steakhouse’s. We will return, and my wife left a generous tip! Kudos to the chef.“
“Came here on Easter, it was fairly busy but got a seat at the bar right away. Had water and coffee immediately. Erik did a great job of managing the bar and incoming guests to make sure everyone was greeted right away and felt welcome. The food was amazing. Got the veggie omelet with bacon and a side of biscuits and gravy. It was all really good and all I could ask for. Price was right and I will definitely be back“
“We have been here for dinner a couple of time but went here for brunch since they just re-opened for brunch again on the weekends. Great to see another option for brunch/breakfast because there some seem to be enough places around and the restaurants that are open for brunch are always packed! We took my mom along so that we could try a variety of items. We started with the sausage rolls. These are amazing - sausage pieces are wrapped in a puff pastry and drizzled with a sweet and spicy chili glaze. We LOVED these! So many layers of flavor going on.My mom had the eggs Benedict with short rib - the short rib was tender and decadent and oh so perfect with the creamy hollandaise sauce. I thought the bennies had the right amount of sauce - I hate when the bennies are doused or barely have a drizzle but they really nailed it on the right amount of sauce in my opinion. The eggs were cooked to perfection on the Bennie as well.I had the biscuits and gravy which was really tasty. The biscuits were moist and buttery and again they had the perfect amount of gravy much like the hollandaise on the bennie. The gravy was flavorful and full of sausage. I enjoyed the breakfast potatoes because they are crispy. My husband had the breakfast burrito. It was quite large and filled with sausage, eggs, cheese, avocado, bell peppers, and onions. I enjoyed how fresh the peppers tasted in the burrito. The only thing I wish is that the burrito was a bit spicier but I know that is a bit of a personal preference.Overall great experience. The staff is always so friendly here. I look forward to coming back for brunch to try the strawberry tartine and the chimchurri steak and eggs!! I am also looking forward to sitting out on the patio as the weather gets nicer.“
“The Lamplighter is everything one wants in a neighborhood bar. Plenty of TVs for watching sports, free pool, pull tabs for days, and epically friendly staff behind the bar and in the kitchen.Parking: If the parking lot is full, there's plenty of street parking around.“
“Beautiful garden, delicious food (and priced really fairly), lovely staff, just all around a special place. I had been a loyal Mossback fan in Kingston, and have been trying to find a replacement the last couple of years since it closed. I can't believe I didn't know about Molly Ward until somewhat recently (I've been in Kitsap almost 10 years!). Now I'll be a regular. The owner and chef personally delivered my food and referred to me by my name, which is such a special touch. All the staff were fun and friendly. Can't wait to go back!“
“My favorite breakfast place in Seattle. American egg dishes, swedish pancakes and Mexican specialities. Gets really busy close to noon on weekends, but easy otherwise. Really nice staff and usually very quick.Parking: Lowest level of the garage is earmarked for the restaurant and easy to get up there. Other levels are a real zoo!“
“Food was fantastic. My mom said her fish tacos were the best she's ever had. Huge portions for the price. Good service, very polite and knowledgeable wait/bar staff. Configuration of lower level a bit odd. We didn't see the upstairs so can't comment on that, but the small downstairs bar tables are a tad tight.“
“The restaurant was built in the 70s, and it gives off good vibes. It is clean and neat. We had the biggest omelets ever! The omelets were delicious, not much salt, which I love but stuffed with goodness. The server was nice, quick, and funny. She kept coming back to refill my coffee and smiled when we told her how good we felt at their restaurant. The price was good too. We will for sure go back again.“
“Just ordered dinner for the family - so thankful Bad Albert’s is up and running during this COVID-19 crisis! 2 burger dips, chicken strip basket, and a house salad. Everything was packaged nicely, and quality of food was amazing! I ordered for pick up, and when I arrived pick up was easy, had my credit card sanitized before being handed back to me. Pens for signing were sanitized and separate from used pens. The owners have made a noticeable effort to ensure safety for their customers and staff! We plan on ordering at least weekly, for as long as this “stay home, stay safe” order is in place.“
“Alive with friends, it is a quintessential local watering hole. The food is okay, but a few tweaks could help it. For example the hamburger comes on a roll that is too big, usually dry, hard, and simply doesn't add to the experience, no matter how much care goes into the patty. In general the menu is tired and doesn't get much attention, even though it is a big part of the ale house. There is a new place going in across the street, related to Ridgewood by the Red Mill Burger joint. Competition is welcome and needed, but I feel the pricing at the new place will be high, like Ridgewood, and the regular Ale House crowd will stay put. The Ale House clientele seems to be in the 50s. I like it in general, now lean more on the tap beers and eat before coming in.“
“My friends and I watch the ufc fights here and not only is it the best atmosphere the service here is amazing. Mostly thanks to Ali ? Don't go to Buffalo wild wings or any other sports bar for ufc or any major sporting event. Come to Fuel!“
“Tonight's special was outstanding Max out did himself!!Inch and a half pork chop done to perfection!A spinach salad and ba-CON thing was a a party in my mouth!! ??I'm afraid the cheese cake is probably gone . But it was better than crack! Lolol chocolate peanut butter delight!!But get your butts in some seats down here and try for yourselves!!!Oh it's the special tonight!!“
“Great service! We bowled with the family then came in after for pizzas. They were preparing to shut down for the night but decided to accomodate us. The kitchen staff, the bar staff, the entire restaurant were extremely friendly, cordial and professional. We ordered 3 pizzas! The kids were delighted. We showed our appreciation to the staff with a hefty gratuity. Thanks Vault 177! (Sorry no photos of the pizzas. They were gobbled up quickly but I can assure you if you like thin neopolitian style pizza with tons of toppings, this is a great option!)“
“I haven't been here in years and I am glad I came back. The food is crazy good, the staff are friendly and professional, and the prices are great too. I am glad when I go on break, I can come just 2 minutes down the road and relax here and eat good food.“
