“For my boyfriend’s birthday, I took him to get a Tomahawk steak at Flint Creek. We were both incredibly blown away by the quality of the food and the top tier service given to us by Nathan, our server. The tomahawk was sooo good, it had a delightful spice crust on the outside and was cooked to perfection. We also both swooned over the prosciutto & plum dish (absolutely god tier). Our table service was unmatched— Nathan made sure that we were taken care of every single step of the way and we left feeling full and satisfied. Thank you Nathan & the team at Flint Creek!!“
“This place is so cute and quaint! It’s small but a great vibe and the staff were wonderful and friendly. I’ve lived in Greenwood for 13 years and never stumbled across this place until recently. It’s a hidden gem. Decent drinks but don’t except to take a gang of people with you. Perfect for a couple! I’ll be back for sure!“

“What a great place! Tried the pizza and a pasta dish, which were both delicious. Tiramisu for dessert was also great. We went for dinner on Friday, and it was packed (which is always a good sign). Because of the lack of seating, they sat us at the chef's table, which was neat, because we could watch them cook and the line run. Just a note: the seats at the chefs table were pretty uncomfortable (just a small wooden bar stool with no back). It was worth it to me, to be able to watch the chefs cook, but my partner (who is a large man) was very uncomfortable. Overall, a great experience with great food and service!“
“Lovely vinyl bar that actually SPINS VINYL!!!!!!! Love their selection of wine / cider / beer with plenty options available from tap. We were just coming from Copine next door so we didn't order any food but I bet their foods are just as tasty! I can't wait to come back for drinks and munchies. The vibes inside are just right for enjoying music, boardgames/doodling with friends or just chatting. They have beautiful garage windows that open up as a patio space where doggos are welcome to hangout as well. I personally LOVED their vinyl/fridge section and the color pencils / sketchbooks they had by the boardgames. It was a serendipitous moment to have found this bar while walking around.“

“This is an awesome, unique gem of Greenwood. The staff couldn't be better, great bar food(try the burgers, you're welcome), classic and unique arcade games with pinball. If that all wasn't enough, they the wettest water Greenwood.“

“Seattle’s own “Real Fisherman’s Wharf.” Good service, great food, not fussy or pretentious. The price is reasonable and the quality is consistent. When I have guests in town, Chinook’s is always on the list of places to go. In a single word “Seattle.”“
“This is a very very awesome brewery! I am excited at the opportunity to work with them, to help them have live events like comedy, music, and other forms of entertainment. It is a really nice space and has a nice outdoor area and is in a great neighborhood. The neighborhood has a 1990s nostalgic light feeling, in a way that the other parts of Seattle do not currently have anymore. (With the exception of West Seattle, which still very much holds onto that feeling I so much miss from my childhood) So go to the brewery! Have fun, be safe, and laugh a lot! - Noah aka DinoDad“

“Stopped in for some food and it was decent, just your average bar food. The bartender was super nice and welcoming. Plenty of dogs walking around enjoying themselves and saying hi to everyone. Ambiance was pretty dive bar esk but nice. Would stop in for a beer again but maybe pass on the food.“

Friendly service, cozy vibes, and a menu filled with top-notch pizza? , beer? , and wine? makes it a perfect spot for everyone. Super spacious with an option of outdoor sitting as well. And can’t forget about the backyard patio.Ps: pets? and family friendly?“

“The Waterwheel Lounge is such a special place, it was one of the first places I've fallen in love with in Seattle WA. This "Cheers-like" bar has karaoke Thursday - Saturday 9:30pm to 1:30am and Sunday 7:30pm to 12:30am. Such a great spot to meet locals and sing your heart out.“

“The Cozy Nut is a hidden gem in Greenwood and it is quite cozy! This is one local bar that we always end up at. It's so inviting, and the staff is great each time we are in there. I'm so glad they survived after covid because we were worried there for a minute. Sip on delicious draft beer, wine, or perhaps a classic Manhattan which is my go to every time I go in there. The cozy ambiance makes it an ideal spot to unwind after a long day or to go on a date. Prices here are democratic, offering great value for what you receive. They also have an outdoor area in the back and animals are welcome.“

“Before hosting an event nearby, I saw Pine Tavern and immediately knew I had to stop in here before heading out of Ballard. I'm really never in Ballard so I knew it was (probably) now or never! If you know me, you know I'm a fan of a good dive bar. I wouldn't really classify this a true dive bar but it's very laid back and the atmosphere is super chill. Love the colorful string lights above the bar, too! We sat in the front part of the bar but I could see they had a separate back portion that looked really cool too. Service was super nice. I was hoping to try something off their menu and the bartender let me know they were out of nearly everything, but they did have grilled cheese, so that's what I had! Very simple, but super tasty and fit the vibe for a cold Seattle night. If I was in Ballard regularly, I could definitely see this being a normal hangout for me. Great vibes all around.“

“Daphne's is such a special experience and one I look forward to on every visit to Edmonds. There isn't a cocktail on the menu that I would not recommend, especially when you pair it with a slice of Moto Pizza from across the street. I must make a special shoutout to Desmond, a regular bartender, who treats every customer like family, makes them laugh, and ensures they have a one-of-a-kind experience. Be prepared to squeeze into this little hole in the wall, but I can assure you it's worth the visit.Kid-friendliness: Drop the kids at the movie theater next door and kick back at Daphne's ;)Wheelchair accessibility: Edmonds has a few places within walking distance of Daphne's that would be more suited for wheelchair access!“

“Funky spot with good food and friendly staff. Take their sign with seriousness at the corner booth, it is a little loud there because of the speaker. Maybe wouldn't be so bad, but the music wasn't exactly the best?. Wouldn't stop us from going back though.“

“I went midweek at 2Pm. I was the only person there, service was prompt and friendly. The music and atmosphere was chill but great. I ordered the Prosciutto sandwich. The sandwich was so good, one of the best I have had in a while. If you are in the area, it is definitely a place worth going.Parking: This is a residential area so parking could be rough during a busy time.“

“We ate there last night not having been there for the last fifteen or so years. The food was delicious and a full meal for $20 was wonderful ( actually left overs will cover two lunches) ! The background music was just right and Jasmine, our server, was right on top of all in the room . Good experience and we won’t wait fifteen years to return!“

“Hole in the Whole type of place. Definitely for my beer people, as they had quite the selection. They offer mimosas as their only other type of alcoholic drink that isn't beer. Bartender was sweet & friendly. Ambiance was okay, nothing extraordinary. Mellow and quiet as we were the only guest.“

“Went to Sabine Cafe for a quick afternoon bite with my teenager. We chose some appetizers to share off the menu: fried cauliflower, whipped feta with veggies, and the Za’atar fries. The service was friendly and efficient. The food arrived quickly, too.The food is middle eastern influenced. My teen didn’t like the tahini and feta flavors, unfortunately. ? She made the most of it though and ate some of the food… but just didn’t love it.Personally, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and outdoor glassed-in dining area, but also wasn’t blown away by the food we chose. (I noticed they have a breakfast/brunch menu - maybe this would be a better option next time…)“

“Stopped in with a friend to play some pinball on Wednesday 8/23/23. Pinball map was pretty accurate regarding pins on location, and the games we played were in good condition, spaced out well, and most had cupholders or tables close by. There were the requisite 40"-50" TVs playing sports set up around the bar, but they were not the center of attention - this isn't a sports bar. There were 4-5 pool tables, and all were busy by the time we left for the Ice Box around 9 PM. Stiff well drinks, a decent selection of beer, etc., and decent prices for the area. I like the square wooden-framed ~25'x25' area around the bar, away from the pinball and pool - it was kind of cozy and they had a corner with a mic set up for...music or karaoke or stand-up, or something else I guess. New owners revamped this place in late 2021 or early 2022, and they kept the dive bar atmosphere, but really cleaned the place up. No yucky smells, and I didn't feel like I had to wash my hands after I left. I know that's not a high bar, but I what I mean was that it was a pleasant and unpretentious place to hang out. Didn't try any food - maybe next time. Sorry, no pictures this time!“

“Bar Sabine was pretty packed on a Saturday night, and after having dinner at Asadero nearby, we decided to hit up Bar Sabine for some late-night cocktails. Even though we were the only ones waiting in line, we waited outside in the chilly Seattle night for 30 to 40 minutes. The wait made more sense once we stepped inside. The interior had tributes to Lord of the Rings everywhere from the decorations to the names of the drinks. They even had all three Lord of the Rings movies playing on different TVs at the same time. Although I do not know much about the franchise, I really appreciated the attention to detail and the tenacity to stick to the theme. The cool glassware matching the theme added to the vibe - like the White Hand of Saruman served in a black glass with a white handprint, or the Mirror of Galadriel with a mirror on a wooden box. I didn't check out the full menu, but I noticed other drinks coming in unique glasses, like barrels or mid-century mugs.I tried the Mirror of Galadriel, the White Hand of Saruman, and the Broken Sword of Narsil. The Broken Sword of Narsil was the standout, with fenugreek cream making it unique. It was so good that I had to ask the bartender for more cream. The White Hand of Saruman was on the sweet side, probably thanks to the condensed milk. The Mirror of Galadriel, with lavender gin and strawberry sake, packed more of a punch than I expected. All in all, the experience was worth the wait, and I'll definitely be back at Bar Sabine.“

“This is a great local spot! The staff is very nice, the menu (both drink and food) is simple but well done, and the atmosphere is a nostalgia filled and dark. They have a stack of VHS tapes, games to play, and a pinball machine in the back. I love it here!“

“It’s a great place! The food is so yummy even though the flavor is still a little different from what I had in Oaxaca, Mexico.Recommend to try the pozole, it’s so good! And they are generous, they give a lot of pork and hominy in the soup. Their tacos are the best!! Definitely try the Taco Al Pastor! ? Delicious!Their lunch menu and dinner menu are different. “What a "Seattle" place! A unique dog park/bar of my dreams ? hangout and chill with your drink of choice while the dogs play. “A great place for food, drinks, and pinball! To start, the staff are very friendly and quick getting your order. The ambiance is retro but has a chill vibe to it. For the food, there is a variety of options and the smash burger was absolutely fantastic packed with flavor. Also had chicken salad and the mozzarella sticks, both fantastic. Lastly, don't forget to play some pinball as they have some awesome machines to play on.“
“The owner is exceptionally kind. The record he was playing is my partner’s favorite and has been super hard to find before our anniversary. Without thought, he gave it to me for what he bought it for (a total steal) on top of being exceptionally nice as always and having great beers. If you want a laid-back place to have a nice beer or place some board games with some friends, I would come here and support this great local business.Parking: East street parkingWheelchair accessibility: Ground floor with no stairs“
“I painted the Sasquatch / Orca Mural at the front of the shop ... I kind of have an affinity for this place. There is a whole lot of competition in the area, but BBCo. is still one of the best spots in town to visit if you want to sample a wide variety of local beers without having to do a brewery crawl.“

“This place is incredibly popular for brunch, but then they open back up and get it 3 PM for dinner today I was going to experience brunch your decaf coffee was incredible salt and iron! Our server, Tyler was very knowledgeable and I had to have a corn beef a cash breakfast but before I did that I had to have the jalapeño biscuits with your special whiskey and onion butter… The seating was incredible and beautiful, but I must recommend making the reservation in advance because this place is incredibly popular and you will find out why when you sit down and try all their food… Say hello to Tyler for me that dude was awesome!“

“We held our wedding rehearsal dinner here, and everything went wonderfully. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was fancy but not stuffy. We had some last-minute adjustments, and the owner and staff looked for solutions. They really went above and beyond to make the dinner a success. We sat in the Terrace di Nuovo—a tented area—and were very comfortable. The lighting and decorations made for a fancy but friendly atmosphere. It was a perfect setting for our families to meet. The food was excellent. We had a set three-course dinner, served family style. We were particularly pleased with the vegetarian option: Tagliatelle in a cream sauce with asparagus, leeks, and peas. The bride (now my wife!) really enjoyed the Rigatoni Bolognese. Oh! We had debated whether or not to get the hors d'oeuvres. We did, and they were definitely worth it.We had a wonderful evening and made some life-long memories.“

“This is a pet and human friendly place with straightforward cocktails and appetizers set up. The beautiful pizza smells are from the connected cousin next door but there's no dining cross over. However, the apps do not disappoint. We had the meatballs, burrata, and cauliflower. All flavorful, no competing over overpowering flavors or seasonings, and satisfying. That said, the complexity of their cocktails are incredible. I had the local botanical gin-based cocktail, Birch. Fantastic. A second will definitely hit you. ?. I had a sample of the local gin neat. It's clean, slightly sweeter than a Gray Whale from CA. I would order the gin straight or the cocktail again. The team is incredibly nice!so sorry i forgot to take pics! i was hungry.Vegetarian options: delicious cheese and veg options: birrata, cauliflower and more“
“My fiancé and I stopped at this bar on our visit to Seattle/Washington. We had a lovely time trying wine and Washington ciders, browsing the hiking books, and speaking to the owners. They were very kind and knowledgeable about hiking and plants - two of my favorite things!I don’t think I’ve ever left a review before on google, but I feel like I needed to because this was truly a lovely bar. (And I don’t even like bars very much!)“
“Odessa was such a great bartender tonight. Even though it was a busy Wednesday she still took time out of her shift to ask me what I wanted and needed to have a good night. A couple of people were being aggressive but she handled it with grace. I admire her and will be back at lock keel. she is one of my favorite bartenders and she showed it tonight!!!“
“This is a canonical casual neighborhood gathering place. If it's not raining too hard, the outdoor seating area is brimming with young families and dogs. The indoor seating skews less chaotic. They have a gazillion kinds of beer, several ciders, and a few wines. The food comes from a rotating cast of food trucks in the front lot.I gave it 5 stars because it is exactly what it appears to be. If you're looking for table service, cloth napkins and metal cutlery, go somewhere else. If you want a fermented beverage, something yummy from a food truck, and maybe a place where kids can run a little on the loose side while you have a beer, this is a great spot.“

“I’m giving them a 5 star for the price and the tastiness of an $8 burger and fries which is unheard in Seattle! I’ve been here many times and never thought about joining them for food and happy hour. It’s so cheap for their daily specials and the burger was delicious. You couldn’t go wrong with it and their secret sauce was delish. They have a huge outdoor area and you can even bring your pup (which I did). Nice spot for an outdoor area to enjoy HH drinks and the sun. The inside is quite large too and I’ve been there to watch sporting events and it’s a fun atmosphere. Check out their daily specials, wing night on Mondays for $.75 per wing, Tuesday $8 burger and fries, Wednesday $8 Toasty which is cheese sandwich and tomato soup, Thursday $10 Aussie Parma or schnitzel. It’s all sounds like a good deal! I’ll be back for other items on their HH list. The waiter was nice too! No complaints and it wasn’t busy on a Tuesday afternoon at 4. I’m sure it’s busy on big events and weekends. Fun spot!“

“Food was fantastic. My mom said her fish tacos were the best she's ever had. Huge portions for the price. Good service, very polite and knowledgeable wait/bar staff. Configuration of lower level a bit odd. We didn't see the upstairs so can't comment on that, but the small downstairs bar tables are a tad tight.“

“Wow what a great experience! Originally I was easily able to reserve a table for 15 people a few weeks away from the day.. and did not need to put down a deposit. A week before.. I just called to confirm for 12 ppl now and they easily changed it. On the day of the dinner.. we didn't wait long and was seated in a upper corner area which was intimate and cozy. Our server Isaac B. was sooo amazing. He was funny and patient with our group. Always had a smile on his face and cracking jokes. He really made our dinner extra special and even remembered my friend's birthday. He was patient with all the orders and separating the check was a breeze. Best customer service we have had in such a long time. Thanks Anthony Edmonds and Issac for a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back. “If you want to stay away from drama, loud people & crazy young drunks... come here. Cheap drinks. Quiet bar full of mostly older folks. Service is a bit slow because usually they just got 1 or 2 people, but they're very nice. <3 Prepare yourself for lots of Dad Rock, but otherwise a great introvert bar.“
“It was a bit unclear about the schedule for the events, and the sound stage and the space are not as big as expected, given the number of tickets sold for events. The event start time on the ticket is the door open time, and the first performance starts one hour after the door open time. We waited for 50 minutes to get in upon arriving at door open time. The drink selection is also pretty limited. Ordered a can of beer for $8.I would prefer to have a clearer instruction/detail on the ticket’s page, but still a decent place if you have any interested performances here.“

“Love King's. A little too young and crowded for me during peak weekend nights (but that's my issue, not theirs). Love their wings. The outdoor space is great. Good wait staff. Just great vibes all together. Only downside is that the bouncer (not sure if he's still there) has a major power trip and refused to let us in once because he thought one of the girls in our party was too drunk (we were 100% sober but it didn't matter to him.) Made her feel awful and ruined the night. Still giving the place 5 stars because I won't knock off a star just for a bad bouncer, but I considered it.“
“Shingletown is a country themed bar on Market in the downtown Ballard area. It's known for the indoor theme, hay on the floor, country music and a younger crowd. The staff here are great, super friendly and quick with drinks. They have karaoke some nights. At night, past 11, they are usually packed with a line to get in. Overall a fun place to come drink if you are OK being around a younger crowd shoulder to shoulder.“
